Description of Work: The shop did a good job with the framing and matting, and at what I though was a reasonable price. I gave a B in professionalism because the shop was a little messy and disorganized.

Description of Work: I had a poster framed.

Description of Work: I brought in an old oil painting to have it stretched & possibly framed thereafter. The owner of the store, Mr. Fast, could hardly bring himself to come to the front of the shop and greet me, and when he did, he was not at all personable. I did decide to get an estimate for my standard-sized piece, which to me seemed high. I was bothered by the fact that he kept touching the painting, which, as an ex-art teacher and painter, made me realize he was not particularly in tune with professional care of paintings. He kept stating that it was a standard size, yet insisted that he would need to make the stretcher bars himself--who knows why? However, I left the painting and agreed to have him stretch it. He stated that it may take up to two weeks, and I agreed, and left the piece. More than a week later I tried calling. Called again. Finally, about two weeks later I stopped into the store & discovered that he hadn't even begun the work. At this point, tired of his excuses, I took back the painting (after clarifying beforehand that he hadn't begun the stretching work) and took it to another shop which cost me less than half of the quote I had from Fast Frames.
