Needed a wire fished from the attic to a lower level storage area and to have three ceiling fans installed where there was no previous wiring/openings. Contractor couldn't give us a tight estimate due to the fluctuations of what might be found in each job segment but told us what the hourly would be. We agreed. He cleared his calendar on a nearby date and spent all day plus half of another here with two helpers. Not only did we get everything we asked for but the attention to detail was wonderful. Plus since this is a new home to us, Rick was able to explain several nuances of the electrical service here. Very experienced, up on all local codes, very pleasant to work with. Can't recommend highly enough.

Rick made several trips to the house as the project progressed. He came to put in initial wiring when the walls came down; he came back when we were ready to install appliances; and he came back again after the backsplash tile was completed to finish up with outlet covers, put an outlet in an island, and make sure all of the circuits were up to code and functioning properly. Since he is a Master Electrician, Rick made sure that all the wiring was up to code, that our breaker box was labeled correctly and functioning, and that all the changes we made to the old house would not cause problems down the line. In every visit, Rick did excellent work and did not stop until everything was just right. He was clean, professional, friendly, and a pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: Rick did all the electrical work necessary for a full kitchen remodel: installing the wiring for new outlets, light fixtures, and ceiling fans as well as re-wiring or moving existing outlets, installing the electric lines required for appliances such as range and range hood, refrigerator, garbage disposal, etc., and moving a phone line to another wall. In some cases, the installation was difficult and tricky, such as putting all new wires into a 100 year old crawl space between the roof and pitched kitchen ceiling so I could have a ceiling fan drop down about six feet from the peak of the ceiling.
