+ -1 moreThey did a really good job. Mike is the name of the guy and I have had him back here twice. He knows what he is doing. He will tell me exactly what needs to be done. He is busy so he is fast.
Description of Work: Carroll Service fixed my air conditioner. It was expensive because it hadn't been taken care of.

Description of Work: Amana heating/cooling unit was not heating. He analyzed the problem and put a new circuit board in.

+ -1 moreOur A/C quit working right about when the temperature was hitting record highs. Even though they had a busy schedule they were able to come out the same day we called to take a look. We needed a new condenser outside so it was ordered and installed in a day or two. Not sure how it all works but after the new condenser was installed our a/c is even better than when the house was new.
Description of Work: The fan motor for our condenser quit working. They came out to see what the problem was & gave us an estimate of the new condenser. Once we gave the ok to order it, it was installed within a day. They hauled the old unit away & also installed a new pad.

+ -1 moreThey were able to come the same day I called. They were courteous and very professional. They explained in detail all they did. I was so impressed, that I asked to be on their mailing list for yearly maintanence check-ups for the furnace and centrsl air.
Description of Work: They changed the filter, checked the coolant, cleaned the unit outside and then checked the overall performance of the unit.

+ -1 moreMy husband has MS, so he requires round the clock air conditioning. Our old A/C wall unit was starting to falter and not cool as efficiently. Harster's, who normally services our main A/C unit said they did not do wall units but they recommended we call Carroll Service. They showed up the next day after calling, and recommended that we purchase a new unit, since the old one was an electrical nightmare waiting to happen. They were supposed to install the new one, but found mold in the drywall where the old one used to be. They recommended that we get a professional to take care of the mold and refunded the installation charge to us. We were extremely pleased with their professionalism and honesty. Would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Checked old A/C Wall unit. Delivered a new one.

+ -1 moreEXCELLENT. THEY WERE WONDERFUL TO DEAL WITH AND DID A FINE JOB OF INSTALLATION. THEY ALSO SERVICE WHAT THEY SELL. THEY WILL PICK UP THE AIR CONDITIONER, CLEAN AND SERVICE IT, STORE FOR THE WINTER AND REINSTALL IN THE SPRING FOR LESS THAN $100.
Description of Work: THEY CAME TO MY HOME IMMEDIATELY AND DETERMINED THAT MY OLD WINDOW AIR CONDITIONER COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. THEY SOLD ME A NEW ONE (18000 BTUS) FOR A GOOD PRICE. THEY DELIVERED IT THE NEXT DAY, INSTALLED IT AND HAULED AWAY THE OLD ONE.
