They were on time - The work was outstanding, very nice and informative and very professional and clean up was great.

They came out and did just a really good job with the windows. They made some window replacements and screen replacements after the hail storm. They were very reasonable priced.

They were punctual, efficient and a very good price.

I had called Penny Window to get an estimate on having some windows and storm doors installed. This occurred aprox. the first week of August. A representative came out on the day and time agreed on. He took the measurements on the windows in the two bathrooms and a window in bedrooms. I wish I had followed his advice and went with regular windows rather than storm windows in one of the bedrooms. He also took the measurements on two storm doors which needed to be replaced. I needed to go to Penny Window office to sign and pay half of the estimated charge for the window and doors. It took a few weeks for the windows and doors to be made but I was called to arrange a time for the workers to come and make the installations. Due to some family concerns I was not able to make the earlier appointment times we had arranged. But they did come out and do the installations as agreed upon and I am pleased with their work.

The overall experience was good and I would use them again. I had a good experience with the office personal from caling to get a bid, to placing the order, and scheduling the installation. I had an good experience with the bid process. The guy arrived right on-time and looked at the specific window and door that I had asked them to look at and he presented me my options. he stayed on point and addressed only the items I was asking about and answered all my questions. All and all the appointment last right around 30 mins. The installation went as expected. They guy showed up exactly on time and went to work on replacing the door and was considerate and asked me how I wanted him to come in and out of my house to his truck. Also as he installed the door he was using drop cloths and a shop vac clean up the debris as he went. The replacement of the glass took only minutes.

We obtained 3 estimates for replacement windows and all three were very good and had excellent ratings on Angie's list. We chose Penny Window (PW) because the window fit our needs best. The cost of the PW window was almost exactly the same as one of the other companies but the half screen of the other company's window did not move up to the top half of the window if we wanted to open it. The third company's price was a little higher but the window was a little better, too. Not what we needed, though. The installation was prompt and went excellently and I love the new windows. The only drawback I experienced was the written estimate we were provided at the time of the initial visit was not complete enough to be considered a good contract in my opinion so I called the company for a more detailed one. Communication with the company by phone and e-mail was excellent, however, and we were able to get a better contract agreed to and signed very quickly and conveniently. Good thing, too, because they had a different size inset grid pattern in mind than I did. They were very easy to work with and it turns out they were right about the size of the grid pattern. (9 over 9 instead of 12 over 12). The good thing about detailed contracts is each party knows what is expected and differences can be ironed out before work is done. I loved Penny Window and highly recommend them. (Some stranger at the car wash saw me looking at some flyers for PW and spoke right up to tell me how strongly he recommended them. He had used them, his parents had used them, and several neighbors had, too.

Removed broken glass from aluminum frame and took it to Penny for replacement with plexiglass. The frame is at least 40 years old, so I wasn't sure they'd be able to work with it, but they did. They replace the glass with aluminum and it looks very nice. The plexi is secure within the aluminum, as much as is possible. You can tell they really worked with it to make sure it would be secure and stay in place. The price was reasonable and I had the completed frame back in a week. Will definately use them again.

They were very reasonable and prompt. Very professional and exceeded expectations. They saved me a huge amount apposed to buying new windows.

The project went smoothly and in less time than estimated.

I had problems trying to find someone to fix the window, mostly because the job wasn't "large enough". No problem with Penny Window. They responded quickly and I was given an estimate of $185.00 for the work. I called later that day to tell them they had the job. It was explained that it would be approximately two weeks before the glass would come in. They called on a Saturday morning to schedule the replacement for the following Monday. They were prompt, both in doing the estimate and the installation. In less than an hour the window was fixed and it looks great. I would definitely use this company for any window problem I have. They were responsive, came when they said they would, and were very professional. Excellent company.

They were excellent all the way round. They were a terrific company.

It went very well. They are prompt at answering voice mail messages, scheduling convenient, called just before coming, and the work was very professionally completed. When the balances broke, they cracked the wooden window frame. The company does not repair that part so I just hot-glued it together. Worked fine. We have used this company several times since then for the same problem on other windows and have always been pleased. We will include them in the 3 or 4 companies we get estimates from when we replace windows soon.

The work was good. They were the most economical of the providers listed and the only one to come out pretty quickly.

It went very well. The quote took about an hour to be put together and it was fairly reasonable. The work started a month later due to some problem processing my card and availability on their part. The job took 2 days and they did a great job. The storm doors are of great quality, as well as the winter garden door and the basement windows.

The estimator was very professional and explained everything. There was about a 3 week wait as the window had to be ordered. The installer came out on a Saturday and spent about 1.5 hours. Eveything was cleaned up. The quality of the window looks very good. The installation was excellent, including new flashing on the outside of the house. I'm very satisfied with this job.

They came on time, and cleaned up after themselves, very curtitous. very happy.

Aside from the glitch of no one contacting me to inform me as to the cost, the work went smoothly. Given that I had had very good experiences with them in the past, I would not hold this one glitch against them and would use them again in the future.

The Penny Window's guy called before he came and was polite and professional.He examined the window, and made an estimate right on the spot. Due to the man-hours required, though, fixing the window was only about $120 less than just replacing the darn thing (he gave me an estimate for that, too, once he saw the look of disappointment on my face). He confirmed my understanding of the workings of the weights so that in the end, we could make the fix ourselves.

They arrived on-time for a scheduled visit for measuring and a cost estimate. I was provided with an estimate for all work, which included a couple inexpensive parts for the window that wouldn't open at no extra cost (I was only charged for the cost of the new window and its installation). About two weeks later, they arrived on-time for the window installation and repair. The repair was completed successfully, but due to unforeseen issues with the installation of the new window, it too was cracked by the installer and another slightly smaller window was immediately ordered. I was not charged for this cracked new window. Note, although I understand this installer was frustrated with the situation, he had a poor attitude and was not paying attention to details. Another two weeks later, they arrived on-time for the second attempt at the window installation. This time was successful, and this installer was very professional and paid close attention to details.

My wife and I had MAJOR damage due to storms that hit St. Charles County in June of 2011 our roof and siding was a complete loss. We called Penny Window to bid the job right from the start it was a good experence Floyd and Joe showed up the next day they were very professional and friendly. They gave us a straight forward bid we were happy with the price and explanation of the work to be done we had them bid our windows, gutters, soffit and fascia as well as the shutters. Out of the 3 bids we got they were the middle bid. After we hired them, they came back to our house with samples and product information. They ordered the materials and were back at our house within 10 days. Scott and Dave were the two installers that did the job from start to finish. They were also very professional and knowledgeable. Always willing to explain what they were doing and to answer any questions we had, as well as make any helpful suggestions. They always showed up when they said they were going to be here and the yard was always cleaned up at the end of the day. After the job was finished Floyd and Joe returned to check over the work and make sure we were satisfied. It has now been 6 months and we had another storm and had a piece of fascia blew off and was bent. We called Floyd and Joe to let them know we needed them to check it out. Dave was here the next day to check it out and order the piece. They made the repairs at no charge to us and checked over the rest of the house. We are extremely happy with this contractor, that we have just had them give us a bid and have accepted the bid for a new 20 x 12 deck. We will do another review when it is complete.

I would recommend them. They were prompt and everything was done just the way I wanted it. I felt very comfortable with them.

We will consider Penny Window again for possible future needs.

Penny Window estimated it all (quite affordable) and took on this hodge-podge of work. The man who did the initial estimate listened to all my window problems and offered me solutions. The man who did the work was arrived on time, was professional, efficient and the windows all look and work great. No leaking, the caulk looks great. The windows that were 1/2 installed before no function better -- I suspect they were not level or plumb. Penny Window fixed that. Very affordably.

They were on time and completed professionally. However, it took time to get the Angie's List discount from the coupon. Then, the discount was for the materials only, and not the labor.
