Bragging Rights Lawn Service

With my move to a new house coming the next day, I found this service on Craigslist and called hoping that he could work on the yard after the movers left that next afternoon. The grass was already long from several days of rain, and I wasn't sure how soon I could purchase a mower. Mike took my call that evening and promised to come out the next afternoon to examine the yard and discuss his services. He didn't want to quote a price on the phone, and that made me a little nervous -- but I don't blame him. He was quite courteous and professional on the phone, and I was hopeful. The next day, he called ahead and showed up right on time. His price quote was reasonable, and he worked a LONG time with great care. In the end, he was not nearly as satisfied as I was with the result; Mike appears to care about detail. I like the exercise of mowing my own lawn. However, Mike's work was impressive and his professionalism couldn't be beaten -- so, now, I find myself wondering about hiring him longer term (odd for me, but I was really impressed).
