Description of Work: Contacted provider via email for estimate to replace smoke detectors. No response for approximately 10 days, then received email request to provide phone numbers so they could call with information. Home and cell phone numbers provided, never heard back from them

Description of Work: Installed 4 porch lights. It went as planned. Also got an estimate for future rewiring work. Seems reasonable.

Description of Work: They evaluated the electrical output of several outlets. He diagnosed the problem and corrected. He also discussed the option of a household surge-protector which my husband opted to purchase. | |He also pointed out some issues that we may want to consider for future work. | |He was not a hard sell on any of the suggestions he made.

Description of Work: Purchased two hours of electrician time for $119. We worked out a day for the work, and he was prompt, courteous, professional, and had good suggestions about the project. He added a box for a ceiling fan and installed it. There was no ceiling fixture, so he had to go into the attic, run the wiring and set the box strongly enough to support the fan. He also replaced a few wall outlets that were worn out. All within the two hours allotted. The materials necessary ran $40. I have some additional projects for later and will use them again.

Description of Work: This was the second time I used Zack at Mr. Electric. An electrical box had pulled away from the house and was getting moisture into the wood. After KCPL cut off the power, Zach replaced the wood behind the box and caulked the box next to the house. He did a meticulous job and I was very pleased with his work. He has an excellent work ethic and I plan to use him again.

Description of Work: Installed a ceiling fan where there wasn't one before. He did a great job fishing wire and minimizing the sheetrock damage needed. The issue came with the Hunter fan having a manufacturing issue. When on high the fan was badly out of balance. We worked together to try and balance it for half an hour and were unable to, but to no fault of his own.

Description of Work: Zack and Mark did an excellent job. We lost our cable TV, internet and all bathroom outlets after a heavy rain. It was traced to an outlet installed by the cable provider along with several other problems in the electrical lines installed originally in the house and also a number of years ago in our yard. They kept at it and were able to solve our problem. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: This is my second review of Mr. Electric. We had them back after a successful 1st visit using a coupon. We will continue to have them back for several other electrical problems we still need to resolve but must go slowly as we can put the repairs into our household budget. Mark, the electrician, is great.

Description of Work: Hired Mr. Electric to move a chandelier, install another chandelier, install some exterior lights and change some switch functionality. Took a bit longer than I anticipated but the price was right! I wasn't even sure that what I asked was possible with changing switch functions, but he made it happen. I only wish I could find a plumber as good as Mr. Electric. I will most assuredly use Mr. Electric again.

Description of Work: They rewired a stove top and did an excellent job. They wired a barn for us for lights, plug-ins and fans. We were very happy with the work and the short time it took to complete. They cleaned up the mess nicely in the barn. We had outside outlets put in for water tanks for livestock heaters. The electrical work was fine with no problems. My only negative comment is that they did not fill in the trench they made to put in the lines to the stock tank heaters. They told me they would then they asked my husband if they could not do this and of course he told them "No, he would take care of it." Of course he did not and there are still holes out there. I am not sure who I am the most irritated at for leaving that part of the job undone. If they were not going to fill in the trench, I feel like they should have stated that up front instead of not doing it later. Otherwise the actual electrical work was well done. Would I use then again, Yes. But I would get it in the contract to fill in any trenches or holes.

Description of Work: They replaced a single light switch that was controlling 2 overhead lights and a ceiling fan with a switch for the lights and separate controls for the fan.
