Work was done quickly and professionally. The price was quite reasonable - it included parts and labor. Brad was the plumber and he did a good job of explaining what he was going to do as well as the risks. Afterwards, he reviewed the job and left the site cleaner than he found it. Can't wait for some plumbing problems so I can call them again!

Had been putting off relatively minor plumbing problems for the year and a half since buying our house, as I really hate dealing with plumbing. From the time I called through the entire time Brian from Maplewood was working on our house, the entire experience made me question why I had put it off so long. Used to being looked down upon and/or taken for a ride for not knowing specifics about plumbing or plumbing terms in the past, my experience with Maplewood was 100% positive. I was able to explain the problems in layman's terms, and Brian knew exactly what I was talking about, and had all five issues fixed in less than two hours. He explained what he did to me in terms I can understand and encouraged me to follow up with them if the problems popped up in the future, as they could be indicative of a larger problem. I appreciated the straightforwardness of the whole process, and now I love knowing that I won't have to or want to put off future plumbing problems, because I've found one that I trust completely.

Great service. Identified the problem quickly. Repaired the broken regulator. Tested the water pressure in all the faucets to ensure everything was working. Cleaned up and left.

Our Moen faucet in the kitchen was getting difficult to move side to side and was leaking excessively on lower volumes. It was installed by the builder in 2004. We did not receive any papers on the faucet at time time. We called Maplewood Plumbing and explained the problem to Janice in the office. We were resigned to the fact that we would have to get the faucet from the company installing a new one. Janice told us that Moen has a lifetime guarantee on their products and gave us the Moen website to get replacement parts or the entire assembly from the company. We checked the website and, because we did not have a model number, took pictures of our faucet and e-mailed as directed. After receiving our communication, Moen called and asked specific questions about our issues. They decided to replace the entire faucet. We were so grateful to Janice for giving us that important information. Maplewood Plumbing could have sold us another faucet as part of the installation and we would have never known about Moen's guarantee. After receiving the new faucet we called Maplewood Plumbing about the installation. We were given a price of $125 and made a January 25th appointment. Will showed up at the exact arranged time and worked efficiently and neatly. We were charged as quoted. We were extremely satisfied with the advice and the service. We will definitely call Maplewood the next time we need plumbing services and will recommend them to others.

Great! Brian was on time, efficient, and friendly. The woman who answered the phone was also wonderful to work with...very helpful and knowledgable. Called on a Friday afternoon and they fit us in right away Monday morning. Thank you!

Called Janice the week before work was done; someone came out the very next day to give an estimate (Friday) and, after contemplating it over the weekend, called back on Monday and the work was completed within 2 days. The owner's son came out and did the work and he was pleasant and professional and even helped me with the homeowner's insurance lady who was trying to determine the amount my insurance would pay. With English not being my first language, I really appreciated him taking the phone call and explaining exactly what he did for my insurance agent. The whole experience with Maplewood Plumbing was great; the only thing they could do better is work with a plasterer who is a little more responsive. They recommended a plasterer to me who called back immediately to schedule the work. We hired them and they came out to fix our walls. One of them was not fixed well, so I called and left a message a couple of weeks ago, and I am still waiting for a call back. So: Don't hesitate to hire Maplewood Plumbing, but do your homework before using the plasterer they recommend!

Our water heater went out over the weekend and we waited until Monday morning to call - hoping that they could get to it ASAP. They were able to be there at 8am and it was fixed by the end of the day!!! Will was great - he dealt with Whirlpool for us (under warranty still - so parts were free but there were hoops to jump through to get them). We are SOOO happy we found Maplewood Plumbing last year when we needed a water line for our ice maker put in so that when something like this happened we were able to know who to call and who to trust. They are so quick, helpful, reasonably priced, knowledgable, and more. We'll be calling them for every plumbing need (including a new outside faucet when the weather gets warmer!).

It was a good experience. The plumber was punctual, polite, confident, and knowledgable. It is such a relief to have professionals that can identify and fix your problems.

They came out the same day when we called. They seem to be comparable to what some of the others were charging. They gave us a 20 dollar coupon too. They were nice and polite and everything.

They turned out to be the best. They were a small company of two young guys, and there might have been a few others, but they were really knowledgeable. They didn't complain about working on residential which is real typical of plumbers since they hate doing faucets and toilets and would much rather do industrial work where you have all brand new stuff. They were informative and they really helped. I gave their names to several other people in the condominium. They seemed to understand that customer service was the number one thing they were doing in just being reliable and showing up. They were good.

Will at Mapelwood was very nice and explained all that he was doing. Very friendly and professional. He did an excellent job and was fast. He completed his work and cleaned up prioe to leaving. We will use Maplewood again and recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services.

Starting with my call to Janice to set up the appointment, and finishing with Brian's work at our home, we have nothing but praise. Our old house, built in 1924, was in capable hands. We had a number of things that we wanted addressed, most notably an outdoor water faucet that dripped from both the spout and from behind the faucet. Brian also took care of a number of shut-offs that didn't fully turn off. Brian didn't mind me watching the work, and I learned a lot. (Just one example: I learned was that after the water is turned back on after it's been turned off, it's important to let the water in slowly.) Brian also took time (without adding a charge to the bill) to check over our kitchen faucet, which had too much play in it after I'd changed a cartridge recently. He had me call Moen to get some new parts under warranty--the customer must make the call for Moen to send them free--and the new parts should help. Maplewood Plumbing clearly understands customer service! We're happy we've got a new plumber to rely on in the future.

I called 3 plumbers from Angie's list to give me bids to do some work in the 2 bathrooms in the 45-year-old condo that I have inherited. They were all good, but there was something about Brian's approach to things that made me know immediately that I was going to use Maplewood Plumbing. The work was as follows: The faucets in both tubs were held together with masking tape, one tub faucet constantly leaked, and the cold water in one of the tubs was getting very difficult to turn on and off. From the very first call made, every person I dealt with at Maplewood Plumbing was fabulous. Janice, the Office Manager, was professional, friendly, and accommodating, no matter how many times I called and how many questions I asked. When Brian came out to give me my estimate, he was on time and I really liked that he asked questions that explored all the details of what I was expecting and the type of plumbing that he was going to be working with. I live in a 45-year-old condo and all the plumbers from whom I received estimates thought they would probably have to turn off the plumbing to all 30 units in the building in order to repair the tub problems. Brian determined that the valves under the vanity sink in the bathrooms also turned off the tub water. Although I had left notes alerting all the condo units that they would they would lose their water for 4 hours the day the work was being done, nobody had to lose their water at all. In fact, I even still had my kitchen water on the whole time Brian and Brad were here. The day of the work, Maplewood Plumbing sent out two plumbers so that the job could be completed in one day instead of the two days that it would have taken if only one plumber was here. That saved me money. I had requested that Brian be the plumber working the job, and he brought Brad. Both of them were knowledgeable and courteous. They cleaned up after the job was over and everything looks beautiful and works great. The estimate was right on target and cost exactly what they said it would. I would definbitely use them again and I plan to recommend them to anyone I know who is contemplating plumbing work.

This job went very well. Will, the owner provided me with one of three plumber estimates that I sought for the job. Will, the owner (or the owner's son) was prompt, professional, helpful, kind and very nice. Brian, the plumber whom Will sent to do the work was marvelous. I am very lucky to have had such nice and such high quality professional people working in my home on this project. When I need more plumbing work ... it is Maplewood Plumbing that I shall call.

Our recreation room toilet was running out of control. Worse still, the shut off valve was "frozen" open. At the time I was not an Angie subscriber. We were forced to close the main valve leaving us with only one cold water faucet in the whole house. I had heard some good advertisements about Angie's List and decided to give it a try. I signed for four years as that was the best price. I read some impressive reports about Maplewood Plumbing and made an appointment. I'm very happy about the whole experience.

Appt was for 9:30. Plumber arrived promptly. I showed him our leaky faucet. He recommended replacement as the faucet was rather old and he could not guarantee that a repair would be long lasting or cost effective. He arranged for his colleague to return a few hours later after I had time to get a new faucet. Brian came around 1:00. He was very pleasant and worked quickly. I am very pleased with the results.

I emailed them through Angie's List and received a prompt reply. The phone call to select a service date was quick, professional and warm. I have never had that positive a phone experience with a business. The work was done well and I got an explanation of what was done and what to do in the future.

The plumber showed up on time. He was courteous and took the time to explain what he was doing and was careful not to make a mess. In replacing both shutoff valves under the kitchen sink and unclogging the kitchen faucet, a connection on the faucet was broken. It wasn't clear if this was due to a handling mistake by the plumber or if the faucet (9-yrs old) was due for replacement anyway. The plumber was honest and open about what happened and allowed me to go buy a new fixture at Home Depot. He came back later that afternoon and finished the job for a reasonable overall price for the time spent and work accomplished. He also took time to show me what parts I needed and what I needed to do to repair a leaky bathroom faucet by myself.

The crew at Maplewood plumbing was fantastic! They provided me with a schedule of work, told me exactly what it would cost, worked with my through some house renovations, and performed the work to exceed code in Webster Groves. They were fantastic. After each day of work, they cleaned the area they were working in, made sure there was water and gas within the house, and were a pleasure to deal with. I would hire this crew for any work to be done within my house.

I was satisfied with their services. They were quite reasonable on the price. They came when they said they would. They did a good job. The inspector seemed happy with it after they were done. They were professional about it. I was pleased. I looked them up along with other local plumbers on Angie's List and came up with a list of contenders. I then looked them all up on Better business Bureau. I chose only the ones that were rated very highly and asked them for bids on the job, so I limited my choices to those. I also checked with the Plumbing Industry Council to make sure that they were members of that either at the local or state level.
