I called Taylor Services on Monday morning because our basement toilet was leaking. I had removed the toilet and observed that the flange that holds the toilet down had rusted beyond use. The screws that held it to the cement floor were badly rusted. Taylor Services was able to add me to their schedule the same day. They gave me a 1 hour window for arrival and called when they were twenty minutes away. Very courteous and professional. The work was also performed professionally in just over an hour. Nate was the plumber who did the work. Included in the $232 cost was a new stainless steel flange, new wax ring, and reinstallation of the toilet. This was an excellent service and I will definitely use them in the future.

The plumber came out on time. We fortunately had shut offs put in since we have really long lines between the road - house-barn-second barn. The plumber shut off each section and confirmed which segment was leaking. He quickly diagnosed the issue on the segment when he found the frost-proof hydrant was not shutting off completely. He adjusted the hydrant and confirmed the meter was not showing any slow leak. The office left a message a couple days later to make sure everything was satisfactory. I rechecked the meter a week later and no leaks indicated! We highly recommend Taylor Plumbing! He have used them for several plumbing jobs and have had great experiences each time! I'd like to update our review and say our next two water bills were half of what they were before the repair! I only wish I would have called them sooner instead of just wondering if we had a leak since our bills kept increasing. This is a great company to call if you need plumbing repairs!

Fixed both problems in a very short period of time. Very reasonable charge for the service. Came out same day.

They came out immediately, preventing this huge disaster. They were fantastic and very friendly. The receptionist is super friendly and helpful. They are our go to plumbers now.

They are very easy to work with. Respond quickly. Always friendly. Do excellent work in a timely manner with reasonalble cost.

Two plumbers started work at approximately 11 AM and finished at about 3 PM. They arrived in two large trucks that were well supplied with parts. Since the baths had new tile floors, a longer than usual fitting was required to set the toilets. This did not hold up the project since the fittings were delivered by a third plumber. The plumbers were well prepared to work on relatively old plumbing. They had all the connectors and other items needed for the installations. They were careful to check for leaks and sink drains. Some drain clearing was required.

Left word on answering machine and received a callback the following am. Was told that they were booked that day but could come the following afternoon. Came as promised. Very professional and polite. Had both problems completed within an hour and did a walk through to double check all connections.

It was great. My experience with them was fine. I don’t have anything in particular. They showed up on time and did the work. It was fine.

CI would definitely use this company again. I called at noon, which I received a message that they would be back from lunch later. I got a call back and a was told someone could come out later today around 2:30pm. Someone showed promptly at that time and was had fixed the problem quickly. Nate, the one who showed, was polite, kind and professional. I highly recommend them.

Taylor Plumbing installed vanity, sink, faucet and an upflush toilet in my basement and a new faucet in my upstairs bathroom. They were very friendly, on time and thorough. I will definitely use them again for my plumbing needs.

They were local company and that's one of the reasons why I wanted to us them. They were a good company to work with.

It was a very good day! Called late am and had hot water by early evening. Was delayed about an hour because after unpacking new tank it had been damaged. The service man had to make an extra trip for replacement tank but all went smoothly. My hats off to Taylor Plumbing of Smithville - customer service excellent and service tech was outstanding!

I cannot say enough good things about Taylor Plumbing. Our water heater experienced Spontaneous Massive Existence Failure on a Tuesday. We got several quotes from plumbers and called Taylor on Friday to set the appointment. The appointment was for between 1-2. At 1pm they called me to tell me that they were loading my new tank into the van and would be there in about 10 minutes. They were professional, clean, courteous and fast. They tested everything to make sure that all faucets and showers were getting water.

The quality of the work they did was pretty good.

Smoothly. Arrived on time. Suggested a number of different options. We went with the simple fix. He did it. We have had no issues since.

They are very prompt, friendly, and easy to work with. He was out within 30-45 minutes of our call.

About 4 days after coming out to provide me an estimate they called back saying they were too busy to do the work I needed to have done. I can appreciate that but wish they would have told me sooner. The person doing the estimate should have been able to tell me that when he was onsite. So, I would think they could have referred me to another company in the area to do the work. They had no recommendations for me. That was frustrating. Any professional company should know their market and competitors. Also, when I asked if they could at least provide a ballpark estimate they said no and didn't have the time. So, my project was delayed a few weeks while calling around to other companies and getting quotes. In the end, it was $3,000 day and half project. I am shocked Taylor Plumbing could not estimate that or provide further assistance. Maybe all they are good for is unclogging a drain or are a company that is too busy to provide quality service. I don't recommend them based on my experience.

Disappointed. Called out a second time for the same problem. (very low water pressure at sink facet). First time, very low water pressure on hot water side of kitchen sink, plumber decided it was a pipe issue and replaced piping. A few days later, very low water pressure on hot and cold water side of kitchen sink, plumber cleaned out facet aerator and determined it was a water heater issue. Spoke with water heater company, they say it's not a water heater issue as the problem is on both hot and cold water sides, not covered under warranty. Spoke with company that installed water heater and they don't think it is a water heater issue either but are willing to come out and look at it for the cost of a service call. Spoke with Water Dept and all water pipes in our area less than 3 years old. (one thought was it could be another piping issue). Very frustrated and disappointed.

It was pretty major work. It was very good. They were very detailed and knew their stuff. They're a long-time local company. The owner was actually out doing the work. It is a second generation company. They were prompt on time, pleasant and explained everything.

We had a miss communication on the first try but was worth the wait. Very friendly and professional. Service was done quickly and will use again in the future.

It was a very good experience. Brian was very personable and efficient. He took the time to warn me that there might be damage to the countertop when he removed the old sink (There was not but I appreciated his honesty up front.) The work went well, and the sink and faucet look awesome. More importantly, nothing leaks in the kitchen or the bathroom! I would definitely use this company again.

My sewer line started backing up over the weekend. I had a contractor that was to set a new toilet in a remodeled bathroom on Monday. I called LuAnn at Taylor Plumbing when they opened Monday morning at 8a. She needed to check the schedule and would call me back. She called back within 30 minutes and would be able to get me in that morning. Nate arrived at 9:45am and got to work. He cleaned the sewer line out 100 feet from the inside of the house and got a few tree roots. He was done by 10:30sm. I also asked Nate about my water heater not performing as I expected and he advised on probable cause and gave me some quotes for replacement water heaters. My rating of B for quality was due to the lack of cleaning of the waste around the drains. Some was there when he began, but additional was caused by the augering and was not removed.

They were very quick to respond, same day service, would use them again in the future.

I would recommend them. They showed up on time and it was on an emergency basis. They did a good job, they were very polite and they cleaned up after themselves. I chose them because they were on Angie's List, they were the first one I called and they had good ratings.
