Description of Work: Made an appointment a month prior to the job being done. We needed a cleaning and a back panel of our fireplace replaced. The woman on the phone assured me I would be the first appt of the day at 8am. 8 am came and went so I called the owner at 8:30am. No answer so I left a message. Fast forward to 10:00am I called the office to have the secretary tell me she was sick and someone else was handeling the schedule. The company finally called to tell me they were running behind and they would be out at 11:30am. I told them I did not feel comfortable doin business's with them because of all the problems. The owner got on the phone and started to talk over me so I ended the call.

 + -1 moreDavid and his team did a phenomenal job. The porch and stairs look good as new. The grout is a perfect match for what was in there originally, only David knew what type grout to use this time so we don't have the problems the original grout gave us. David and his team are knowledgeable, personable, on-time, and on budget. He had to replace a few of the original bricks and the ones he found are a perfect match. David really cares about the details and the quality. I was really worried about finding the right contractor for this job and I'm so glad I found David and the team at Archway Clean Sweep.

 + 1 moreThey showed and quickly inspected and cleaned the chimney. They let me know that I had an issue with the flashing around the chimney and they repaired the flashing. I was also told that I needed to caulk the inside of the fire place and replace the duct tape with aluminum tape on the dryer hose. They had extra supplies so they gave me the material to do needed corrections. I plan to hire them every year to clean my chimney.

Dave's process is exactly what we were looking for... a thorough inspection of the chimney and HVAC system, to make sure they hadn't been damaged by storms. Described where he gets his materials and why he uses them. Described why the previous handyman hadn't done it right. He was also especially careful with our slate roof, which had been damaged by previous workers. On top of that, he totally worked with me when I had to reschedule because of work obligations.
Description of Work: Two chimney caps, one of which had been blown off in a storm due to shoddy construction.

During one of the inspections they found some significant safety issues. They gave us a quote for the repair, showed up on time, completed the work exactly as they quoted, and texted me pictures to show it was done. Will definitely use in the future.

They also answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable. They did not leave a mess, which is very important. My place was just as clean after they left. I would definitely call them again.
