Description of Work: Tore down old deck and replace with new composite deck. New deck looks amazing also added post lights. Also replaced sliding glass door.

Description of Work: The project was for a shed tear down and some landscaping. I called and was told they would come out and look at the project. They built my deck and did a wonderful job. I did not pursue this project with them due to no call back. I am sure they would have done a good job due to prior deck build project being done correctly. But ...

Description of Work: I called 9/28/15 and left a message. Received a message that someone would call. I called again 9/30 and left another message. Jim Watson called and said if I didnt hear by Friday he would call me personally. I received a call from Jeff that day. He said he would come 10/5 for an estimate. He showed up on time and reviewed the job and said he would send a quote by email by Wednesday 10/7/15. Today is 10/10 and I still have not heard from them. I would not have heard if I hadnt mentioned on the second call I made that I got their name from Angies list. I am not imterested In Using them. If they are as lax in doing the job as they are with phone calls and quotes the job wouldn't get finished.

Description of Work: We had two 30 year old decks replaced and enlarged. Jim did a fine job of suggesting solutions and organizing the work. Permits were acquired and inspections done in an organized fashion so that the work was not delayed in any significant way by anything other than the weather. We would hire him again.

Description of Work: Replaced a rotted front porch support, wrapped it in aluminum, and repaired the tile at its base. Good materials, clean work, nice job, fair price. Ask if your proposal includes all material costs. It may cost more if additional materials are needed or if the cost est. is off.

Description of Work: Screened in porch and deck repair. Once we accepted the bid, the project grew more expensive due to bad wood on the existing deck, and the county inspection required more support than the bid. Overall, the project was great, it just took a long time to get started [due to long winter I believe they got backed up], and then due to unforeseen issues mentioned above. Overall we will most likely use them again for some smaller projects that come up.

Description of Work: We had a couple of structural repairs on an upper deck and they put down a new plywood floor so the roofer could complete his roof.

Description of Work: We hired Jim and his incredible crew to build a 12 X 42 foot upper deck with stairs leading down to a 12 X 12 ground level platform and to replace two French doors on our house. The upper 12 X 42 foot deck has a covered porch. They provided the bid in late September and there was a some time that passed while they got the plans approved by the city. They started working on the deck in late October. Once they were able to get started, the work progressed rapidly. They were here every morning at 7 AM and worked all day with the exception of one or two days when we had pouring rain. The final guttering was installed yesterday and the city inspector signed off on the deck. We love everything about the deck! I am hoping Jim takes some pictures and puts them on his website. The city inspector was quite impressed. I mentioned to him that when I drove around and saw other people's decks now, their decks looked spindly compared to ours. He made the comment "Oh yes, this deck is five times better than most of the decks I inspect. It will literally hold the house up". Right after they put the roof up, we had a horrendous downpour. The roof is made of some sort of translucent fiberglass panels to permit light through. We didn't want the deck to be dark thus the choice of those panels for roofing. It leaked. They came out the next day and caulked all the overlapping seams on the panels. I told Jim last night that if it leaks during the next rainfall, I'll call him. He said that during the next rainfall, he'll be over here checking it himself. We are planning to use Jim for some additional work in a year or so on the front of our house and possibly hiring his brother (who sometimes works with him) to do some landscaping. As of today, we could not be happier. I urge folks to hire Jim and his crew!

Description of Work: Jim and his team completely redid the railings surrounding my large deck and multi-landing staircase, added a pergola to one end, and installed a snap-lock ceiling to the underside of the main deck. The project turned out beautifully and is the showcase deck now in the neighborhood. I have recommended Jim and his team to my friends and would do so again.

Description of Work: I emailed Jim Watson and explained that the base of the pillars on our front porch were starting to rot and needed to be repaired. Within 2 hours I received a call from him and he came one day later and gave us a very reasonable bid. Within 5 days, I came home and found my pillars were repaired. Not only did they fix the pillars, they went and bought matching paint and repainted them to match the pillars perfectly. I was thrilled!
