L&S Upholstery did a magnificent job! They had the chairs finished and returned earlier than anticipated. I highly recommend them. So very pleased.

Wonderful people to work with! They make appointments (approx dates) for their service. Meanwhile, you get to keep your furniture until they're ready for you. When your appointment comes up, the turnaround for completing the job is only a couple of weeks. We delivered and picked up the chairs ourselves, but they will do this for you if you wish. Workmanship is excellent.

I had purchased a used glider rocker and felt it needed new cushions. I called L and S Upholstery to see what it might cost. I left a message and they called back immediately. The over-the-phone estimate was $120. That seemed reasonable. He said that I needed to purchase the fabric I wanted and recommended FM Stores in Springfield. I went to FM Stores and purchased fabric. Fabric cost was about $25. I delivered the old glider rocker cushions and the fabric to L and S Upholstery. They called a week later and said they were ready. They did a beautiful job. Once they saw the cushions, they revised the price to $90. I am happy with the result.

I called about four (4) different upholsterers, including L and S upholstery, but wasn't able to talk with anyone, all I was able to do was leave a message at best. The next day L and S upholstery was the only one that called back and explained that they were out of town but would return by that Monday. We took the chair pads to them that Monday for a cost estimate. The price for the work was grate, the only problem was that they did not have a selection of upholstery. Lyndell and Sue directed us to an upholstery outlet where we could pick out a pattern and style that we liked, then when we brought it back they would do the work. So we did just that and went to the upholstery outlet and found a perfect pattern and color (this cost an additional $22.00) but was well worth it. We had to leave before the chairs were finished so it was up to daughter to finish up. When the job was finished Lyndell delivered the chair pads and installed them on the chairs at my daughters house (no extra charge). The kitchen set looks fantastic.
