Services we offer

We offer in-home moves which is basically rearranging your furniture. We also offer local moves as well as in-state moves. Partnered with Wheaton World Wide Moving, we can move your from state to state. We also offer packing, unpacking, loading and unloading, and storage. We are also Certified Moving Consultants to help you plan your move as efficiently as possible.

Services we don't offer

We do not rent trucks, and we do not have mini-storage units.

It went well. They took some time to pack and load , 4 hours and 2 breaks later it was on the truck. They showed up on time, did what was promised and delivered as scheduled. Only took about 20 minutes to unload. It was a good move, Thank you.

For the loading process, we dedicated one man to create an inventory list of your furniture and boxes to ensure you receive all of your furniture and boxes in the same condition. You were not charged by the hour for this job as you traveled out of state and the charges go by weight. I know you know this, however, I write it for others reading your review. I think their price was high. I think the movers could have been more professional. They could have cared better for my belongings. I did not appreciate that the movers took so many breaks and they were smoking outside my home.

Hello [Member Name Removed] I am so sorry you were unhappy with our services over a year ago. Had you contacted us at the time, I would have worked to make it a better move for you. I do have a few concerns with your comments and feel the need to respond. After you first contacted us on Nov, 24, 2014, at our request you followed up with a list of the items to be moved. Based on that list, we estimated three movers and one truck approximately 6.5 to 7.5 hours including the drive time to get you moved. We advised you of the estimated time and estimated costs. Based on our estimate, you hired My Movers for the job, and we moved you within Springfield a few days later on Nov 29, 2014. We completed the job in a timely manner and were right on target with our estimate. The actual job, including the drive time, took 7 hours. You are correct, however, that we could have taken better care of your furniture. Although we used a door jamb cover and covered the furniture with pads, we lightly damaged one of your bookcases. I do apologize again for the mishap. When you brought it to our attention, we discounted your bill accordingly and immediately. At the time you were happy with our services and the discount. Smoking on breaks is permissible according to our policies, however never inside a customer's home or our vehicles. Unfortunately, I am unable to stop men from smoking altogether. Also, the men are permitted by law to take a break every two hours. Moving is hard labor, and the men need to take a break. I noticed that the men marked their lunch break and deducted the half-hour break from your final bill as well. Thank you kindly for posting your comments on this website. I plan on using your review as a tool to better serve other customers. Again, I am sorry you were not completely satisfied with our services. Moving is a stressful event and we work to make each job less stressful for our customers. We thank you again for the opportunity.
