Scraped and painted double doors leading into the basement to match the deck stain. Power washed the concrete patio and driveway. The owner of Jablan Fence was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and delivered results exactly as promised.

Description of Work: I called Jablon several times before I got a call back. Then they were a no-show for for our first appointment. When I called back Sanel explained the situation, but I still had waited a day with no call. When they did come, the first thing Sanel said after introducing himself was "the deck isn't empty" and I replied that the coupon said they did not move large furniture, not that I needed it to be completely clear. Then Sanel and his co-worker measured the deck and started to tell me how bad it was, how poorly constructed it was, in what terrible shape it was, and how I really should replace it, because fixing it would cost almost that much. They showed a chart of "finishes" and discussed composition for new decks. They were very dismissive of the value of the "Big Deal" - that was the way to get in and sell something else. They even disparaged the sealer that was part of the deal to begin with. The deal was so cheap, Sanel said, what did I expect. They were polite and charming, except when they were speaking Serbo-Croatian to each other and I did not understand. However, I felt and they basically said that the whole thing was a sales call - and there was no service to be provided. They gave me a written estimate for a new deck, and said I could apply the $100 to that or could get my money back - and they left. It took over 2 months of me contacting them and waiting to get that far. I would rather not have this outstanding. I am not sure if I would want them to service, repair or replace my deck in any case.

Description of Work: Contacted: Jabian Fence & General Contracting 3725 Paule Ave Saint Louis, MO 63125 Contact: Saniel (314) 662-6034 For: $99 for Deck Cleaning and Sealing I call Sanel who said for $99 he could probably powerwash the deck and could only put low quality sealant on the deck floor but that was it. My deck is approximately 12ft x 12 ft. Anyway he started ranting about it would cost hundreds more to do the job. There was nothing service oriented or professional here. It was clear he was angered that he ever agreed to post the offer on Angies List. I wasn't about to go another step toward having this company perform any services.
