It took a long time to get started.

Quick written estimate, followed by frequent updates on when the work, which was not emergency, would actually get done. They did a great job in a really short time.

The work was well done, the mess was cleaned up. Nothing left behind. I never met the people face to face but I was happy with how things were done and their treatment by phone. All paper work was done quickly. I never had to ask twice for proof of insurance or lien waiver.

Nice company to work with, called one evening and left a message, had a return call the next morning. My problem was not an emergency, just a small leak, but was still taken care of quickly. Rich estimated that 3 flashings needed to be repaired, but when the repair man came, he said only 2 needed to be replaced. I felt like they were very honest and did not try to sell me more than what needed to be done. Had a slight problem on billing, again called and within 1 day, had a return call and the problem fixed. I wish all companies worked with this kind of service.

Very good experience. Friendly and cooperative phone service. Quick response to request for quote. Small and friendly crew. Workmanship and clean-up was good. Company estimated 3 days and completed the work in that time except for some flashing that required another visit a week later by another craftsman.

This was one of the easiest experiences with a contracting service I've ever had. They were prompt with their estimate and prompt with their work. They didn't require me to be on site for any of it. And they billed me. Fabulous!

Owner responded immediately when I asked for a bid, and came right out. Several weather delays pushed the schedule back, but the installation went fine. Tested by hard rain and no leaks. Look fantastic. Also did minor repair work on the roof. Left work area clean. Owner and employees were pleasant and professional, available to take my calls or returned them promptly. Warranty not as good as some others, but a good experience overall.

Roofers could have been more careful - several branches broken on bushes THAT were not hanging on the roof.

The roofers came when they said they would, they were very nice, they put on a very nice roof and cleaned the gutters, and they cleaned up perfectly after themselves.

They did a great job. They were prompt and I liked the service.

Everyone that was contacted at this company was efficient and helpful, whether by phone or when repairs were done.

Richard brought shingle samples to me at work, provided addresses of homes with the shingle types I was interested in, and started and completed the work in a very timely fashion.

They came, did the work, and didn't demand payment in full until the work was complete. They did a very good job, and they cleaned up very well. I really liked working with them, and I would definitely use them again.

Excellent. I couldn't be happier to have the problem fixed and the other areas inspected. There seemed to be a slight delay between my acceptance of the estimate and the performance of the work (few weeks) but this may have partly been weather related. Overall, outstanding, very happy, and would hire again in a snap.

Richards Roofing came to my house and gave an estimate for a new roof promptly after my initial request. They mailed me a very detailed and professional proposal. I also received a follow up call a few weeks after the estimate. I did not hire this company but only because the estimate given to me was more than I had planned on spending at this time.

EXCELLENT RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR BID AND EXCELLENT ON-SITE EXPERIENCE. COMPANY CALLED AHEAD AND ARRIVED PROMPTLY AS SCHEDULED. OUR ONLY MINOR PROBLEM WAS THE TIME BETWEEN CONTRACT AND ACTUAL EXECUTION OF THE JOB. THE COMPANY ESTIMATED 2-3 WEEKS; IT TOOK A WEEK OR TWO LONGER THAN THAT TO START. QUALITY OF THE FINISHED WORK WAS EXCELLENT, AND THE COMPANY EVEN FOUND AND FIXED A LATENT LEAK THAT PROBABLY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TREE DAMAGE.

ESTIMATOR SPENT A LOT OF TIME DESCRIBING OPTIONS AND RECOMMENDING CHANGES FROM BUILDERS CONFIGURATION. WORK CREW WAS ON TIME AND COMPLETED THE JOB IN 1.5 DAYS. ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT THEY LEFT SOME DEBRIS AROUND THE YARD.

I CONTACTED THIS COMPANY TWICE OVER A TWO WEEK PERIOD, ASKING FOR THEM TO ASSESS A LEAKING ROOF. BOTH TIMES I WAS ASSURED I WOULD BE CONTACTED QUICKLY BY A REPRESENTATIVE. I WAS NEVER CONTACTED IN ANY WAY, EVEN AFTER THE FOLLOW UP PHONE CALL. VERY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE FOR SUCH A HIGHLY RATED COMPANY ON ANGIE'S LIST.

FABULOUS! I GOT A QUICK QUOTE, AND CAREFUL EXPLANATIONS OF WHAT COULD GO WRONG (THEY MIGHT HAVE TO CHARGE ME BIG BUCKS TO REPLACE ROTTING WOOD). THEY DID NOT HAVE TO REPLACE THE WOOD, AND DID NOT CHARGE ME. GREAT SERVICE ALL THE WAY THROUGH. WORK WAS DONE QUICKLY. IT LOOKS GREAT, AND FOLLOW-UP WAS IMMEDIATELY (ADDRESS NUMBERS WERE TAKEN DOWN TO MAKE WAY FOR GUTTERING, I'D ASKED THAT THE ADDRESS NUMBERS BE REAPPLIED TO THE HOUSE, AND IT WAS DONE PERFECTLY). I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY.

ON TIME EVERY MORNING (6:45AM START) AND DID A QUALITY JOB WITH A TEDIOUS TASK. CLEANED UP ALL MATERIALS AND GAVE US THE EXTRA ALUMINUM WRAPPING. TWO WINDOWS WERE LEAKING BEFORE THE PROJECT, NONE HAVE LEAKED SINCE OVER THE LAST 2 YEARS. DID A GOOD JOB WITH THE DETAILS OF THE PROJECT.

COMPANY SAID THEY WOULD BE OUT TO MAKE AN ESTIMATE. IT TOOK THEM APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS TO COME OUT. OWNER CAME TOO. THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE AN ESTIMATE W/IN A WEEK. WE ARE STILL WAITING (OVER 10 DAYS). MEANWHILE, WE HAD A NEIGHBOR FIX THE PROBLEM.

RECEIVED ESTIMATE IN TIMELY & PROFESSIONAL MANNER.

I CONTACTED THEM ABOUT SOME GUTTER REPAIR/REPLACEMENT. THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE OUT TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE AND I NEVER HEARD A WORD FROM THEM. IF THEY WERE NOT WANTING TO DO THE JOB I WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED A PHONE CALL.

WHEN CAULKED CORNERS, ONE STILL LEAKED, BUT THEY DID NOT ASK FOR PAYMENT AND TOLD ME TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT RAIN TO SEE IF IT WAS FIXED. WHEN ONE CORNER CONTINUED TO LEAK, THEY RETURNED QUICKLY AND FIXED THIS. AGAIN WE WAITED FOR THE NEXT RAIN AND WHEN THERE WAS NO FURTHER LEAK, WE PAID THEM. RICHARD RAY (OWNER) WAS BUSINESS-LIKE AND FAIRLY RESPONSIVE, BUT HIS TWO WORKERS WERE GRUMPY ALTHOUGH QUITE CAREFUL OF NOT DAMAGING THE PLANTS AND BUILDING AND QUITE EFFICIENT.

VERY PROMPT, POLITE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE WHEN DISCUSSING THE PROBLEM WITH ME. UNFORTUNATELY, FOR THEM, THEY NEVER SUBMITTED A BID FOR THE REPAIRS.
