Great - took far less time than expected. All work seems to be working well. Workmen were professional and very helpful.

It was probably like $150 or something. I don’t remember exactly. You name it, we’ve called them. I mean we called them on Christmas Day in 2014, to fix a shower that would not turn off upstairs; and I got a real person. I got a guy and it was expensive, but it was necessary. He did a fabulous job. He almost spent his whole Christmas with us. We were expecting 14 people to come over and this poor guy. We were running around trying to get ready and he was trying to fix our problem and he did. We’ve used them for anything from the toilets not running to the sewers backed up, that kind of stuff. They have somebody who does it all and they’re very good and very professional.

Cordia Plumbing seems to be very good but too busy for timely responses. It took several months to get a proposal. Worried about the rest of the line, I had Cordia do a video of the cast-iron sewer line under the house. It too is flawed so, because of the cost and disruption to replace both, I've opted to have everything lined by Votruba Excavating, a firm recommended by Cordia. Cordia was quite responsible about it and agreed that lining makes sense. As best I can tell, Votruba seems competent but is also very busy so the lining has not been done yet. Maybe in a few weeks. Stay tuned. The cost of service (below) is that proposed by Cordia for replacing the lateral, but they were not actually hired.

I feel I was gouged: I had done business with Cordia one time before and per their website they change on a time and materials basis. I had already purchased the correct model back flow preventer valve (BPV) for my sprinkler system. I expected to pay about 2 hours’ labor plus miscellaneous materials for installing the BPV replacement. Boy did I get a surprise when they mailed me the bill. They tagged on 2 items that amounted to an additional $310 on top of the 2 1/4 hours’ labor and $114 materials charge: Item No. 1: The St. Louis County permit cost them $69, which they had rounded up and charged me $130. Item No. 2: They had also added $180 for the backflow test which was in addition to their labor charge. When I called to complain, the owner, Bonnie, told me they always charge these, that theirs is the cheapest back flow test in the area (not true) and that I should have asked first. Well stupid me. If I had gone to one of the sprinkler repair companies, they would have charged $82 for the test that includes trip charge and labor. Cordia hit me for $180 plus $130/hour labor for the test, were already on site and had just installed it so knew it worked. Also, plumbing companies submit for permits all the time. I had given the BPV serial number to Cordia a week in advance; they would not have to make a special trip for my permit, so should not have charged me double their cost. I feel resentful as I write them a check. If you use this company my recommendation is to have a written lump sum quote in advance.

Technician was punctual and fast. I watched much of the work and he did a great job.

They came out the next morning and I was all set within 12 hours.

Excellent. Our sump pump had been turning on every couple of minutes. It was getting rid of water regularly (there was nothing backing up) but we weren't sure where the water was coming from. The sump pump was coming on more and more frequent as the days went on so we were pretty concerned. I called several plumbing contractors. Cordia had one of the lowest prices and was able to get out right away b/c someone had just cancelled their appt. Steve showed up within 20 minutes, checked out our system, explained how the whole sump pump and drainage system work, and what he thought the issue was. Then they sent Ed out to scope the drain pipe to be sure that's where the problem was, and then snaked it. He was here within an hour or so. Fortunately, snaking it did the trick this time but from the scope, he found that we've got small holes in our 100+ yr old cast iron pipes and will need to replace those at some point. I couldn't be happier with the service that we received and will absolutely use them in the future.

Have been using Cordia since I purchased my home 2 years ago. They are honest, professional, and thorough. I was using them for plumbing services only and someone else for the sewer rodding, not knowing they also did this. The other company did not perform the service as well as Cordia and I am very pleased with Cordia.

We had a new house built in 2010 and have had plumbing issues since we moved into the house. Small issues like clogged shoer heads, no hot water to tub, calcium build up in the shower valves. After using another plumbing company with a good recommendation, this company is the best.

It was excellent. I have used them for a very long time. The man that came was extremely professional. He was punctual. He took it all apart and he needed a part that he didn’t have on the truck and luckily he ran into one of his trucks a block away from me and he proceeded to put it all together and have it working in a short period of time and took care of my other problem as well. He was very nice to deal with. Everything is working terrific.

Overall the repairs went well. They only problem is one of the pipes they fixed leaked at first. But the responded quickly to repair the issue. I would use again and recommend to others.

Original appointment was at 10am. He did not show until 4pm. This would not have been a big deal if his office would have contacted me to let me know there were issues. I had to call them. Twice. While there he did provide attention and suggestions. Very pleasant. He admitted he could not service the radiant heat system as that would fall under a heating and cooling specialist. He, nor his office, ever responded with a bid for the supply replacement or the re-piping work.

We had initially have another provider come (Roto-Rooter) who told us that our external line to the sewer was blocked and needed to be dug up and replaced. This was in fact after the line had been camera scoped. Cordia was coming to do the bid on the job but in fact reviewed the DVD and said that they thought that was unnecessary as they could cable the line. Sure enough we are now back to usual flow. Cordia service came on the same day we called and only 1 hour after my call. Definitely will use them in the future

They are now going to be my preferred plumber. They got the job done in about 6 hours. The cleanup was very good.

I have used Cordia in the past multiple times. They are always prompt and on time plus I receive a call when they are in route. The technicians are professional, courteous, and never attempt to overcharge which several providers in the past have done. The tech did a thorough inspection of the pipe with the camera, pointed out issues with the iron pipe, and provided recommendations. Also, their communication and friendliness goes a long way as well.

The shower faucet lever finally broke while trying to shut off the shower. As this was the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I panicked as I wasn't sure who would be available to come out. I called around and was placed on 4 different "will call back" lists. Luckily, I got a call back from Cordia and the plumber, Chris, was available to come out that afternoon. As he didn't have the parts needed to simply fix and repair the lever, (and they would have taken a week to get from the manufacturer), I chose to have a new faucet installed. Tile had to be cut out (this is an older home with tile on top of concrete (on top of slats)), and a new larger flashing (trim work) had to be used, but it still looks great. The price was amazing, too. I had a different plumbing company out to the house back in July for a whole separate issue, and was quoted over $1000 for a new shower faucet. Since it wasn't a need at the moment, I was happy to have a "base" quote to go on. Then, when I did have the need, Cordia ended up over $300 cheaper from the other company, and looked better than I imagined. In fact, Cordia was cheaper than I expected, as Chris the plumber said it would be $750, maybe a bit more once it was all done, and when I got the bill, it was under $700. Wow! Great work. Great professionalism.

Cordia plumbing was very professional and they quickly completed the job. They stayed true to their estimate and were very affordable. Hopefully We won't have any more plumbing/sewer issues, but if so they will be our first call.

Excellent. The crews came in over the course of a week, did what they said they would do, cleaned up, then cleared up various questions we had afterwards. The front desk was unfailingly polite and efficient, as were the entire staff.

Cordia was very responsive and gave us a quote within a few days of our first phone call, and had the job done in 2 days. The work was of high quality and permitted. We had a handy man cut back the plaster ceiling and expose the pipe, and ultimately patch the roof and wall for another 2k.

The plastic pipe in one toilet was broken by the plumber when he was installing the supply line. Water was all over the place. He charged me for the repair of the part he broke. I called the company this evening stating that I now have a small leak in one of the new shutoff valves that was replaced this morning. We will see if they will try to charge for another service call. (Ain't going to happen) Secondly, the plumber charged for 2 hours of work when he was actually worked only1 hour 4o min. Third, the entire job would have only taken under an hour ,but he charged me for the time repairing the part he broke. Not a fair deal or experience.
