The pilot light on our water heater went out. They tried to sell us many other, unrelated items and I am not sure why it cost that much for something quite simple. At first I wasn't sure what to believe. After asking my dad, he assured me most likely the other concerns the technician had were not a big deal. The company never even explained that they just relit the pilot - I read it on our ticket.

My husband woke up very early to go turkey hunting - while in the basement he heard water running - upon further investigation he realized we had a major water line leak. Started to call vendors about 6:00 in the morning. Eric and James were at our home before 7:00 a.m. EVERY time they entered our home they put on foot protection - that had to dig up our front yard - repaired the leak and found another pending problem - they only left the job site to have lunch and didn't leave until after 4:00 p.m. My husband and I feel they are trustworthy and professional - we would recommend to friends and family.

He was going to call back the next day with the quote and he didn't call. About 4 o'clock, I called them and they had just been extremely busy. I expected a call and that doesn't take very long. I wasted a whole day. I just didn't get a good vibe from them. So I just didn't go with them and went with someone else.

Had an appointment to discuss installing a water softener. The individual did not show up or call to reschedule the appointment. UPDATE: See above.

They were quick to respond and they did quality work. I would use them again.

UPDATE 3/25/13: The owner of All Klear telephoned me this morning. He had read my review and wanted to know what had happened that led to my poor review. We had an extensive conversation and now I do believe that the experience I had was not typical for this company. The person who did the service call on 2/28/13 was a new employee. In our call this morning, the owner said that based on my feedback, he will not keep this person in his employ. His goal is satisfied customer service and it is not the policy of All Klear to send in someone to use scare tactics or use high-pressure salesmanship. The purpose of the plumbing inspection I scheduled was to check for real and present dangers and problems with a customer's plumbing system. I believe now that the owner and company policy is different from what was represented by the employee who did the plumbing inspection on 2/28/13. I am now revising my rating to be much more satisfactory. And, I did have a great experience from All Klear's staff during their heating system inspection last autumn. That employee was outstanding, knowledgeable, and took much time to explain our heating system and how it works, as well as how to maintain it. THIS WAS MYORIGINAL REVIEW on 3/17/13 THAT I AM GOING TO LEAVE IN, BUT THE PROBLEMS I EXPERIENCED ARE NOW CORRECTED BY THE OWNER: Person who showed up turned out to be not a service tech but rather a salesman. He quickly tried to convince me of the dangers of galvanized iron plumbing and related water piping to water heater, etc. He was a fast talker and used confusing phrases and terms. Unknown to this person, my spouse was in a nearby room with door shut and spouse overheard all conversation and agreed it was evasive, suspicious, and confusing. Especially suspicious was the claim that our city water contributed to degradation of the galvanized piping. He suggested that our furnace and house was in jeopardy of flooding damage from water leaks. This salesman gave me an estimate to "fix" concerns. Price? $4260, plus additional $590 to replace t&p valve on water heater. Salesman also identified a sink trap that was in need of replacement due to it leaking. This turned out to be not true, the trap was not leaking or damaged. Salesman did not inform us that galvanized piping in this area typically lasts over 100 years before deposits, etc make it unsafe to use. We contacted C.U. water department as well as a trusted plumber. They confirmed that All Klear's statements were wrong and misleading. As we learned later, companies like this one and other strong-arm ones in same business typically send sales people out for inspections like this. The sales guy is trained to instill doubts and fears into customers. They make very good commissions on "selling" total replacement piping. Shame on All Klear and similar companies. Their tactics should be criminal.

I live out of state, my daughter and grandkids live at our house until I retire. I will use All Klear for all plumbing work in the future.

It was a fantastic experience, for a situation that wasn't so fantastic.

The individual who performed the work was punctual, amiable, and did a good job. While the company's prices are a bit high, I would use them again. In fact, I did use them again for a garbage disposal issue.

called him and he was here within 3 hours. Cleared the toilet and then crawled under house to check for further potential problems and to locate where the sewar went out to the street. Said there was no guarantee but the clog was freed and toilet was flushing well when he left.

It went well. Greg figured out how to reconfigure the drains, took a photo of the present drain system, then went to Edge Supply to get the parts he needed. He came back with the proper parts and installed the new drains. He cleaned up and left. An hour or two later, I noticed a small leak, called All Klear and Greg came back and fixed the leak. I had printed the $20 coupon from Angie's List, and they deducted $20 from the invoice.

I noticed that my sump pump wasn't working any longer, so I gave them a call due to their high ratings. They were so very nice, even went as far as snapping some photos to show me the shoddy installment of the previous pump the seller had put in just before I closed on my home in 2009. They replaced the sump pump, repaired the plumbing pipes that were totally disconnected from the previous pump for 3 years! It took them about 1 hour as they were prepared with a new pump on hand. To date, I barely hear the sump pump turn on when it rains. The old pump sounded like a freight train under my guest bedroom and didn't realize, that it wasn't working in the first place. I have never lived in an area that called for sump pumps therefore, I had no experience as to how it was suppose to sound like. I am very pleased with ALL KLEAR PLUMBINGS work. It cost a bit more than I expected, but they worked with me and I appreciated that very much.

The minimum charge/service call fee was not disclosed on the initial phone call for service even when asking if the fee existed. I still opted to have the services performed to avoid disputing these charges. I understand companies charge service call/minimums to prevent having to attend calls where customers decline service. The issue was not that the fee existed, but that the fee was not disclosed. The company offered to waive the "trip charge" to get parts they did not have on the truck. The plumber arrived on time, was very nice, and performed the work without an issue. However, a leak later developed. They came back after the weekend to apply epoxy on the joint that was leaking. Overall I am satisfied but hope that they disclose the fee to future customers and the price was a little higher than I expected especially if "trip chargers" are applied if they don't have parts as they also didn't seem to have a lot of parts/supplies on the truck.

I had this company come out and run a natural gas line to my fireplace and then install my gas log when I was ready for it. They ran the line as we had agreed. Generally a good job. The silicon around where they put the lines in looked to be done in a hurry but no big deal. When the man came to install the gas log, he seemed to be very careful and seemed to know what he was doing but he forgot to bring a certain kind of drill and so the gas log was not securely mounted to the base. He said he would return the next day to finish the job but never showed. The log seems to be secure without the mounting but I would have been happier if he would have done what he said. I should have contacted the company but just lazy or it doesn't seem to be a big problem at this point. I would use them again but the small things hurt their ratings. They did a great job on the faucet.

Came on time and was done quickly, even came back and fixed again at no charge.

First received estimate for service and then appointment was made for the service to begin. Technical support arrived on time and supervisor made visits to check on progress. One problem was not fixed properly but was quickly responded to the following day. The team and the management were very accommodating and helpful. They were a pleasure to work with.

The installer, came and installed my new furnace in a timely manner. He even cleaned up my cooling coil and put anew thermostat in as the old one was so old and not keeping the tempiture at what I set it at.

We got them off Angie’s list. We use them on a regular basis to check the furnace and make sure everything is okay. They will be dong the air conditioner as well for us. We have been using them for about three years. They clean the system when they come and check the plumbing. They are very reasonable. They are very efficient and do a very good job. They call you back and are on time. They show up when they say they will. I was very happy with their prices as well.

All Klear Plumbing did a wonderful job getting our sink unclogged. There were very prompt and kind, I would highly recommend them. Kimberly B.

They were prompt, courteous and almost exact on the price they gave me over the phone. If I ever need plumbing services again, I will call them first!

First Dana came to do the semi-annual service for the furnace and air conditioner. Washed the filters and anything else that needed to be done. Next Dave came to do the plumbing inspection of all our plumbing, including the washer, dishwasher, disposal, plumbing fixtures, bathroom plumbing. Increased water pressure. We had been having a terrible problem with rust. He suggested installing a water softener. We decided to do that and have all the UV and whole house filters moved from the pantry to the garage. Scott installed the new water softener and did any and all other plumbing repairs that were needed. Dana, Dave and Scott were very nice and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing, heating or air conditioner work done.

1. Diagnosed problem with the fill valve and flapper - - fill valve was not working correctly, and the flapper was not sealing correctly.2. Provided quote.3. Replaced the fill valve and flapper with new kit.4. Heard subsequent water leak, and replaced new flapper. Will Clowser was punctual and attentive. He asked questions, and diagnosed the problem(s) quickly, and provided a quote, and performed the work quickly. He noticed that there was a subsequent problem after the installation and checked the replacment flapper installation also. Will was extremely courteous, and corrected the problem. Cost wasn't itemized by service call and parts and labor, but my only "less than A" marks come from perceived cost of the Toilet Valve and Flapper Kit or Labor or Service call, based on review of parts costs online (Amazon). I would recommend the Company, however, based on the other criteria, and the bottom line correction of the issue.

Overall, they were good. They did what they said they would and it turned out good.

I found them on Angie's List. The owner’s name is Chris Hoffman. They did a very good job and I was real pleased. They were very courteous. It was a young man that came out and he came out a couple of times. There was a small leak when he put the toilet in, and it wasn't any fault of his but something that just happens sometimes, and he came right back out and solved that issue. I would get him again if I had any problems. I thought that they were a little bit high but I do not know about prices since it has been quite a while since I had any plumber. I might look around a little bit the next time, but they are fine on everything else and I may pay the extra to get them again.
