 + -1 moreThe man I spoke with on the phone was very knowledgeable, patient, and wanted to help me as much as he could. He was great! I will definitely be calling this electrician again if I have any more problems.
Description of Work: I called and got advice on a fuse issue. I was vacuuming in my bedroom; my husband went in the bedroom 10 minutes later and nothing would come on. I tried replacing all the fuses for the master bedroom & bathroom, but everything still wouldn't come on. When I called the man who picked up was very nice and patient and had some good advice. He went ahead and scheduled me an appointment for the next day to have someone come look at it (as it was close to closing time for the day). He said that I might have some loose wires in the outlet that I used, and that they probably just overheated and shut the fuse off. He told me to wait and see if the power would come back on on its own, and to call if it did. An hour later I checked the bedroom and everything is back on now!

 + -1 moreHe was very professional and did what he could to save us money on unnecessary things to purchase. We really enjoyed working with him and he did an excellent job. He even stayed past his usual quitting time to ensure the job was finished before leaving. We appreciated that.
Description of Work: Mike installed electrical plugs and lighting in our garage. He also fixed a light in our kitchen that buzzed.

 + -1 moreI found a live/hot wire in the attic and called them to install it in a junction box. The electrician came out and could have installed it in a junction box in a few minutes but went beyond what I called him for and wanted to trace it's origin and disable it at its source. I thought that this was in fact a better choice and within a few minutes he traced it to a switch in the house and disabled it at the source. I had a bad experience with another electrical company(not Jand J) on another job the week before and was not going to call this other company again. I will call Jand J for all electrical work in the future.
Description of Work: Disable/kill a live hot wire I found in the attic. It was a fire hazard.

Description of Work: The service was outstanding, Jim looked over what I wanted, Gave me qoute. I purchased reqiured items required WhenI had them I called and the installer here on the date I wanted. The installer "MIKE" was on time, he recomeded one item that I had over looked (no extra cost). He was top nortch in everyway and I would recommend this company with the highest grades possible
