Hy-Vee

Description of Work: HyVee is and has been a favorite company for almost fifty years. HyVee and Casey's are both Iowa companies, my home state. I am a proud customer of both. | |Before I moved to Springfield, I asked a HyVee vice president when they were moving south of Kansas City. The gentleman expressed his regret that he could not share company information about locations that might or might not be in HyVee's future. He did make a point of asking why I asked and to which city I planned to move. When I said Springfield, he only smiled and thanked me for my interest. I felt that perhaps my wait would not be long. As it turned out, it was only a year after my move that HyVee came to Springfield. | |HyVee offers three things that I admire. First, they offer excellent fresh foods: produce, meat, bakery, deli. Second, they are proud to use their name of many of the products that they sell. Third, their employees are customer focused. The company motto for many years has been: A friendly smile in every aisle. The employees exemplify the motto and go beyond that. | |As with every successful company, people make a business succeed, or not. I have had very few instances when I made a complaint - an item that did not get included in the bag, a product that did not meet expectations. In each instance, there was no hesitation about correcting the situation. | |My family and friends in Iowa who have a HyVee in their community choose to shop HyVee. My family and friends in the Kansas City and Independence Missouri area choose to shop HyVee. I will continue to do so as well.

Description of Work: I went shopping at Hy-vee for salad stuff to make with dinner.
