Two Men And A Truck

They were excellent. They came when they said and charged what they said. They worked very quickly and they were careful. They were nice and did good work.

They were so so. They are young guys and professionalism was so so. They put my kid's crib together backwards, just goofy stuff like that they did. You get what you pay for. They probably underbid because they were here longer than they thought they were going to be. Moving is a stressful thing and when you have a kid that comes into your house who maybe 18 or 20 years old and they sigh and mop around a little bit because it was a bigger job than they thought. I don't need to hear that. In the first five minutes of meeting them you start to wonder how safe are my household goods. I will probably use someone else in the future.

.I was very pleased wiith the work they did. They took good care of my piano and I was very satisfied. I would use them again.

They showed up and started off great. One of the workers was fantastic the whole time even though he didn't think we had done a very good job packing. We had quite a few boxes pa ked but not closed. The other mover made lots of judgmental glances and off-colored comments and complaining about how hard the job was. It may not have been perfect, but I thought we were paying them to move whatever we had! I dont appereciate being judged this way, especially of such a stressfull day as moving day!!! Granted this was just one of our "2 guys" and the scheduling company did a food job, but this one worker made the whole job difficult for us.

They were polite and respectful. They stick close to the quote they give you over the phone. They have helped me with smaller moves, but I know they do larger moves as well.

Our movers, Andy, Keith & Shane, were excellent. They had to deal with some unknown road blocks of removing residence and appliance doors to allow for our move to be successful; which didn't ruffle the guys' feathers a bit. All men were very curteous, thorough and willing do go the extra mile for us. Our local move experience was outstanding.

They won't move any precious or fragile items. I actually had to pack and move all my heavy and fragile items, which caused me to hire some local kids to help me. The company policy was that they don't move anything fragile, and they do not help pack. I actually tried contacting their corporate office twice, and have had no response.

The two young men were very polite, arrived on time, worked hard, and were careful with her belongings. Everything arrived in good condition. A supervisor stopped by late in the move to check on progress and to ensure we were happy with the results. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Two Men and a Truck for our next move.

The company caused excessive damage to our household goods, it was very unprofessional during the claims process, and it provided inaccurate estimates on the costs of the move.

It went great. They were excellent. I liked that they were courteous and professional. They were very organized and made moving painless.

I feel they were overpriced for the small move they made. The scratched up a few things and it took them a while.

The crew showed up on time, early in fact and got the show on the road!We thought it would be just "grab the stuff and put it on the truck".......they took the time to cover and wrap all our furniture, took the shelves out of the bookcases and were very careful! They asked about various items they were moving and what they were not. Very conscientious crew of men! Price is reasonable. Not thrilled, but considering we didn't have to beg relatives and friends to help us move our big stuff, the job took 5 1/2 hours and nothing was broken or gouged, I was very pleased. They also put the furniture where I asked them to up stairs and down.

We have used Two Men twice this year. Great experience both times. I am very picky so I stood close by while they moved. We have antiques but my hovering over them did not bother them in the least. They were cheerful and careful. Very good workers.

I called them on a Thursday morning at the end of the month and asked if they could meet us at a furniture store and pick up furniture we were going to buy and deliver it. Rob was so pleasant and said they could pick up the next morning at 8am or later if the stores weren't open yet. Within minutes he sent me an email confirmation. When I emailed him the store details, but the time I called, it was already entered in their system and the person who answered the phone knew exactly what was going on. The next morning, the movers called me at 7:50am and were at the location. They were very polite young men who introduced themselves and shook hands. The move took less than an hour. It was by far the most pleasant experience with movers that I have ever had. Most places including them were booked at the end of the month but he knew we were in town for 2 days to move my daughter and they made it happen. You can't go wrong with them.

.They are excellent. They were very nice and very good. Everything was nice. They could not move my plants they said. I had to move them myself. Things went off very smoothly and they have very nice and responsible young man. I will use them in the future.

This is the third time I have used Two Men and A Truck. Each time, the employees were courteous, punctual and professional. They usually send out two young men who look as if they could lift anything - and they do. Once the job starts, they start moving and never stop. They treat my furniture as if it was their own. None of my furniture has ever suffered the slightest d*** or scratch when they do the moving. They work speedily and professionally. Among other things, they moved a huge, one piece entertainment center from my daughter's bedroom to the basement. I don't know how they got it out of mer room! I went to the basement to unlock the door for them to come in and, practically by the time I unlocked the door, there they were! All three times I used them, even though they sent different people each time, they worked in this same manner. On both previous occasions, I called them just to move thing within my house. Guys call other guys to help them move. Single women call Two Men and a Truck (especially when they are in their 50's like me!). My sister used them, my nephew used them, and they both loved them. So I used them andI loved them. Go ahead and used them and you'll love them, too. They do a great job every time. I didn't even know they were on Angie's List. I got on the website to add a provider and submit a report just because they do such a great job. I found out they were already on here. Why am I not surprised?

Scott and Kyle did a wonderful job. I will recommend them to any one I hear of that is moving. I had tried to get everything packed and ready for the movers. I was still packing when they got there. My husband had loaded a personal trailer early, because he was afraid of 1) the weather, rain was predicted, and 2) who the movers would be. After the move was completed he said " those are the hardest working two men I have seen in a LONG time" he was afraid the movers would be young boys with baggy pants, that he would have to stay after to keep them going. He was very pleasantly surprised. Scott and Kyle ended up working a really long day, we had a lot more to move than I thought. Mickey the scheduler suggested that I use 4 men and 2 trucks, which I ignored at Scott and Kyle's expense. But they kept working, they barely took any time for lunch. When we got the original house done, and met at the new house, they unloaded the trailer my husband had loaded, (most of which went to the basement), then they unloaded their truck. They both were so accommodating. Even after working such a long day they were both still kind, still had a sense of humor, and professional, If Two Men and a Truck has a employee of the month recognition program Scott and Kyle both should be awarded bonuses for their work on June 25, 2011. Thanks Scott and Kyle JOB WELL DONE!!

The only drawback is that they don’t have bigger trucks. If we have to move again we would have to order two bigger trucks or use altogether a different company. That would be sad because we really liked them. We would need more moving power. We moved from a small two bedroom house with a small garage and basement to a two bedroom town house. Then on the second move we moved from the two bedroom town house to a five bedroom house. Each time the movers were amazing and they helped us finish packing. We packed all our electronic into our cars. We packed the new TV and stereos ourselves which is important as they sometimes charge us extra for electronic. The guys were professional and courteous. They were respectful of the properties we were moving in and out of. They worked quickly. We would use them in the future.

My family had used Two men and Truck before so we called them to help move my mother-in-law into my sister-in-law's home. They provided me with an accurate estimate and the contacted me prior to the move to confirm. The day of the move two movers came, they were professional and very helpful. We were not moving all the furniture, but we showed them was was going and they quickly moved everything into the truck. They protected all the furniture, carpet, etc and the move went very smoothly. If we ever have to move anyone in our family again, we will use Two Men and Truck again!

This move went well. They arrived at the expected time. They protected the furniture with padding and handled it very carefully. The pieces were difficult to move through some of the doorways, but they were obviously well experienced in that situation. They worked quickly, but took the time needed to do a good job.

They came highly recommended by other former customers and they were really fast, but good, which makes a difference when you're paying by the hour.

We scheduled 4 men and 2 trucks. Our original date fell through so we needed to push back our moving date. We called them 3 times, left messages and never heard back from them. The 4th time, after the old moving date, we called to verify that our new moving date was on the books and they assured us it was. However, on the moving date, they didn't show. My wife called and they said they didn't have us scheduled and were going to need to reschedule for another day. That was unacceptable and we let them know it. They did get 2 men and 1 truck out within a couple of hours - and then a few hours after that 2 more men and another truck showed up. The workers were younger men who weren't too interested in getting the job done fast, I think they were interested in working as long as the proposal was for. We had no boxes and only big furniture that fit into a 2,000 square foot house and it took them close to 10 hours. It was ridiculous.

I talked to the moving estimator but he wanted to do the estimate over the phone. I explained that they would really need to see what had to be moved because I had more than the usual "stuff", including a 46 gallon aquarium and a recumbent bike. He made an appointment and came to my house to give me an estimate. I showed him around every room and pointed out that in addition to the normal bedroom furniture I also had a secretary desk, and a second large couch in the basement along with a second computer desk and chair and plasma TV. He told me they would need to bring along a special box for the TV. He continued to move through the house marking everything on an electronic form that he carried. I then took him outside and explained that the two outdoor benches along with the three metal chairs would also have to be moved. I explained to him that I don't have a truck or a trailer, only a minivan, and I needed them to move everything. He asked if I would prefer to keep it to one truck and they would get all the big stuff and there might be a few leftovers for me to throw in the van. I told him that would be fine. On moving day I was shocked at the size of the truck and had a sinking feeling that there was no way all my things would fit in the truck. The four college students worked like Yeomen to pack things in as much as they could but when the truck was about halfway full I asked if everything was going to fit. The group leader didn't sound too confident . I told him that the aquarium absolutely had to go because my fish needed to get back into their home and I already had my van and all my helper's cars packed full. He also told me that they hadn't been informed about the plasma TV and therefore they didn't have the box for it and couldn't take responsibility for moving it. They did agree to help us get the TV into the back of my son's car. I was impressed by the four young men and their work ethic. I couldn't have asked any more from them. But I felt that the estimator had really let me down. By the time the truck was filled I still had both outside benches, all three outside chairs, two kitchen chairs, a computer chair and the recumbent bike, plus a couple of big fans and assorted other stuff that still needed to be moved. The worst part came several days later when I called the company to voice my unhappiness. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was directed to someone's voice mail. I left my name and phone number but when someone called me back and I started to complain we were either disconnected or he hung up on me. When he didn't call me back I suspected the former. I called back but the next man only argued with me, telling me I had only requested a single truck. I explained that I had no idea of the size of the truck they would send or how they are packed. I counted on THEM know their job.

Based on the amount of stuff we had, they recommended two trucks and when I described the type of furniture, they felt 4 men would be needed as well. They were right. I called to get estimates and details before our move and the staff was very helpful, especially since we needed them at the end of the month and I was only given 18 days notice we had to move when we signed our contract. Overall, everything went very well and this was our second move using this company and we are please with their service.

Movers arrived on-time in the morning, worked fairly efficiently. Were a bit younger than expected and had some difficulty with moving larger / heavier items (entertainment center, heavy dressers) up and around stairways. Some minor scuffing occurred on furniture where pads had slid up and thus unprotected. Some minor scuffing along stairway wall and one small gouge in kitchen vinyl flooring (luckily in house sold). Company doesn't provide / use any covering for floors, but workers did put down some flattened cardboard to protect wood flooring when dolly was used. Completed job in 7 hours (original estimate was 6 hours for furniture but boxes were added).
