Renew Crew of Springfield

They are probably in line with about everyone else. They have a crew that comes out to power wash and stain. They did the fence too. They did a fine job. I think there were three that did the job. It probably took about half a day. I think they power washed one day and came back to stain the next day. It was a clean when they left as when they got here. I think they were very thorough. The fence still looks good. The deck I will probably have to redo, but it gets a lot of sun.

They showed up on time. Were very professional. They did a great job. Our deck was 14 yrs old and had had never been sealed. They found 2 bad boards, so they let me go buy new ones and they sealed them to match the deck They do not do any board replacement. I have tried to pressure wash the north side of our house and have not been able to get it clean They washed it, it is 2 stories tall, and it looks like new.

Came out same day I called to give estimate. Very responsive to my questions via email. Gave me approximate date for competing the job. They called to let me know that they would not be there on the original date, but gave me another time and completed the job. They did a great job of cleaning the siding and making it look like new (it's 15 years old!). I would definitely use this company again.

One technician did all the work on two seperate days. They were prompt and arrived early on the days they said they would. The tech seemed very knowledgeable of the product and what to expect out of it. Our deck wraps around end of our house and 75% of the back. The end has a roof over it while the remaining deck is open. Total size is 10x12 covered and 12x40 across the back. There are two sets of stairs. One goes towards the front of the house and the other drops down to the paver patio under the 12x40 section. Also, there is a roof/gutter system under about 12x30 feet of the back deck. This drains water from above and keeps the patio underneath dry. The roof and guttering are white so there is a need to keep stain from this also. The sealing staining was pretty decent but could be better. There were missed spots near the ground on the support posts. The balisters on our deck are black powder coated aluminum. Many of the balisters have overspray on them. Not bad but it does detract from the sharp contrast of the black against the cedar colored deck. There was also some overspray on the brick pavers under the deck that form the lower patio. Again, not a large amount and most people probably wouldn't notice it. But some of the pavers have an orange tint to them, expecially around the base of the support posts. When this work was done, the weather turned cold and has remained below freezing for extended periods. Since the stain is water based, it would not be able to be reapplied during these temperatures. We didn't call Renew Crew and decided to wait until warmer weather of spring for touch up and some cleaning of the overspray. I am sure they would make it right and I think most will be fairly easy to do. I would probably use them again, just make sure it was prepped a bit better and more thorough cleanup. If the deck was all wood(including balisters) and grass or dirt underneath instead of brick pavers, it would have been a much easier job to do.

The bid was very expensive.

When last done was 2005 I was not there. Only had deck and below screening sides done to avoid any damage to screeening. Those areas looked great but I was sorry I didn't have them do top to bottom. 2013 - First day they power washed top to bottom. Was glad screening was NOT damaged. Person was very carful with spray. Washed the inside screened area house siding at no extra charge. Second day, they returned and applied their finish. Even applied to deck and stairs under surface. Looks like new wood.

It was very well done. I had to wait a month on the list., Probably just the time of season. was not a big deal.

Work was performed as scheduled. Owner kept me informed as to date work would be done, cleaning was on one day and a few days later the finishing of the deck. Good work.

I contacted several companies for estimates. Wood ReNew was the first to respond. They got here promptly and answered all questions. They provided a professional estimate in writing. The next estimate I recieved was verbal, more than 3 times the price and was going to take a full week to complete. Wood ReNew completed the job with high quality in half a day. They did a very high quality job on the deck and also kept the house clean. I will definitely use Wood ReNew again!

It was excellent. I think the quality of work was really good. They were really quick in completing the project. They cleaned up after themselves.

The job went very quickly with Steve and Tommy setting up their equipment around 8:30 AM. They use a hand sprayer with a biodegradable cleaning solution on all the wood prior to pressure washing. We left just before lunch and came back that evening and all decks and rails were clean and all their equipment was gone. The next morning we went out and they arrived after we left. When we returned in the late afternoon they were already cleaned up and gone. I inspected the job and everything was done. They had told us ahead of time that some of the old stain would show through their sealer but when we looked it was hardly noticeable. They did a great job of cleaning up and I could not find any of their sealer on the house walls and trim. Overall, everything looks great and we are very satisfied with the work. They even left a complimentary bottle of gourmet BBQ sauce.

Their estimate was very high so we do it. They were supposed to be very good but we didn’t want to spend that kind of money for pressure washing. They were professional and on time.

Workman showed up promptly on scheduled date, courteously notified us he would begin work, and then began the cleaning process. He returned the following day, moved some heavy pieces of furniture off the deck, then set out to apply the wood preservative. He completely cleaned up the area, leaving nothing more than a beautifully finished deck! After finishing, he left a bottle of barbecue sauce at the door, as a token of appreciation for our business, which was a nice touch.

on time- 2 day process, called to inform of rain and would delay 1 day. I was not home when job was done. Neat and clean work.

2 day service - 1st day power wash next day sealer put down - on time both days. Gave thank-you note & bottled barbecue sauce on completion of job to customer.
