Lawn Masters

We have paid our invoice in full; but allow me a few moments to discuss the service we received. First, the lawn was poorly aerated. In the time of ring and other security cameras, it is very easy to go back and watch video of the quality of work performed in the yard. Many portions of the yard were skipped with respect to aeration and overseeding. The portions of the yard that were overseeded were barely covered. The aeration quality was extremely poor as well. However, the biggest issue was that one of the workers collided with the siding on the house, putting several large gashes in the siding. The entire piece of siding was moved and slid away from the house. It will require repair to fix the siding. When the office was called, they dismissed the damage, the poor quality in overseeding and aeration. When the supervisor came out, he was equally as unprofessional and dismissive, upsetting my wife to the point where she left and went inside. We will not be using your service again. great service, reasonable price, arrived when they said. I am on an annual contract.

The problems are that they mow the lawn too short, and the guy with the string mower scalps the grass down to the dirt. I've talked with both the men and the person in the office about this, but it isn't any better. I'm about to fire them.

They were fine. The fertilizing was okay. They didn't do that great a job at that. They cut the lawn thoroughly. They were quite responsive when they needed to be.

We like their services. Their work is very good. I recommend them to family and friends.

They are my regular service provider, and I am very pleased with them. I talked with the young man who came out to do the service, and I asked him about the fertilizer. I have a star magnolia at the corner of the house, and I can carry water to them, but there are some which are far back out. We need to have acid treatment for the magnolias. We have used them for years now. They have tried to respond to my requests and question in a reasonable time, and they have been able to meet my needs. I think their prices are very reasonable, and my shrubbery service is very reasonable.

They are not good, they are bad. One day I was home, and I somebody knocked on the door. I did not open, because I knew it was them, and I wanted to watch them. He only did a little bit on the front yard, and then didn't even do the back yard, and left. When I called the company, the manager gave me a hard time, and they accused me of lying, but I was home. I stopped the service right away. The manager gave me attitude when I called to complain about the employees. Their price is average like everybody else. I wanted to find out how they do their job, and saw that they didn't do it all. They always show up on the day that they are supposed to.

I’ve been using them for 7 years. I had an issue with their punctuality but they did a good job.

They were pretty good and prompt on their service.

Excellent. The owner Scott, takes customer satisfaction personally. I am very particular about my lawn and have been a customer of theirs for 6+ years. If there is a rare concern it is managed immediaetly and always to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend lawn Masters.

The weekly service is one we could always depend on. They showed up with enough equipment and people to do the job efficiently and quickly too. They were always helpful with special requests like please cut the grass a little shorter this time or leave it a little longer this time etc. Workers were always businesslike yet very friendly. Loved the front office as well as calls were answered quickly. I can't say enough about Lawn Masters Good Service!

The yard looks great. Lawn Master fertilizes, aereates and seeds.

Cut my lawn on Wednesday of each week. Provided weed control as requested. Increased their rate to based on grass usage. I did not like that at all so I changed services

They came every Tuesday rain or shine. When we were moving I had some additional things I wanted done. They did it and the price was reasonable. I was very happy with them.

They do a great job, every week and leave the yard looking perfect. I do wish they would let me know if there are any problems, i.e. excessive water, fungus, etc., but they do a great job of mowing

Used provider for 4 years +. Lawn progressively poorer looking. When we call they come back out to spray but nothing really looks any better. Takes awhile to get someone to come back out to evaluate the lawn. Not really a bad provider, just not one we feel is giving us the best.

Have used for several years. Very reliable. Does good work.

I signed up for their Annual Lawn Care Program which is for 7 months with fertilizing every month, plus pre-emergent the 1st month and broadleaf weed control, for the next 5 months. The price was good. My lawn looks green, probably partly from the fertilizer and partly because I've been following their recommendations on cutting length and watering. However, parts of my lawn were heavily infested with clover and some other broadleaf weeds. I expected them to notice that and apply broadleaf weed killer as needed beginning with the second month. They did not. Nor did they on the third month. I called before the 4th month and they did apply broad leaf killer and most of the weeds have died, but there still are areas where its growing. They just completed the 5th application and I was again disappointed to see that they did not follow up on the remaining weeds. I will call about it again before the next application.

They come as expected and appear to do a decent job of fertilizing the lawn. Usually only have weed problems at the edges of lawn where I'd imagine it's harder to treat. I've called around to comparison shop in early spring for the past two years and haven't found anyone who has matched or beat the pricing when considering number of treatments / year varies by service.

Just keep getting worse?. We started off with Lawn Masters 4+ years ago since they mowed most of the houses in our subdivision and they really started off great?well as of last summer they no longer have the bulk of the houses. Each year our yard was worse and worse and we were up sold more fertilizer?aerating when we needed dethatching. Last year we had bare spots, which they stated was due to lack of watering?not true as our water could not get much higher. Also we paid for more fertilizer, insect control and we then had more bare spots, more weeds and even a mole show up, so much for killing the food source. This year my wife stayed home due to surgery?guess what? She watched their weed eaters leak fuel on the bare spots that were ?due to lack of watering?. Last year we were promised they would slit seed for us to make us happy?that never happened. Not to mention the edging as they just scalp about 5 inches off the walkways to bare dirt . They keep the rates but will hit you with a ?fuel surcharge?. Just raise the rate, don?t hide it. They have our yard so deep with thatch I feel we will have to start over as they mow in rain (mowers then cause large ruts) and do not rake or mulch up the clippings. They are nice when you call, come out, they are on time and promise they will fix it, but two years of issues and increasing prices is enough?I?m moving on. Competition is less or equal when you add the ?fuel surcharge? Several neighbors are as well?what are we paying $1,350 a year for???? Weeds, moles, major thatch, scalped edges and bare spots?I can take care of my own yard for much less that I?m paying and get that. Find someone else of Angie's List, there seem to be some good options.

I am actually trying to find someone new. The quality of work is decent. The biggest problem is that when the grass is wet they will still come out to do work.
