Description of Work: We had a water pressure regulator break on the weekend. We had no water. We called them because they were a 24 hr service. Seemed like nice men. But job was done without getting a permit. The piece they bought to replace broken one was plastic. After fixing problem water still did not flow. The plumber we had come days later said they had broken something to allow water to flow. Before these men left they told me it was $489 and they needed cash. Would not take check on Sunday because they could not cash checks on Sunday. Went to get cash. ( at this point I know how foolish I have been). They tell me there is another part broken and they need to fix it on Monday. That will take 2-3 hrs and cost $375. Then the one man says no it will cost $225. The other guy says no and they go back and forth. Finally they settle on $225. One man comes back next day stays 20 minutes to fix it and gets $225 this time a check made out to him. Not the company. Then that night a moaning sound comes from downstairs every 30 seconds. It get louder. At this time I call the company. They will come to look at it but want a $30 service call. I cannot believe it. We have paid them $700 and they want more money. I refused and do call another company. They come out and immediately know what is wrong. Had to redo all the bad work. Got rid of the noise. Told me everything the first plumbers did wrong. This company fixed all the bad work the first company did. I had called the first company 3-4 times. Leaving messages. They never answered or returned my calls. They were suppose to send me copies of the receipts for the work to my email. They never did send them even though I gave them my email. This was a terrible ordeal. The new company that fixed everything charged $918. So we paid a lot of money to get this fixed. Still have not received receipts or received phone call. The county said they will have to deal with them for not getting a permit. And for doing such poor work.
