I truly wish I could give them zero stars. I've had to call them 6 times in the past month to come and pick up trash with 5 of those times being in the last week. After 4 promises of pick up and it still wasn't, I was told today they don't have drivers in my area so that's why my trash wasn't picked up. If a company can't operate in an area because of no employees, maybe they shouldn't service that area. I will be cancelling my service. I don't see the point in paying for trash service when I basically have to call and beg for them to come and pick it up. My advice, go with ANY other company you can find. This one isn't worth the headache.

They called and said they would not charge for March 2016 and part of April 2016. I insisted that they credit back the overcharges to our credit card as I was not willing to wait and possibly receive another $172 bill. At first they told me their system couldn't do this, but I indicated that the oral agreement made between Republic Services and me in December consistituted a binding legal contract. They credited back the difference.

I live in a rural area where each resident selects their own trash service. I was with another local service for about 2 years but their prices continued to rise. When I called them to ask if there was a way to reduce service to reduce my bill they were very curt with their and quot;no.and quot; I then spoke with Republic Services/Allied Waste and they were quick to give me an excellent price quote on a smaller trash receptacle. When the dumpster was delivered, they knocked on the door and explained that they were out of smaller dumpsters so they would give me the larger one at the smaller price. I have never been sorry in the three years they have been servicing my residence.

Their prices are very reasonable. I live in Twin Springs Estates and there is a contract written for residents of Twin Springs Estates for a reduced rate with Allied Waste. Their rates are very reasonable and the billing is charged automatically to our credit card. The only problem we have had is when we needed to change our credit card number because of security issues. There are other trash pickup services that pick up other days of the week but we have been with Allied since we moved in in 2000. They have been easy to work with other than the bump we had with the credit card. Once, I forgot to put the dumpster out and I called them and they let me haul my trash to their receiving station here in town and unload for free because I was a client. I thought that was pretty fair. Some route men may be different than others but when we had the flooring going on, the dumpster must have weighed 500 pounds because it was full of scraps of wood floorboards. It was no problem. The truck picks the dumpster so the guy doesn't have to pick up the trash can himself. There is no banging trash cans or anything like that. I would give them A's even though we have had some billing problems, it was more our problem than theirs. Service has been reliable and they tell you which days of the year they will be a day late because of holidays. I know that other people in the neighborhood use other vendors but I am satisfied enough that I don't need to shop around.
