Convenient, prompt, well done, and very reasonable.

One of my beautiful Italian halogen floor lamps just needed a new bulb (which is difficult to install because if its complicated structure). The other lamp stopped working a few months after I had an expensive repair at another lamp repair place, When I brought it into them, I discovered it was under new management. The woman refused to honor the previous repair and wanted appoximately $150 to fix it, telling me that halogen lamps are "terrible," When I brought both lamps into Nick, he had them fixed the next day. He charged $10.50 for parts and $25 for labor! No statements about how terrible halogen lamps are -- he just quietly fixed them! (I brought in another broken Italian halogen lamp where a screw had broken, and Nick pointed out that it needs a plastic screw, which he did not have. I'm searching the Internet for one now.) I'll never go to anyone else to repair my lamps. He's terrific!

Parts were not installed in correct alignment, which was accommodated by using a period-inappropriate turn knob. Lamp slightly damaged by trying to force alignment. Took lamp to another repairman to finish repair.
