It went very well. They sent someone out quickly, and he was right on time. Before, it seemed like our garage door was falling apart, and now it works great! Fair price too.

I am quite disappointed. Given their reputation on Angie's List and the added plus that they offer specials on service, I made "Overhead Door Company" my first choice to call for repair of a retaining seal on a garage door. I called and explained to the receptionist that I needed a quote on a minor garage door repair. She got some information from me, and transferred me to another woman. I had to explain again to this different woman the reason for my call, and she then, for some reason, put me into the voicemail of a man who was with "Sales". Very odd, I thought. I left a message, explaining that I thought the call may have been misunderstood from both people I previously talked to? but then left the message and information to get a call back with a quote. My phone call has not been returned. I have since decided to go with another major local competitor of "Overhead Door Company" and they were very responsive on the phone, and I have an appointment set up for them to effect the repairs. Really disappointed that my simple request was not followed through on by 3 people at "Overhead Door Company", and thus would not recommend them.

I was extremely pleased with the technician. He arrived on time and was very courteous in his interaction with me. He explained what was wrong with my garage opener and he actually showed me the worn out gear. He performed a visual maintenance check on the parts of the garage opener and the garage door. The technician made sure that every thing was working properly.

They were very good. They did the job efficiently and professionally.

They are very good. My garage door is older and they give me a pretty good deal. I use them every other year. I was grateful that he picked up the repair on the ball bearings. The price is pretty good. They come on schedule and they are prompt. I plan to use them in the future.

On a very cold morning, my double garage door wouldn't open more than half an inch. I called Overhead Door around 9:30 AM and a service man (John) arrived at 2:30 PM. As it turned out, the door gasket had frozen to the floor. As John worked on the door we discussed replacing the gaskets on both doors - the double and a single - and the age and reliability of both openers. John estimated that the double door opener was about 25 years old and we discussed the cost of replacing it. While he did some routine maintenance I checked the records of the former owner and confirmed the age of the opener. John quoted a reasonable price for a new opener and, since things like that never fail at a convenient time, I had him install it on the spot. He was finished by 5:00. The installation was clean and professional and the new opener works much more smoothly and quietly than the old one. When the weather warms up, I'll call Overhead Door to replace the door gaskets. They were prompt and professional and I'll use them again for any other garage door problems.

My garage door key pad and remotes on my old garage doors were not working correctly. Overhead Door had been recommended to me by a friend, and their praise was certainly merited. The woman who answered their phone suggested a couple of things for me to try in case I could fix it myself, and and that really impressed me! However, nothing seem to work so I made the appointment. The technician called ahead of time to let me know he was on the way. He repaired several different problems in the mechanism and installed bars across the top of the doors that were starting to bend. He was very professional and expert. I recommend Overhead Door for any garage door problem.

It was fine. I contacted them and they made an appointment. They came out when they said. They were on time. It was just one guy that came out and did the whole job. He showed up when he said at 8 or 9 in the morning, and I thought he would be there all day, and he was done by noon or so. I was amazed that he was done as quick as he was.

Called them at 11:35a, and Mike arrived at my home by 12:10p, and I'm 20 miles from their business. Work was finished by 1:10p. Garage door works perfectly now, and is quieter than before. Received a 10% discount by having him do preventive maintenance on the other 2 doors, something I had been wanting to have done anyway. He did an excellent job, was very thorough and extremely nice. Would definitely hire again!

It went very well. They were going to schedule service the same day, but that was not convenient for me. They gave me a window of 8-12 and he called right at 8 to say he was on his way. He was very friendly and professional. He performed the repairs efficiently and the price was very reasonable. I will definately use Overhead Door again if we have any garage door repairs that need to be done.

Late Friday evening we returned home, had both cars in the garage, and heard a terrible crash sound when we lowered the garage door. Upon inspection, it was apparent that the nails holding the bar channel had come lose from the house. I disengaged the chain mechanism and managed to get the door open and cars out. I called to see when Overhead could come out. Answer was "tomorrow morning, unless it is an emergency." I said it was not an emergency since I was able to get cars out. Saturday morning they arrived on time, installed several large bolts instead of using nails assomeone had done before, and in about 45 minutes the job was done, in addition to lubricating the door rollers and re-checking the entire mechanism for proper operation.

After the spring broke we logged into OHDC after checking them out on Angies list on the afternoon of August 23. We received a confirmation email on the morning of August 24 at 7:30 am. The serviceman showed up before midday. He discussed the options and cost including door replacement. We decided just to change the spring. He replaced the springs in 2 hours. Everything was straightforward and uncomplicated. Excellent response and service.

Original call was to just replace weather stripping but the technician found a crack in a part while inspecting the loose chain. The technician did a great job. My one recommendation is that on the invoice in addition to itemizing the service and parts, to show the cost for each line item. In reviewing the invoice after the call, it was not possible to see the cost of each item or the application of my 5% Angies List discount.

He then gave me an estimate . When the quote was accepted, he proceeded to do his work efficiently. He also reset the code in my van for me and explained how to reset the codes on the garage door opener and about the warranty . I got to use the 5% discount advertised on Angies list , so the cost was a little lower than the actual price.He was very professional. In all, I will recommend this company for their prompt and professional service and will use their service again if needed.

I am extremely pleased with the rapid response, and the excellent repair of the problem. The repairman, John, quickly determined the cause and had the necessary replacement part with him. I was impressed with John's technical skills and his professionalism! I am a totally satisfied customer!!!

Ron came to evaluate the problem. Did not have the proper equipment with him. He returned promptly the next day and performed the work.

I thought they were very responsive, knowledgable and their prices seemed okay.

Exceptionally. I called at 9 PM last night, a real person answered their 24 hour line, asked if I wanted emergency service (which costs more) or would I like someone to call me in the morning. I chose the latter, and at 7:10 AM the next morning they called. I described my issue, they had someone at my house before 10 AM. He was skilled at his trade, and within 2 hours it was repaired and working great.

They were very compitent and very nice. They did an excellent job. However, we were not as happy with the electrical work as we were with the rest of their services.

They were here twice. They ended up ordering some parts so that took a couple of weeks to arrive. They were professional and punctual.
