Power blew out Friday night of holiday weekend. Utility sent out a truck and employee confirmed it was our problem. He told us about Trinity, how they had responded to another situation this employee was involved with. Called Saturday morning, they answered the phone, sent an on-call electrician. He confirmed the worst fears and had another: electrical supply houses were closed weekends and we needed a 200 amp breaker to get power restored. At that point, the company called their supply house salesman at home and asked if he would come into the business to get us the part. He agreed and sometime later the electrician was back and laboring mightily to get all the cables re-wired and back into the box under the electric meter. Once power was restored, electrician could pinpoint the problem to a short in the air-conditioner condenser. Even worse news: he estimated the a/c unit was fried. Turned out, it was (is). It was very expensive: breaker $550, weekend rate for electrician $90/hr. He charged us for 4 hours but spent much longer with travel to supply house, etc. Had to rate the price as fair because it was so steep. But considering our plight, we didn't have a choice, plus to find a company willing to go to this extreme to help us makes it very fair.
