We called in the morning. They said they would come the same afternoon and called before they came over. The individual installing the garage door was very nice, polite, and efficient. He did everything we asked for and explained everything very thoroughly. We were very impressed!

We called their 24-hour line and a guy was here the next day. The problem was fixed promptly and the door is much quieter now, too.

Required two follow-up calls. Day of installation follow-up was to adjust spring tension on smaller door. One week later a service call was required to diagnose and then adjust installation, including replacement of damaged panel. Both calls were due to installer error, but follow-up was quick and professional. We are very satisfied with the doors and operation now.

Everything went as planned. They came out when I called to tell them I had a problem. Once they got here they knew they weren't going to be able to just fix it, so they were able to get me a door the next day and get it installed.

They took off 5 percent for being an Angie's List member. The thing I was happiest with is that they were here the day after I called. They did the job. They did it well and fast. I would use them again.

They came to do the measuring on time and they also came out and did the install at the agreed time. It went well and they explained the installation to me.

We have had them before at our previous house. They always do a fabulous job. They were very punctual very pleasant and very professional.

I was very satisfied with the prompt and courteous service I received. Everyone involved was knowledgeable and seemed to genuinely want to help.

They came out on a semi emergency basis. I called them and asked for the soonest appointment and they got me in the next day. They came when they said they would and even called ahead of time to let me know they were on the way. I was very happy with the service and they even explained things to me and gave me some suggestions.

The doors were/are beautiful, we get many compliments on them. The salesman and installer were very professional and helpful. We had a great experience with this company.

They did an okay job installing the door, and they were basically on time and the price was what they said it would be. But they did not clean up after themselves. I had to sweep up bolts and had to clean off greasy fingerprints from the new garage door.

Technician arrived on time and corrected the two problems.

After two shots at reinforcing a bowing (cheap) garage door, first in Spring 2007 and the second time in April 2008, by Overhead Door, it was determined (mid-May 2008) that the door needed to be replaced because it was binding too much and looked to be on the verge of bowing again. We stopped by Overhead's showroom to ask for a look at the door because the garage door could no longer lift the door (manually could be done). They were able to send someone out within the hour to look. When the service person arrived, he looked at the door, checked the binding and recommended options, including replacing the door. He provided several door options and recommendations, with detail. Pricing was reasonable between options. Very knowledgeable and patience with my many questions. We agreed to go with a door, and made an appointment to come out two business days later. I was not home, but my wife was. The service person was friendly and courteous. The old door was removed and the new door, and associated hardware was installed very quickly. Clean up was great and directions for maintaining were clear. The door itself looks great. It is solid and installed very well. [NOTE: Marked down overall score on the service call for the last reinforcement of the old door because of the lack of explanation and recommendation before reinforcement installation. The score for this write up does not include a mark down; no double dipping.

It is very shoddy workmanship. The door doesn't really fit. Instead of coming back with a new door and fixing it, he sort of jerry-rigged the existing door. I purchased a replacement remote for the door which also does not work. They overcharged me for the remote by about $40.

We called and they came out the same day. The service man showed my husband where the problem was (he had run into the door several times with his car) and showed him where the door was wearing and that it didn't have a long future ahead of it. He put a temporary fix on it in the form of a metal brace, left us brochures for new doors and showed my husband which he recommended and why. Since we just had to replace our air conditioner yesterday, we've put off ordering a new door, but we will get it from them when we buy one. My daughter used them last year to put in a new garage door and was extremely pleased with it.

They were on time. They were professional. They were courteous and kind. I would use them in the future. They were personable. The quality of their work was good.

Mr. Dan Stein, the workman assigned to my contract, arrived as scheduled, was extremely courteous, and performed his job flawlessly. I was very impressed with his skills, knowledge, and pride in workmanship. He started the job, and kept working until completion ( though completely by himself). Overhead Door company should note that Mr. Dan Stein is a consummate professional , and a valued addition to any company! I was dismayed to learn that Overhead Door was requiring Mr. Stein to use his personal vehicle to perform Company business, and appalled at the compensation afforded him for doing so! The management could either afford him a company truck, or pay him per mile. My overall experience with Overhead Door can be summed up as completely satisfactory, from the salesman, to the contract, delivery, and installation of the product. I would make this comment page a "POH", if only I knew how! Readers of this summary would do well to request Mr. Stein to do your installation, if you require prompt professional service!

I called in the morning, the service man was out before 10:30 and completed the work quickly the same day. He inspected the doors and made recommendations. He did what the scheduler said he would do. I didn't feel I was being pushed to buy "extras" or to have unnecessary work performed. Larry was polite to me and patient with my children.

They did the work in one day. These guys were clean and polite and did just fine.

Quick and clean! Color matched perfectly. They were able to install the doors just a few days after giving the estimate. Very pleased.

I called at 8:30 am, they were able to come out by 10:30am. Rainy day, arrived on time, finished all work within 1 and 1/2 hours. Stopped half way through to let me know status of door opener motor so I could decide what to do. Showed me stripped gear when work was completed.

The technician tightened, adjusted, and performed the safety upgrades I needed on two older wood garage doors. He was prompt, professional, and worked quickly to complete the job. The price was exactly what I expected.

He was very fair. My door is very old and I thought it would need to be replaced but he told me I'd be able to get by with it a little longer. I thought that was just great. I would absolutely use them again.

I called Overhead on Saturday AM. Originally Overhead office indicated they could not be out until Monday morning but I asked if there were any cancellations I would appreciate it if they could get out today (Saturday). They called back after about 30 minutes and indicated they could be out between 10 and 2. Bob called prior to coming and arrived around 1:15 or so. Bob was courteous and efficient. He even programmed our van so it would operate the garage door opener. It took him about 2 minutes to do this and it would have taken me at least an hour. I did not even know the van had the capability. It frees up the availability of one of our remotes. They honored the Angie's List coupon which saved me about $8.

Contacted company based upon advertising. Estimator arrived timely on November 7 and provided price of $1500 for new door, track, and opener including labor and haul away of old material. Scheduled installation for following Tuesday (13 November). Received call from company on Friday indicating that installer would arrive between 10 AM and 2 PM on Tuesday. After reviewing Angie's List and noting that company offered a discount to List members, contacted the company on Monday and inquired about discount. Sales rep indicated that the discount only applied to the "retail" price and since he was sure the estimator had provided a price below the retail level, no discount would be applied. I expressed my displeasure. Installer arrived at 2:10 on November 13 and completed installation by 5:30. He explained and demonstrated mechanics of the door. Work was done well and area was cleaned and all trash hauled away.
