Matthew is pleasant and personable. He has done work for us in the past that we are satisfied with. Matthew unfortunately did not return any attempts I made to contact him after he came to our home and promised to E-mail me an estimate for the work I needed done. I have attempted to contact him by phone, E-mail, angie's list messenger and face book. Never heard from him again! I hope he is alright, because he seems like a nice young man.
Description of Work: Called Matthew, he had done other work that we were satisfied with. Matthew came to our home and seemed eager and excited to begin our bathroom remodel project. Promised to E-Mail me and estimate and begin the following week.

Matthew was very responsive and personable when scheduling the appointment to look at my bathroom. (It is completely gutted down to the studs and is in need of drywall, framing, and tile work.) When talking about the project, he asked some good questions about what I wanted to do with certain design aspects and we got along swimmingly. He seemed excited to work with me and I was eager to have the work done. He assured me he would be sending me a quote soon and probably be able to start within a few weeks if I wanted him to. I had read his positive reviews on Angie's List and he touted his social media reviews as well. After that initial visit, he NEVER called, emailed, or anything, and I called him several times and left 2 voicemail messages. He just disappeared. Very frustrating to say the least.
Description of Work: I needed a bathroom remodel quote; he came over to look at the bathroom and then never replied to my calls about the actual quote.

Prior to renting out our house, I had done some hasty drywall work that looked very much like I had done it rather than a professional. Once our renter moved out, I decided to have someone more skilled take a look at it. Matthew came after hours to look at and gave his honest opinion about how to repair the situation (which was significantly cheaper than what I was suggesting). After getting a couple other bids, I chose to go with Matthew. He worked me into his schedule within 3 business days of accepting the bid and the finished product looks great.
Description of Work: Repaired some poorly finished drywall in our kitchen and bathroom.

Description of Work: I had a load bearing wall removed and finished to the "ready-to-paint" stage. Matthew had completed a deck remodel for me, and had installed doors, so I had a chance to see the quality of his work before turning him loose on an important structural gig. As with his previous work, he was competent, professional, clean and thorough. Now that this project is complete, on to a kitchen remodel and new floor! I would not hesitate to recommend Lillich Services to anyone.

Matthew listened to what I wanted and provided suggestions. His work looks great and he took the time to do it right and to address any issues or questions I had. He showed up when he said he would and did not let the 100+ temperatures bother him. Both Matthew and Will were pleasant and professional, cleaned up when they were done, and did great work. I plan on using their services for some more extensive remodeling.
Description of Work: Installed metal roof and fans on a portion of my deck (30x12) as well as re routing electricity for lighting.Replaced a worn out french door with a slider and installed storm and entry door, including deadbolt (keypad type)

When I contacted him regarding my project he seemed interested and arranged to meet a friend of mine at my home since I am often out of state. On the date of the appointment he showed up an hour late. After that, he didn't submit a bid for a couple of weeks although others had done it within a couple of days. During this time, I called and left a message but got no return phone call. He had previously friended me on Facebook, so after about 3 weeks when I saw that he was online I sent an instant message asking if he was still going to make a bid. He made an excuse that he needed to find a new drywall guy (even though I was asking HIM to do the work, not be a general contractor). He did not offer an apology for not contacting me but I thought I would let it go and give him another chance to make a bid. After another few days I still didn't hear anything, so when I noticed him online again, I sent another instant message asking about the bid - he made yet another excuse, so I mentioned that I was concerned that he had not even contacted me about the delay. He then ignored all further communication. Very unprofesional. It takes only a couple of minutes to advise someone about a situation. If he didn't want the job all he had to do was say so. Excuse after excuse is a bad sign. Glad I didn't hire him, I feel like I dodged a bullet.

Response from Lillich Services LLC
I let the customer know I would be coming by after my work day was completed, which was not a set time as I was on a job, after arranging to meet his "friend" I had questions about his representation, responsibility, and billing as Lipscomb was out of state. I informed himof two things; first, that I had recently let go an employee and didnt feel like I could perform the job by myself in the time frame he had in mind, and secondly, that there was a possibility of asbestos material which could be disturbed during the work and that I was unqualified to do the required testing and analysis to determine whether special precautions needed to be taken. After the tone of electronic messages I received from him and hearing through a mutual Facebook friend some disparaging comments he had made, I discontinued contact.

Description of Work: I found this business on Craigslist and called Matthew Lillich to make an appointment for an estimate, date and time was set. On day of appointment I called roughly 1 1/2 hours ahead to see if all was still a go for the appointment, no contact. At 4:15, 15 minutes after the mutually agreed upon time I called again, contact was made and I was told he had forgot about our appointment due to "getting involved in a plumbing job" I was told Matthew would call back in about 1/2 hour (4:45) when Matthew would be by his appointment book to reschedule. It is 11:15 p.m. and I haven't heard back yet. Not good for a person who advertises as "Honest, dependable, on time & on budget". I cannot in good faith reccommend this individual to anyone.
