+ -1 moreNot as well as expected. I do not feel that going into a debate over "he said, he said" is going to resolve anything. As with anyone you hire, please do your research, ask a lot of questions, and document every detail in writing (such as appointment times, follow-up calls, etc). Beware of fast-talkers and braggarts... I do, however, believe I paid for more than I received. Lesson learned.
Description of Work: As with anyone you hire, please make sure you get do the following: Have the person verify, in writing, that they are licensed, bonded, and insured. This is for your protection. Get the Beginning and Completion Date of Project in writing. Be very clear on the Details of Work you want performed. Document and Date all Communication for your reference because Future Challenges will arise. If the person you hired doesn't show up, don't wait for a phone call. Call him / her. Make your check payable to the name on the invoice. Bottom line. You are hiring someone to do a job. You call the shots.

+ -1 moreDid not want a check written to Dr Drywall but in Todd Hamilton's name. Error on 2 occasions on invoice totals in his favor. One of the toilets installed wobbles. Was disappointed that written estimate and discussion of work and actual work completed had addtional charges. An example would be that after flooring was installed wanted to charge addtional fee for putting down quarter round.
Description of Work: Kitchen and bathroom update including installation of flooring, counter top, toilets, light fixtures, drywall repair. Work included tear out and clean up. Much of the work was sub contracted.

+ -1 moreExcellent and Painless I just pick up the phone and Todd handles everything.
Description of Work: Todd has helped me on multiple improvements on properties we own. There is nothing this man can not do. I always reference him as "The Mike Holmes of Springfield" On price, he is very fair/reasonable and the quality and results far exceeds any monies charged.
