Comfort Plus Baths

Paul was very helpful in helping us with design of our new bath. It is much more useful ... and roomy than before. He also offered great suggestions on materials and colors. The Onyx shower surround and vanity top is beautiful. I am amazed by how realistic ... but easy to clean ... is the wood grain vinyl flooring. We opted to go with a frosted glass for the shower ... looks good but covers up the Onyx ... unless you are in the shower. Paul and Tony were very pleasant, punctual, and always went above and beyond to clean up afterwards. We were very comfortable leaving them work in our home when we were away. We have asked Paul to quote on remodeling our kitchen next!

Paul was great! He was very responsive and quick to come out and provide an estimate when first contacted. His price was fair, in fact, lower than a larger competitor that we had received a quote from. He explained his philosophy on how/why he does things and we were impressed with his thoroughness and attention to details that other contractors haven't exhibited. He told us at the outset that it would take 2-3 days to complete and it ended up taking only 2, with no skimping on quality. He was at our house promptly when he said he would be each morning and worked full days to get things completed on time. We truly appreciated that, as we have remodeled our master bath as well as our kitchen and neither of those contractors could be considered prompt or efficient. We wish we would have seen Comfort Plus Baths' ad prior to hiring for those jobs!

Paul Clark from Comfort Plus Baths converted a wood burning fireplace to an all stone, all electric fireplace in our Family Room. The finished product was amazing! The stone work goes all the way up to the ceiling and our large TV is now mounted above the fireplace with all wires hidden. The TV was previously on a TV stand and this had allowed more openness in the room as well as providing a dramatic look and feel to the room. The fireplace is beautiful with multiple settings for lighting and look of the fire. I cannot say enough about this company. They do tremendous work! They are timely, responsible and thorough from start to finish. I highly recommend Comfort Plus Baths for all of your home renovating needs!

Paul confirmed everything the week before the remodel. He showed up first thing on Monday morning and got to work. Did a tremendous quality job and finished everything a day early. Great to work with and does quality work. Would highly recommend.

First we hired him to do our bathroom, he completely reformed the bathroom. We were so pleased with his work that we hired him again for kitchen remodeling project. I had specific ideas, things that i wanted in the kitchen. He listened and did amazing. Paul did an outstanding job. I love my Kitchen. I highly recommend his company for all the remodeling jobs.

If you are looking for a perfectionist, Paul Clark is your man. He came the day after I called and emailed a quote next day. Quote was thousands of dollars less than other providers had quoted. He arrived exactly when he said he would, worked all day for three days, protected my floors, played with my dog, cleaned up every night and did an outstanding job. Everything turned out much better than I expected. Thank you Angie's List, I never would have found him without your service and the other reviews.

We are very pleased with the work done by Comfort Plus Baths. Paul Clark, the owner, did a majority of the work and all of it was top quality. We had three companies come to our home and talk to us about the remodel. Comfort Plus Baths' visit was by far the most thorough. While another company spent a total of 10 minutes looking at the job and talking to us, Paul Clark spent almost an hour looking at the job and explaining to us the various options. All three submitted bids were within $500 of each other and Comfort Plus Baths provided the most complete estimate. Because we wanted to save money by repainting the bathroom ourselves, Paul and an assistant did the demo in about 4 hours one morning. A week later, Paul came back and did the installation part of the job. The installation effort took him a full two days to complete. A couple things really impressed me about Comfort Plus Baths work: - Paul really paid attention to details and used top quality parts. He also did stuff the right way instead of taking shortcuts. In a couple cases, he found that the original contractor took a shortcut in completing the job and at no extra charge, he took the time to redo it right. - During both demo and installation, the first thing they upon arrival was to put down heavy duty drop cloths from the outside door all the way to the bathroom being remodeled. They also put down an exterior door mat at the outside door. - Upon completion of the job, Paul cleaned up the area with a shop vac and then removed the drop cloths. Then he vacuumed the entire area a second time with a household vacuum. The bottom line is that the remodeled bathroom looks great and our first guest really loved the bathroom. We would definitely use Comfort Plus Baths for any future work and have already recommended them to several people.

Paul Clark, owner of Comfort Plus Baths, is a true craftsman. He paid careful attention to the smallest detail, which is obvious by looking at the results. He even installed plywood instead of drywall behind one of the surround panels in the event that I want to install a grab-bar later. I would have no qualms recommending Comfort Plus Baths to anyone. I fully intend to use him for future projects in my home.

Our old basement stairs weren't very sturdy to start with and over the years became even worse. Paul replaced the entire staircase, painted the walls above the stairwell, and added a light fixture so we could actually see while using the stairs. His work was prompt and professional, and he took extra steps that resulted in an extremely sturdy staircase. Our dogs give the new stairs an "A" rating because the backs are closed in and the vinyl treads eliminate slipping.

We needed one bathroom completely redone to make it more handicap accessible. Paul Clark, the owner, was helpful and gave good recommendations on a vanity, shower, grab bars, etc. We went ahead with that as well as having the vanity and walls redone in a 2nd bathroom. The work was done promptly in a professional manner and he was great about minimizing the disruption. The work was cleaned up at the end of each day and they were careful about protecting the hallway floors. Paul's work was perfect with great attention to detail.

Paul Clark owner of Comfort Plus Baths did an outstanding job . This contractor treats your home as it it was his own. All flooring, walls, and furniture are protected by covering he provides. He is especially concerned about controlling any dust he makes. His attention to detail is the best we have ever seen by any contractor. He even does little things that were not discussed in the original bid. We hired Paul to remodel our master bath. The 6 foot tub was to be removed, new vanity, toilet, new floor, lighting and walk in shower with no doors. We had originally picked out a white vanity , but when it was unpacked, Paul found some issues with it and we needed to find a replacement. Finding a white vanity that we could get relatively fast became impossible, so we changed to a vanity of Maple wood, which was at Paul?s suggestion. So glad we did, it looks perfect with the new floor covering. We opted to get matching wood framed mirrors which really set it off. We wanted a toilet topper but the company that made the vanity did not make one. Paul was able to use a kitchen cabinet and recess it in the wall above the toilet and it looks great. We had picked out some accent tile for the shower, but that did not work either because it was not wide enough. Paul picked out some he thought would look good, and we fell in love with it. It looks great in the shower. We are extremely pleased with how the bathroom turned out and very pleased with Paul?s work. While Paul was in the attic to extend the exhaust fan to outside vent he noticed and repaired 4 support beams for the roof that where broke completely through. Paul is also installing a lower level bath for us with shower, toilet and vanity, he was able to salvage some the parts he removed from the upstairs bathroom to use in the lower level room and save us some money. Paul was able to find some remnant floor covering and a vanity that was discontinued and save even more money on the lower bath. We highly recommend Paul Clark of Comfort Plus Baths for your remodeling projects.

I did a great deal of research before deciding to book Paul Clark to install my mother's walk-in bathtub. He came out to my mother's home and spent two hours taking dimensions and sitting with my mother in order to explainto her all of her options and the whole procedure for installation. In addition, he answered all of my mother's questions and addressed each of her concerns. Both my husband and my brother were also at the meeting. All of us were impressed with Mr. Clark's professionalism, kindness and patience. We placed a down papyment that amounted to half of the cost of the services and were scheduled to have the work done the second week in November. On November 1st I needed to contact Mr. Clark with the news that my mother's health had failed so drastically that she would no longer be able to live at home. His response was so humane and so compassion. WIthin a matter of days he had arranged to have the work order cancelled and had refunded all of my mother's down payment except for a slight restocking fee. By the terms of the contract, he could have easily kept the majority of the down payment, but Paul Clark is not only a businessman who knows his industry well and has a reputation for doing quality work, he is also a man with a deep sense of integrity and compassion. He defines excellence in the workforce.

We received several bids before choosing him. His bid was by far the best and on point for what we wanted. He remodeled two full rooms that had been gutted out, into an office and full bath. That includes a walkin closet off of the office. He did everything from the floors to ceilings. Laminate floors, onyx desk in the office, and the wiring. The office is a very high tech look. The bathroom was cabinetwork, onyx sink and shower surround included. Everything was done from scratch. This is the second full bath that he has done for us. Since everything was done so well on the first job, we decided to give him the second contract for our basement remodel. He was wonderful. His work exceeded my expectations. I change my mind a lot throughout a job and he stuck with me. He was helpful in giving tips.He was meticulous down to every little detail. He was very trustworthy. He had access to our home while we were at work. Every day he would clean up after himself. I highly recommend him and will continue to use him for future jobs around our home.

I have to first say that this was more of a rehab versus a remodel. Just when I thought I had a company lined up, they called me back to say they would not be able to do the remodel until Dec. and I needed the project completed before Thanksgiving. Previously, I had other contractors in my home to give me quotes. After trying these other individuals out on smaller projects, I was terribly disappointed with their quality of work, punctuality and flexibility regarding requested changes to the original plans. I then prayed for a dependable, reliable, efficient, trustworthy person or company to complete this remodel. Paul was highly recommended by the same company that I had purchased my wooden kitchen cabinets. Because of being burnt so many times in other remodel projects, I was on guard to make sure things were being done properly no matter what. I was on hand at home every step of the way. Much to my surprise, every time I came up with an idea regarding obstacles or changes not originally thought about or saw something I was concerned with, Paul had already thought of it or had already anticipated the solution and many times matched exactly what I would have come up with. Many times, we were even on the same page regarding decorating ideas. I came to really appreciate his taste and forethought. After a while, I simply told him to do whatever he thought of(this was a first for me because I am very picky and opinionated). He had to overcome many obstacles due to the home's age and un-level flooring. Paul would not stop until things were done correctly. To Paul's advantage, I came to find out, that Paul was not just the average contractor, but a real professional with a varied professional background beyond being a contractor. In my opinion, because of that, he had the right bedside manner, patience and expertise in dealing with various personalities and remodel challenges. I cannot say enough about Paul. He proved himself to be everything I had prayed for. Lastly, there was a problem with a leak around the shower and Paul made himself readily available in working to resolve this issue, in a timely manner, even though he was already involved with a another remodel further away
