On time, he described everything he was doing and why, he gave alternates so we both came to the same conclusions. Helped identify discount options and explained possible future improvements to work towards, if desired. I learned more about my system than I ever knew. Fantastic!

I thought their work was excellent and professional. But I was more impressed by their gracious handling of my request for a refund. This was like the old days of actually getting "the customer is always right" kind of service.Kudos to Donnie and his crew. If this is any example of how they conduct their business, THEY WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT HAPPY CUSTOMERS!! WELL DONE!

Our A/C stopped working, and -- based on great Angie's List reviews -- I called ATS. Despite my call coming in the afternoon, the receptionist was terrific and found a way for an ATS technician to make a service call that same day. We were pleased that Rob arrived even earlier than expected. He oddly spoke at length about his expertise, but when I asked a simple question about the system, he fumbled for a moment before indicating that he couldn't tell me because I wouldn't understand (not that it matters, but I have a background in chemical engineering, and I likely would have understood an answer). When he returned the next morning, he indicated that he had consulted with Donnie (owner) and determined that I would have a choice between an expensive repair and replacement of the whole system. He took my money for the diagnostic charge and left indicating that he would call later that day to provide details about what we needed to do next. Neither he nor anyone with ATS followed up. I had to contact another HVAC company, who approached the problem in an entirely different manner. My seven year old system did not need to be replaced. My experience with ATS was bad -- a waste of time and money (89 bucks for "diagnose" without promised follow-up). Since so many other reviews are positive, maybe this is a case of a good company having a very bad day (at a customer's expense). I try to think the best when there's any doubt. Still, I won't be taking another chance with ATS. UPDATE following ATS's response: I hope anyone who happens to read my review focuses attention on ATS's impressive response. I have updated my ratings to shift toward N/A or A. Last week's experience was not good, but we all make mistakes and the other reviews suggest that ATS makes fewer mistakes than many; moreover, the owner has done everything imaginable to respond in a positive way. I wish I could say the same when I have an off day.

They maintain it for free. They are perfect. They cleaned up well and they were nice. They did everything that they promised to do. I feel they are good value for money.

I chose to do the repair myself and so I try to do as much work out of the house that I can so hired them to strictly do the troubleshooting and so they found an issue with the circuit board which turned out to be the issue. What I thought was really nice is that had to let me know where I could get the parts. The cost on the part was more than what I thought was something I wanted to pay. So I was really upfront about that and the way that they handle things is that you can just pay for the troubleshooting so that allowed me to go and look for parts.

ATS came in at half the cost of the competition for comparable equipment and install. They schedule the work and showed up on time and completed the job in less time then estimated. They proved a walk through of all the new equipment and pointed out new safety switches and maintenance items that were done beyond the original work list at no extra charge. The new system has worked perfectly and is significantly quieter then the 16 year old system it replaced. The right price with excellent customer service, I can't ask for better than that.

My wife found a Groupon for a 49.00 summer maintenance tune up for our AC system offered by ATS Heating and Cooling. I called and made the appointment for them to come out and do the service. When the Tech Justin showed up with a helper I showed them to my system (which was running fine in the 91 degree weather we had earlier that week) My system was 24 years old and was a dinosaur and was in need of replacement for energy savings alone, however; the wife and myself were trying to nurse it along for a little while longer. I received a phone call about another family matter and excused myself from the two tech's while they went about their business. After my phone call, Justin called me down to explain that he had found a leak or three in my system and that it needed to be replaced. Not repaired, replaced. He then proceeded to tell me he was going to go out and write me an estimate . When I got the estimate it ranged from 3900.00 to 6900.00 depending on the system and the options and efficiency. They then excused themselves and left. Here's the problem. I had a second company come out and they found that the" Schrader's Valves" had been loosened to the point that they just vented all the freon into the open atmosphere. No leaks in the coils or anywhere else. The second companies tech stated that the valve is one of the first things you check doing routine maintenance and that while you can't prove it was done on purpose that "less then reputable" technicians can do this to sell new systems or create a bigger bill for work that "needs" to be done on the system when none is needed. While I can not prove that Justin did that to my system causing it to fail I do find it hard to believe that he could miss something like that. As a result my wife and I decided to replace the old system and had a brand new system installed be another company. They were fantastic and a breath of fresh air. I would not recommend ATS to anyone looking to have work done.

They were great, very professional, honest and friendly. I recommend them. I'm actually in the middle of another "heating and cooling" deal - and I want them to do the work. I'd definitely use them again!

Very nice - prompt - found the problem which will require a new furnace probably next year but was able to get it going for now and hope it finishes out this season.

Got everything done in one day. New system is working well.

New furnace installed previous month did not work when thermostat called for heat. A wire had pulled out of a connection. Situation was promptly addressed under warranty. Company worked with me to secure rebate from City Utilities. I intend to stay with them for service contract, as my experience with them has been favorable and personal.

This is the 4th or 5th time we have used ATS for either maintenance or repairs. This was our third repair. We used them the first time because our home warranty recommended them and have continued to use them since our warranty expired. During maintenance, they found a faulty part that was causing our heater to have to work harder and kick on more. David explained the pros/cons for either waiting for the part to completely stop working, or repairing now. We chose to repair now. I really like that they always send out the same guy if possible. I have had David for all but one maintenance time and have been incredibly satisfied.

From the initiation of the process to the final walk through this company was outstanding. The called for an estimation and when they came out they took the time to explain my options and answer my questions. Very professional. The installers were wonderful. They did the job right and took the time to help me with a few custom things I asked for. They installed my new thermostat and made sure everything worked. They also stopped to answer my questions through out the installation. Once the installation was complete the owner of ATS came to do a walk through and provide me with some rebate information. This company gave me their CU rebate even though I was not a CU customer. I would highly recommend this company.

I called ATS and they made arrangements for their technician to come to my home to give me an estimate on the work. The young man arrived on time, and even texted me that he was on his way. He looked at the work to be done and gave me what I thought was a good and fair estimate. We made arrangements for him to come and do the work on a specific day and time, and he showed up exactly as scheduled. He completed the work in less than the estimated time, and completed it to the penny of the estimate. He did a very good job, and even installed a device to keep the moisture out of the unit at no extra charge. I am very happy with the work, and the young guys who completed the job were professional, friendly and courteous.

The entire project went great, they made sure everything was done right. The re-ductwork, returns, and vent additions were completed towards the end of the summer/beginning of fall. I could immediately notice how extra vents and returns evened out the house. The return in the hallway went from loud and rattly to whisper quiet. They also replaced the main intake return trunk - which had inches of dust in it! During the install they notice the A-coil was leaking, cost was covered by a home warranty. The AC was also covered by warranty in May, ATS did the service on all of it. The last piece of the pie was the furnace - which is the last thing I had done. The new furnace looks and works great thus far. These folks go the extra mile and make sure things are done correctly, and at an amazing price. I think they spent at least a weeks worth of the time for the projects entirety. They do great work and I highly recommend them for your next HVAC project. The care factor is really there with ATS.

I have used ATS twice this year for service. I have used other companies over the years but the service and technician Ryan were excellent. I have recommended ATS to friends who have used the service as well and they have been very pleased.

Technician came out as soon as he could, as I remember, it was on a weekend, Was very professional and through, I have used this company before, had to replace my built in oven, we were pleasantly pleased. I felt we were not overcharged for his services.

We woke up to a hot house on a Sunday morning. We referred to Angie's List and seen the good reviews for this company. I called them to find out if they charged an extra fee to come out on weekends---which they didn't (on emergencies). Their technician called us about an hour out to let us know when he would be here. He checked the system over; explained in detail what was wrong; then fixed the problem in a very timely matter. He also offered us a service agreement, which in the long run saved us money. This was our first experience with them....we're very happy with the service...and definitely plan to use them again!

Called on a Monday morning and was happily surprised when they said they'd be out in a couple of hours. Dan arrived when promised and had the dishwasher back up and running in 30 minutes. Great job.
