The work they had to do was not very sophisticated, but they did a good job replacing the light and I would use them again in the future.

Called Overhead door company and immediately spoke to a professional knowledgeable person who identified what I needed and what it would take to get the job done. This was the second company I called. The first gave me a $49.00 service call and said $78.00 an hour labor, plan on 1 to 2 hours for the completion. When I called Overhead door he said the job would take about 20 to 40 minutes and they would charge $32.00 every 20 minutes, NO service call fee! When the tech arrived he said he could have this job done in less than 20 minutes. OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE!

They did a great job. They came in very quickly and were very responsive. They did the job professionally. Everything has been fine since.

25 year old door system broke down and needed replaced. I got a estimate on a Thur afternoon, same day I called but the door was unable to be installed until Monday so my garage sat open over the weekend. They offered to come in a do part of the job Fri but could not guarantee complete installation or that they would even get there. They had a better quality door system than the other three compainies I talked too and were slightly cheaper or the same. They showed up on time Monday morning and were finished before noon. I would reccomend these people for garage door system replacement. It would have been totally excellent if they could have fixed it before the weekend but when the did come they did it quickly and removed the old dooor

Workman arrived whenhe promised, priv=ce was as agreed, and we hav been very pleased with the unit. It is much quieter than our previous unit. When a small component was replaced in the old unit at first and blew out, at their expenses, that was tried again before recommending a new unit.

Overhead Door is very convenient for me. They could come out and try to sell me something but they never do, they tell me if it is good and tell me what I do and do not need to do.

Needed new garage door, they came out same day I called and gave a very reasonable estimate. They were able to replace my door the very next day. Work done was excellent and would most definitely recommend this company and would use them again.

Our garage door opener was not working. We called Overhead Door Company the next morning. We told them we didn't know if the opener needed to be fixed or if we needed a new one. We were told the repair person would check it out and that he would have a brochure on doors if we needed to buy a new one one. He came that afternoon and said major repair was needed. We decided to get a new door. Someone from the company called that night to say they would be there in the morning. to install the new door. He came as expected and installed the door. The work was done quickly and efficiently. We are quite satisfied with the quality of workmanship and the appearance of the new door. The experience was a positive one for us since everything was taken care of so well and so quickly.

This company is AWESOME! I called the company for an appointment at 11:30 am. By 1:30 pm the service person had left and my garage door was fixed and back in service. If you do the math, that's a TOTAL of 2 HOURS from INITIAL CALL to FIXED! The repair person called me at noon to say he was on his way. Thirty minutes later he arrived at my problem garage door. Within 5 minutes of his arrival he determined that a lift wire had broken on my garage door and had to replace it. He worked on it for about an hour to straighten out the door, reattached a guide wheel that fell off the door, and replaced the broken lift wire. He called me out to verify my garage door was working properly. During the test it hung up a little. Before I had a chance to say "That looks like a problem!" he said "That's not right" and was investigating the problem. He was prepared to take the entire garage door apart, instead he found some tubing by the garage door that had fallen into the track and caused the door to rumble and jump. He was very pleasant and determined not to leave until I was completely satisfied. What made this more remarkable was the fact that outside it was 105 degrees - inside the garage it must have been at least 120 degrees. Dos and Don'ts - DO call this company with any garage door problem. DON'T wait to call them. From my experience, I believe they are an HONEST company! This service person could have told me I needed a new garage door (that would have cost me $2,000). Instead he immediately pinpointed the problem and fixed it. He didn't complain about the heat. He didn't hesitate when a problem (which had nothing to do with his repair work) developed during testing. I wish I could get this company to do all the repair work around my house because they have earned MY TRUST! Which, nowadays, is something that rarely happens.

They were able to get the work done within four days of when I first contacted them, which I greatly appreciated. Both the salesmen who provided the estimate and the installer arrived on time and were very professional. The installation took about 3 and a half hours, and the new door looks and works great.

Our spring broke on our old door and when we forced the old door open to get our cars out, the door began very bad cracking and disintegrating at rusty areas. We called Overhead and they sent an estimator out the next morning. He told me the options and the estimate for a new door/spring. I called them later to confirm I would like them to do the job, and they scheduled me for the very next morning. They gave me a window of about an hour (nice and small, which is great) for when they would arrive. They arrived and began work. About 2.5 hours later, they were done, and the door looked great and functioned well. They were very professional, and I would use them again if I needed to.

We did not have to be home for the service, which was good. Problem is not entirely corrected, but it does work better

He arrived on time and went directly to the garage behind the house. Worked extremely quickly , gave me my bill and left. The garage door was fixed and is working as it should.

Outstanding....on time, reasonably priced, excellent attention to detail....did more than expected (carpentry, framing) in a very professional manner. Got someone out for an estimate in one day; did work within a week...Very highly recommended

They did a good job. Originally they came and changed my garage door opener. They then came and did a temporary fix for a crack in our garage door, in which case he put in a metal brace to fix the problem. I got an appointment within two hours of calling. He came and did his job and was very helpful. He was able to take my credit information through a swipe system that he had.

I have nothing but the highest compliments for the service technicians -- they did a great job (TWICE!) The first installer was sent out with the wrong color door!!! I didn't discover this error until he had removed the old door, and he said he'd have to go ahead and install the wrong one and come back another day to replace it with the right color door! Since I had taken a day off from work to be home for the installation, I wasn't at all thrilled about having to lose another day, but I agreed to have my wife be home two days later "any time after 11:00 AM". The second installer showed up that day at 7:00AM, having been told by the service department that I was expecting him at this time, My wife graciously agreed to cancel her morning appointment and stay home so I could go to work. The technician did a beautiful job on the installation of the second, and now correct, door. I have been their customer for door service for a number of years and have always been very pleased with the quality of the repair work, so I felt confident that I would be treated well, and fairly. Nice products and competent service people, but the office staff has left me with a bad impression and I would be very cautious about recommending them on the basis of my experience. I don't know who was at fault for the color error (MY copy of the original proposal was correct), but there is obviously some serious mis-communication going on. I suppose an apology for our inconvenience would be expecting too much, but I take my revenge in that they had to install two doors and I only had to pay for one! I'm sure I'll call them again when I need door service, but I'll do so with my fingers crossed.

My Garage door jammed and would not open. I checked it myself and found that it appeared to be jammed at the sprocket on the opener, with alot of tension on the side away from the door attachment. There was slack on the side attached to the door. I tried to get it to go myself to no avail, and before I did something I regretted, thought it was time to call a professional. I had used Overhead Door in the past and called. They had a tech there within a couple of hours, and he removed the stop bolt from the rail (What I was going to do but thought might cause more problems). This freed up the mechanism. He did an adjustment for for the chain tension and oiled the rollers etc. He was done in 15-20 min from start to finish. When this 1950's vintage door needs replacing (Overhead door original with the house), I'll be calling back.

Appointment window was between 12 - 5 which is ridiculously too long. Even the cable company can give two hour windows now so they really need to tighten up their schedule. Called company as a recommendation via Angie's list and they were able to come out the same week and provided an estimate over the phone which was accurate. Asked that they call 30 minutes prior to arrival. On day of service I called Overhead at 4:50 pm after waiting nearly five hours for them to arrive. Service lady explained appointments are between 12:00 - 4:00 which is not what I was told when booking the service but she would check on the tech. After a short hold I was informed the tech was finishing up with his last assignment and would be on his way shortly. Received call at 5:02 pm from tech "John" that he was 15 minutes away. Arrived, introduced himself, asked a few questions and immediately started work. He was very friendly, professional, and offered advice on how to perform preventative maintenance. I asked about the key pad and he had one on the truck which he installed, programmed, and showed me how to make changes to it. After completing the work I informed John that I had an Angie's list coupon for 5 percent off. He accepted the coupon but then gave me 10 percent off because he was late. I found this fair and it was nice of him to do it even though it wasn't asked for or expected. WhiheI was disappointed with the schedule window and wait time, the tech, John really saved the day with his personality and professionalism.

Was given a time of about 10AM and received call at 6:45 AM to come out to do the repair. Arrived at 7:15 precisely as he estimated. Considering we don't normally get up this early in the morning since we work from home, it was a bit early to receive a call ... but we appreciate the door getting fixed so quickly. Ed was very knowledgable and friendly. Completed the repair in about 30 minutes ... much quicker than I would have anticipated. I particularly liked the professional receipt that fully documented what was done as well as the checks that were also completed.

The gentleman was professional and helpful. It was inexpensive. We did do have a cold snap after we serviced the spring on our garage door and one of them broke. We didn't call him back though. They are old springs so I don't know that it was anything that they did. It was just coincidence that it happened very quickly after we had this service done from them. We would use them again in the future.

They did an excellent job at performing the required repairs. Both doors they worked on are much quieter and smoother in operation. They rewired to get rid of old splices and dangling wires from prior owners of our house and everything looks much better.
