Description of Work: I have used this company several times. They have done annual recharge and checking of system. They have straightened the fins in the outside AC unit after hail damage. They have saved me a new compressor cost when a starter capacitor solved the problem. Replaced a circuit board on my furnace Always very prompt and reasonable in repairs.Will always use this company when needed.

Description of Work: Our 35-year-old Singer-brand home heating & air-conditioning unit developed a loud squeak, like birds chirping. As usual, we changed the air filter and oiled the motor, as we do regularly. That did not fix the problem. So I asked a friend who to call. A friend recommended Rick, owner of Sedalia Heating. I talked to Rick who said they were very busy with hot-weather A/C problems with other customers right them but that he would come out to check our A/C unit in two days. He showed up on time, pulled the A/C unit apart, found a badly-worn bearing unit in the A/C fan, replaced it with a part from his truck and was on his way in less than one hour! I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I was pleasantly surprised that Rick would have such a unique replacement specialty part in his truck to fix my odd Singer A/C! Usually, companies have to special order such parts, which can take days! I understand this company has been in business in Sedalia for many, many years. Now, I can see why they are authorized Lennox dealer and do sales, service and installation. I would highly recommend Sedalia Heating & Air to anyone who needs quality work done on time at a reasonable cost. I called Sedalia Heating & Air only after I had just has a bad experience with another Sedalia heating & air company that came out and just replaced a small belt on my A/C motor and they said that would fix the squeak. That company charged me $135 to just install a small belt and that never fixed the problem! When I called back to tell them my A/C was STILL squeaking, they said they would come out to take another look. They never came back and they never called me back! But they kept my money! Thats when I call Rick at Sedalia Heating & Air. The lesson here is: Call Rick at Sedalia Heating & Air for service or installation of your heating/air-conditioner unit. They do great work at reasonable rates and they arrive when they say they will. They do it right the first time! Thanks. Rick! Keep up the good work!
