Stonebridge Roofing

This was after our huge rains of Christmas2015 so there was a bit of a delay in getting service. Fernando, though, came on a Sunday to give an estimate and by Tuesday, the job was finished as promised. There was no problem in honoring the coupon I'd seen on Angie's List.

Called & set up a date for an estimate. Several days later a very personable young man arrived promptly. Within a week I received a very detailed, thorough estimate for the proposed work. Stonebridge sounded very knowledgeable & professional. However, I got a lower estimate for a roofer who had done other work in my neighborhood so I went with them.

Final roof job looks ok - had some issues with worker not appropriately wrapping before placing shingles. They are not interior construction specialists.

The workers were very courteous and hardworking. Everyone was professional.

Mike and Fernando were great guys to work with. They were honest, forthcoming and performed great work.

Fernando, our saleman, was absolutely wonderful. He was instrumental in diagnosing our roof and damage, then he was here to meet with the insurance adjuster, providing instrumental information Fernando kept in contact throughout the process, on when the different pieces would happen He coordinated all the sub contractors and kept the project moving. It always felt like we were the only roofing job he was working on

All contact with Stonebridge went well. I gave a slightly lower rating for responsiveness only because I tried to call the phone number as an initial contact and left messages with the outsourced answering service and never received a return call. However, after submitting a request online, I was contacted within 24 hours. All additional contact with the company was pleasant and timely. Fernando was the project manager and he walked me through the process, explained everything and supervised progress regularly. He also continuously updated me on status. The crew were all very polite, worked fast and took care to protect my plants. The yard was cleaned up at the end of each day and the entire site was given a detailed clean up at the completion of the job (actually, my porch was cleaner then when they started!). At the final inspection, Fernando let me know that my chimney needs tuck pointing and texted me a picture of the issue. I might not have otherwise known about it. The project manager, Fernando, reached out to me to discuss my rating on responsiveness. I updated my rating to reflect more accurately the excellent communication with Fernando before, during and after the project was completed. I am not sure if the answering service did or did not relay my calls to Stonebridge, however, as I mention above, I did receive a timely response from the website email request.

I would highly recommend Stonebridge Roofing. I contacted them to examine my roof after a concern of hail damage. They came out and did a thorough inspection. After determining that there was damage, they met with my insurance adjuster to point out the damage. During the entire process, I was always in communication with Stonebridge. The workers that came to install the new roof were courteous, worked extremely hard, and cleaned up well. And additional final inspection by Stonebridge found some last little details to finish with the new roof, and I appreciated the final follow up. From start to finish, this has been a painless process and I would highly recommend this company. They have been honest and fair and did great work.

I contacted the project manager, Mr. F Mena while he was finishing a job in my neighborhood. I furnished him with the insurance company claim write up and asked him for an estimate. He scheduled an appointment for 6/19/2015 but never showed up. He called that night to tell me that he had emergency repairs all day and rescheduled for Monday 6/22. Again, he did not show up. When I contacted him the next day, he claimed he had family matters to take care of. My initial reaction was to shy away from a company that is that slack in their business dealings. NOTE: Mr. Mena called to apologize and explained his family emergency. He came by the house to give me an estimate and based on the Angies List reviews and a reasonable bid on the roof replacement, I signed an agreement. I will update my review when the work is completed. UPDATE: The manager and crew did an excellent job in setting up and completing the work, and accomplished everything in one day. They stayed to complete the work until late in the evening because of the threat of rain. They cleaned the area and came back the following morning for their final clean-up, inspection and to remove their trailer. Very pleased with the work and the way it looks.

Finished roof quickly in a day. Looks very nice. Liked it so much i had them do the roof on my shed in my backyard. Very happy with the end product. Fernando and his team did an excellent job and he was always easy to contact if i had questions.

It was a longer process than usual because I needed to make decisions according to budget and what we needed. They were always helpful, offered great ideas, and gave us time to consider what we wanted. Plus, they went to the insurance company and were able to increase the amount the insurance initially gave us. That was a huge boost to make the necessary repairs from a big hail storm. Fernando was timely, professional and over time we got to know one another pretty well. He's a good guy, and he's on the consumers side. He was a delight to work with for the duration of the job. Our roof, siding and gutters are beautiful, and I would highly recommend Stonebrige Roofing company to anyone who wants a professional job done on their home.

Fernando and the team at Stonebridge did a great job of explaining the products and roof replacement process. The team scheduled and completed the work within a week of the original meeting. From start to finish, the roof replacement was finished in under one day. The roof looks great!

Stonebridge Roofing Company provided excellent service in a pinch! I was at work and my husband was about to leave the house on a business trip when he discovered a leak in the ceiling in our dining room. He put a bucket under it and called me at work. I knew I had to do something quickly as it was raining very hard out that day. I called my insurance agent and they recommended Stonebridge as #1, so I called their office and reported the event. The office staff was very pleasant and efficient. I faxed back an approval for Stonebridge to go out to my house and apply a tarp to the leaking area. Within a very short time, the tarp was in place and I was speaking with their project manager, Fernando Mena. In just a few days time, Fernando came to my home to inspect the roof. He reported to me all of the areas of concern and explained how Stonebridge could replace my roof. He had examples of each step of the process and explained all of the materials used in detail. He impressed upon me the company's commitment to quality in the process, materials and workmanship. I also had a concern about my sump pump running all of the time and he arranged for their consulting company, Rapid Dry to call me to schedule an appointment. They helped us determine that a prior backup in the laundry room had left the sill plats in the laundry damp, which was causing the strange odor. They placed a dehumidifier in the laundry room which helped dry up the areas. Fernando was very polite and professional and really worked with me on the price of the repairs to the roof. He also followed -up with me after the repair was completed to make sure that we were satisfied. If I ever have to replace my entire roof, I will certainly consider contacting Stonebridge for assistance!

Mike reported that the roof was in good shape and had years left to be of good service. He did recommend a product called Gaco, which is a product that is applied to an existing roof and carries a 50 year warranty once installed to the correct thickness as directed by the manufacturer. Mike quoted me a price on the scene of $2.50 per square foot, which was not to include any repairs or core samples that were found necessary prior to installation of the Gaco product. He informed me that the product would not adhere or gain its max warranty if it were installed on any surface that had moisture or other issues below. Mike promised a written quote via email by Tuesday (this was after doing my inspection on a Friday). The quote arrived late Wednesday afternoon for more than double the original estimate. Mike's email explained that there were additional steps that he was not aware of that has substantially increased the price of the product. The estimate still did not include any needed repairs or core samples that were found necessary prior to the installation, essentially turning what was supposed to be a $2,500 job into what was quoted to be at least $5,500 and possible more if and when issues were found. I think it is an error on the company's part to quote a price to a customer on a product that you are not familiar with; only to have to inform the customer four days later that the original estimate you gave in person had more than doubled once you learn the process and what is involved in the installation of the product. Overall, I am happy with the service we got from the purchased coupon from Angie's List. I think we got our money's worth from the inspection. But, I am very disappointed with the gross misquote that was presented to me at the time of service.

Nick/Francis, the roofer, was ahead of the appointed time. They did the job as described until 7 pm, their job was well done and their performance was exceeding my expectations.

I was not happy at first because workers showed up close to dark. I was happy that he came back to check everything and no leaks at all.

Everything went great! I just purchased a new condo and I wanted to make sure that everything was dry. Stonebridge Restoration did and inspection and found the home to be dry and free of mold. They were fast and attentive. I would use them again.

After looking at the areas where I was having problems, he determined that his company may not be the best option for my problem and referred me to another company that specializes in finding leaks. He said he could fix it, but he may be overselling me and thought I could spend less money by going with a specialized leak contractor. I respected the fact that he had my financial well being above his bottom line. Rest assured, I would recommend them to a friend as well as call them when I am in need of a roof replacement. They also took the time to point out areas of damage vs general wear of the existing shingles and typically what is required to qualify for assistance from insurance companies.
