We called the company and the man said they would send someone out, and a very polite young man came out the next day and gave us a price for the work and supplies and promised to come back in one or two days and put in the new vents and he did. We were happy with the work and glad it was done quickly..

Excellent job! I would recommend them for anyone and plan on using them again in the near future.

Job went well

The Joplin F-5 tornado in late May heavily damaged my daughter's roof and outbuilding. Shingles were shredded, penetration holes were through both structures, and Boyer was quick to respond. At first they covered the largest holes in the roof as they offered an estimate. Based on Angie's List I hired the firm. They were top notch professionals. The job was quickly completed, to out satisfaction, and they cleaned up both worksites. True professionals in a trying environment.

The roof on this house was severely damaged in the May 22 tornado due to both high winds and trees coming down on top of the house. There were holes in the roof and most of the shingles were damaged or missing. We called to get estimates from Boyer's Roofing, Lowe's and HomePro. Dustan from Boyer's showed up on the same day I called. He climbed up on the roof, walked and measured it and wrote me an estimate on the spot. The estimate was very reasonable, but because this was damage which had to go through our insurance company, I waited to get the estimates from the other companies as well. Lowe's was unable to get anyone out to give me an estimate until 6 days later and their price was over $1,300 more for the same and quot;upgradedand quot; shingles. HomePro was unable to give me an estimate until 15 days after we'd received the estimate from Boyer's. Their price was about $2,600.00 more than Boyer's and that was the price with the cheaper 3-tab shingle(!), so they would charge almost twice what Boyer's charged for the Heritage 30-year shingles. All estimates were submitted to our insurance company, but we were allowed to choose which one we wanted. We chose Boyer's Roofing and the shingles were delivered within 24 hours of choosing our shingle color, then the work began at dawn the next morning. All work was finished within about 12 hours and they cleaned-up all debris. We are very satisfied with the work and are planning to use them again for all our other roof repairs. Their workmanship is excellent, they use superior quality products and they kept us in the loop every step of the way, explaining the process and exactly what needed to be done, how and why. Dustan even replaced some decking in a few places for free. Can't say enough good things about them. They are professional, the estimate was given to me in a very timely manner and all work proceeded asap. And their price was extremely competitive.

I think Dustan and his crew were just great!! They have a great personality, very polite, hard workering, friendly and they did just what they said they would. I have absolutely no complaints at all. When Dustan came to our house, I showed him what work I needed done. He showed me the best option for the job which helped save me money. We worked out the best time for them to come out to do the work and Dustan called me the night before to confirm the appointment. I told him that would be ok with me. They showed up on time and got right to work. They did everything in 1 day like he said they would and a little extra. They cleaned up everything, loaded up and on to check on another job, leaving no mess at all. They are a very hard working bunch of guys. I couldn't ask for anything better. Dustin was the foreman on a roof repair that we had done a year ago. He took his time replacing the chimney flashing which stopped a leak that five other roofers failed to recognize or repair properly. Dustin and Harry inspected the roof and found other errors that were causing leaks and corrected them. If we had found them earlier, to replace the whole roof, it would have been done correctly and the nightmare we went through could have been avoided. This time we needed siding repairs, Dustin recognized the problem and made suggestions that resulted in the repairs costing about half what we anticipated. They did an excellent job, with the work being done quickly and on schedule. We have had very bad experiences with other roofing contractors so when it comes to roofing and other home improvements we will not use anyone but Boyer Roofing. They are trustworthy, dependable and very competent at their work. They are also friendly, responsive to questions and they make home maintenance an easy experience. We highly recommend Boyer Roofing for roofing and home improvement services they provide.

He came out and did the job on the same day. He did a wonderful job. He was very responsive and very nice. His work is good and his prices are very reasonable.

Dustin was the only roofer out of five or so that I contacted to even call me back. He gave me an estimate within 3 days of my initial call, and the pricing was right in line with what I had researched on my own. We did only a partial tear-off, chimney flashing, etc. When we bought the home, the roof was only 3 years old. But, from what Dustin found, they never flashed the chimney completely, thus causing a major leak. The fact that no other local company bothered to answer their phones, nor return my messages, Dustin stood out from the word go. He was on time, on budget, and very professional all the way through clean up. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any job, and I surely wouldn't waste any time trying to call any one else.

Hail damage to our roof resulted in a two year nightmare of dealing with two roofing companies that put the “con” in contractor. A full explanation would take way too long. The first contractor was given money to purchase new shingles but intentionally bought defective ones and used a completely incompetent crew that did a horrible installation job. The second contractor hired to to clean up the first one's mess appeared to do a much better job but resulted in leaks in five different rooms in our home. This contractor would not make any effort to come back and correct the problem. Three additional roofing companies were contacted, they all came out and looked but refused to give us an estimate because they didn't want to clean up another contractor's mess. We checked on Angie's List and found Goad's Roofing. They had positive feedback from other customers. So we called and made an appointment. Ed showed up at the scheduled time, did an initial inspection and gave us an estimate. He said he wanted his crew to come and do a more through inspection before starting the job, which they did. They checked the entire roof, noting that they needed drain pipes, flashing and other materials to complete the job especially where the chimney met the roof. They had all of the required materials when they came to actually do the job. They were very knowledgeable in recognizing the potential problem areas and very through in locating them. They explained them to us in a very clear and understandable manner. They were very willing and open to listen to our thoughts and concerns about our problems. They actually got back on the roof and looked at the areas we brought up. We were very impressed with the time and effort they took solving the problem around our chimney. It had been a problem over the years and other contractors typically dabbed on some chalking or replaced a few shingles and called it good but it still leaked. The Goad crew did not just repair the problem but started from the beginning and did the job right. During the job, Ed would come over, check with the crew on the status of the job, then come and update us on the progress. This never happened with any of the other contractors we had working on the roof. The crew were very professional and polite and very willing to answer all of our questions. They were very hard working, always on time and they made sure the yard was cleaned before they left. Ed and the crew foreman said repeatedly that if we had any problems to call and they would make sure they were taken care of. When the job was completed, Ed said he wanted to wait until it rained to check on the repairs before we paid him. Amazing!!

These guys were professional from start to finish. Did an excellent job and were very punctual. Would I ever use these guys again... ABSOLUTELY!!

The tear-off was 3 layers/ well done and in exlant time. Replacing decking/ job well done/ replacing shingles/ job well done. This crew has got there act together, they are very well mannered,honest and up standing we could not asked for a better boss and crew boss and hands to have done,and we say again job well done. Ed responded quickly with my estimate and then he and the crew came when he said they would. Within a few hours the job was complete. What really impressed me was that Ed then came back out to make sure I was happy with everything and explained again what they had done and what they had found. They also found some loose shingles that hadn't been previously nailed down. They took care of that with no extra charge.

My wife picked Goad's Roofing out of the phone book along with 2 others. Ed Goad showed up when he said he would to look at the house for any estimate. They were willing to use materials that we had on hand and supply others. He called with the estimate the next day and his price was in the middle of the three roofing companies. We chose Goad's because of thier experience and price. They said they would be able to start in two weeks but called in a few days and arranged to start five days earlier. The crew showed up on the scheduled morning and got right to work. I spoke briefly with them before leaving for work. They were polite and friendly. When I got home from work the job was complete, the yard was picked up and clean and everyting returned to it orginal location. Ed Goad called a couple of days later to see if the job was done to my satisfaction and to arrange for payment. The entire deal was handled professionally and and completed as promised. I would recommend that anyone looking for a good roofing compnay give Goad's Roofing a call.

I was given an estimate of the services to be performed which was extremely fair. The crew showed up exactly when they said they would and immediately started to work. No standing around talking or goofing off, they went to work and the only break they took was lunch and that was only an hour, if that, If they ran into anything unexpected they discussed it with me first before proceeding, if they came across a way to save me money they also discussed that with me first, they were professional in every way a consumer could ask. The workers were polite, respectful, and seemed to be very happy to be doing their jobs. i found that amazing as it was a fairly hot day for mid April. I could not be more pleased with this company. I will not hesitate to call them again for any job I need done. If you hire this company you will not be disappointed. They also showed up a couple of weeks earlier than expected, yippee!! However, the most amazing thing of all was after they had thoroughly cleaned my yard of all nails and debris I offered the foreman and owners father in law a check (who by the way came by twice during the day to check on the work and make sure I was pleased with the job) he declined saying he would not take a check until I had a detailed receipt!! He stated he would come back later for a check! This is one check I will happily write.

They arrived on time, started working immediately. They protected the windows with sheets of plywood so they werent damaged when the old shingles were thrown from the roof. There were two men on the ground cleaning up as the shingles were slid off the roof so there was no mess. The job took a little over two days and my yard was cleaner than it was when they started. The roof is beautiful and the workmanship is guaranteed as well as the shingles having a guarantee. This roofing company also sub contracted the guttering work, it was finished a day or two after the roof. Both jobs were done at the price i was quoted with no hidden surprises.
