A to Z came in and ran gas lines for my gas range (convert from electric). Very happy with scheduling, time the project took, and professionalism of plumber! A to Z also converted our wood burning fireplace into an infrared electric fireplace and custom built trim to hold the new fireplace in the opening. My husband and I are elderly and the wood fireplace was of no use to us due to the physical aspects of carrying wood and cleaning ash. The electric fireplace is the perfect solution to add warmth while keeping the utility bills low! We have had several home items addressed (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, handyman tasks) by this company and would highly recommend them for all your home needs!

Tom Ferguson did a great job for us. We are in the middle of selling our home and the new buyers requested a sump pump in the crawl space. This was time sensitive due to needing the work completed before the closing date. When Tom arrived he found there was a lot of water under the house which made it very difficult to install the pump. He got under there and got it done and done right. The pump ran for a little over a day on and off before all of the water was gone. I would highly recommend Tom. Great job at a fair price.

I am so glad I hired A to Z Services to replace a garbage disposal and repair a switch! Tom and his son were professional, courteous and efficient. Their fee was considerably less than the ones quoted by other plumbers I called, and none of the others could have repaired the switch. They gave me some excellent advice on maintenance: Never use so-called garbage disposal cleaners! They break down the seals. Just use ice! I look forward to hiring A to Z for other work that needs to be done in my home.

It went great. Tom Ferguson, the owner, had the AC up and running in 15 minutes. I have him and his team perform services for us for the past several years. He is very reasonable, thorough and polite.

He was quick to get back with me but the work was delayed due to a family medical emergency. we were in no hurry so the delay was fine. The worker was quick and efficient and we were pleased with the results.

Excellent job--when he showed up. Waited > 2 months (in fairness, partly because there was illness in his family) and never did get the most important thing fixed (heat loss through a door)--at a loss to us of $800 in electric bills. Didn't return phone calls, and when the issue was addressed directly with him, he denied responsibility. Our advice: hold his feet to the fire. Does very well indeed on certain fixes, obviously knowledgeable and cost reasonable. But if he doesn't respond in a timely manner, find somebody else. We are.

was I had contacted him several times regarding when his guys were coming out regarding my kitchen floor pulling away from the baseboards and every step results in squeaking. Granted, when the weather was bad, I knew I would have to wait until it warmed up a bit and the snow went away to get into the crawlspace. Since I did not hear back, the last message I left on the company answering machine was that I was getting an estimate from another company and I would not bother him anymore. He then left a message on my phone that they could come out on Tuesday the week of the 17th of February and to call him back if I wanted them to come out. I called back (2/15/14) in the morning. He said nothing about an estimate and said they would be out Tuesday morning. I told him that I would be off work on Monday and that would be a better day for me so I would not have to take off work and he said he would check his schedule later in the day and call me back. He eventually called back. The job they did in December for me went very well and I gave them an A in all categories. They came out on that Monday and did the work and put shims where the floor was squeaking under the house. Then when that was done, Mr. Ferguson told them to clean my gutters and they worked on my front door which was not closing properly. They were there from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. I hadn't planned on this other work being done. I called back several times about the floor squeaking again in a certain area. Mr. Ferguson came out and said he would have the guys come back out and he also mentioned materials cost and labor. Obviously, the work was not done correctly in the first place and to fix it he wanted more money. That was several weeks ago, and I have never heard back from Mr. Ferguson. The floor is still squeaking but I am not calling him back.

I called the company and talked to Mr. Tom Ferguson. He came to my house and gave me an estimate early one morning before I went to work (which turned out to be what the job cost). I wanted to get the range replaced before Christmas and his guys came out and got the job done. They removed an old drop in range with a stand alone range. The cabinets had to be sawed down on both sides and the piece at the bottom removed. I was afraid that the cabinets would look terrible, but they look great. They removed the old range and hauled it away. They installed the new range and was a perfect fit. They also replaced the over the range microwave and hauled the old one away. The time it took to complete the work was what Mr. Ferguson said it would take. Personally, I am not used to a service provider being honest and doing a job correctly from the start. I am very happy with the job they did and would definitely recommend them for anyone wanting a job done right. They were very professional and took pride in their work.

Deck repaired nicely. Cleaned up well when completed.

Tom come out the day after we talked. He and his staff got to work right away and took care of many items. They were all professional, on time, and considerate. I particularly appreciated the many ways Tom suggested I could save money. I will definitely use him again.
