Description of Work: The Archway fellow was terrific. We needed to have our fireplace tuckpointed as the bricks were virtually without mortar. He recommended the service and performed it after cleaning and inspecting the chimney. A great job!

Description of Work: Not sure it was the fault of the Archway company but I paid for one of Angie's Deals--chimney sweep and inspection for $139.00. Turns out they couldn't perform the deal as described due to fear of causing harm to the chimney due to loose mortar. So they basically just spent 20 minutes cleaning what they could within arms reach, looked up the chimney with a flash light and said I needed a "Level 2" inspection, and left. It was a waste of money on my part, not knowing there were different levels of chimney inspections. Lesson learned. |
