Very badly...We had JT give us an estimate on a privacy fence he seemed honest and was competitive... he bragged about his work at a big place he had worked for even showed us pictures, but he needs to stay in that line of business anything else he has no clue he is a scam.anyhoot we decided to give JT a chance not on our fence but doors so we asked JT if he could take out old doors and install new he said yes, we asked how much then we said ok we will pick out our doors and have you install them...we went to Menards and one of the doors needed to be special ordered at that time we texted JT and let him know that one door had to be special ordered and Jel stained so we asked if he could do that and if he wanted to wait to install until we had all of our doors he said he could jel stain, but would go ahead and install the others we got. So Sept 21, 2018 JT showed up with our doors he picked up from Menards. JT started the back door and screen door, me and my husband went to the back to check on him and there was a 2 inch chip on the door frame, when I mentioned it to him, he said oh I will fill that in and paint over so you can’t see it, I said ok because we want these done right and no light showing through. We were friendly with him, we gave him a few bottled waters, bought him lunch we thought ok this guy is going to take care of us...later on me and my husband were tired and stress because it is hard to find good workers, but any hoot stupid us didn’t bother to check his work when he was finished so we paid him and he said he would be back to do our other door, we said ok. Well after me and my husband rested we went to our utility room to check our doors and omg I started crying, my husband was and is not happy. Our Larson screen door he drilled to many holes to place the storm door close cylinders, the door sticks out so much, is not leveled, does not close properly, the new handle is broke, you can see light coming in...Now on the exterior doors well the one he chipped yes he filled and painted, but looks like a 5 yr old did it then we found another chip on the frame which he didn’t tell us but tried covering it up, light coming in all around, put the deadbolt locks where you have to lock the door the opposite way, not leveled didn’t use shims, the other exterior door same freaking way light showing all the way around not leveled, door doesn’t shut without slamming, you can stick you finger through the door seal, put the door lock on one side and the deadbolt lock on the other side omg just depressing, so the next day we texted JT and told him the issues and that we have to do all these repairs our doors are ruined and his words were I opoligize, I said that’s it, you should say I’m sorry and don’t do anything I will be out to make it right, but he didn’t seem to care, we said we thought you knew what you were doing you said you can install prehung doors he said I can it’s just been awhile so this is a learning experience..so we said wow so we were your guinea pigs so if you want to make it right before we file a small claim in small claims court and call Menards, or post this all over the internet than send us some of our money back we paid you and which wouldn’t even cover our screen door so JT said he would send us some money that was Saturday Sept 22, we waited and on Sept 27th we said hmmmm still no money and he said I am really sorry and we deserve better but he can’t afford to pay us any money back since he is the bread winner of the family and he didn’t like us putting him down for his work so he was done, we then said well come out and re fix everything and no reply so we are wanting to warn anyone please do not hire MINDS EYE CREATIONS and any work you have done please check and double check their work before you pay, and when they say they can do the job check out their work reviews...DO NOT HIRE MINDS EYE CREATIONS
