 + -1 moreHad to wait awhile for bid, then had to wait several weeks for the work to start, but worth waiting for. John and crew were professional, polite, neat and tidy, listened to my input and any concerns. Concrete work has held up well. I think the biggest complaint, if any, about JMC, is the wait. But that's kind of good news, because he's in demand due to the quality of his work.

Description of Work: Had to wait several weeks to get the work done because he's busy, but I got in the queue and it was worth waiting for. The employees and subs were all polite; they cleaned up nicely after themselves. I've already referred JMC to a neighbor who was also very pleased.

Description of Work: Complete remodel of kitchen. Work is still in progress, should be completed by next week. Very pleased with the work and the workers Mr. Moody has working for him. He checks on the work every day we have workers here and listens to any issues we have and makes sure they are taken care of to our satisfaction. We highly recommend John Moody Construction.

 + -1 moreI have not gotten a returned phone call from John Moody or anyone in his company.
Description of Work: I called to get an estimate on a bathroom remodel and deck addition. Two weeks later John Moody came to our house and told me when he left that he would get a bid to us the next week. I called and was told by the receptionist that I didn't need to call him, he would call when he had the bid together. I called two weeks later and was told the same thing and that he was behind on his bids. I called 2 months after my initial phone call. The receptionist actually asked me if I still wanted a price from them.

 + 0 moreThe provider did a good job of finding doors and hardware similar to the originals, which dated from 1977, and staining the doors. The estimate originally lumped materials and labor together into one grand total. But it seems to be standard practice to do this in Springfield. Also, on the estimate, the work (and cost) on the wallpaper repair was not separated from the work on the doors, so the final bill, including both, came as a bit of a shock. Part of that was because the wallpaper repair took a lot of time. The quality of the work seemed adequate to good.
Description of Work: 2 interior doors were replaced with new doors similar in appearance to the originals. Seams were glued (re-glued) on wallpaper in a bathroom.

 + -1 moreFrom start to finish, John Moody Construction produced quality work in a timely fashion. If you ever been involved in a renovation, you know that the schedule can be stretched due to unforseen circumstances. John Moody and his team worked around those issues and completed the project to a quality standard that I am most happy with and I have high standards.
Description of Work: In searching for a general contractor to oversee the renovation of my kitchen, John Moody Construction was fantastic, reasonable and great to work with. From demolition day all the way to completion, the work was completed professionally and in a timely manner. All of their sub-contractors that I personally met were very personable and they did not mind my two litte ones asking questions or overseeing their work. I would highly recommend John Moody Construction Company to anyone who is considering pursuing any rennovation or new construction work in their residence.
