Same ownership since inception almost 30 years ago. High-quality workmanship performed by long-time, hourly employees. (Many contractors in the industry solely sub-contract.) We even have an in-house sheet metal crew for copper roofs, copper gutters, commercial gutter systems and other metal work. (We do use the same sub-contractor, since inception, for residential gutter replacement only.) RICHARDS ROOFING & EXTERIORS, INC. HAS RECEIVED ANGIE'S LIST SUPER SERVICE AWARD IN ROOFING CONTINUOUSLY FROM 2004 THROUGH 2018. This is more years than many of the other area roofing contractors have been in business ! Since we are affiliated with numerous major manufacturers offering various roofing systems, Richards Roofing and Exteriors is given the opportunity to utilize our experience and knowledge to specify the right system for each application and building owner. Description of Work: They made various repairs to my roof (couple of shingles, replaced flashing eaten by vermin etc). | |I had called them to get an estimate for a new roof which another company had said I needed immediately. Josh was willing to give me an estimate for a new roof, but said my current roof would last two to three years more, and gave me the estimate for the repairs only. When they came to do the repairs, the guy (don't remember his name) said that my roof should last three to five years with the repairs. He also said he's worked for Richardson for fourteen years and that the company treats their employees well - I appreciate knowing that not only (via other reviews) the company does good work and treats customers well, but also operates in a way that their employees appreciate.

Description of Work: Angie's List recommended that I put this report back onto the site. Several years ago I called this company for an estimate on repairing my roof. It was a relatively minor fix and the cost then was $100. The person coming out did a rotten job and I ended up calling another company. I placed a negative report on this site and then began receiving calls from the owner to "take off the bad report" because it was ruining his good rating with Angie's List. Not only did he call my house but sent me a note telling me he would refund my money. I was tired of hearing from him so I removed my report. Never got my money back nor did I hear from this guy again.

They did a great job.
Description of Work: I had a whole new roof put on, but they didn't do the piping and the flashing. Richard's Roofing came and did the piping and flashing for me to finish the roof.
