There were some challenges with the ground that they had to adjust and work around but they did it and completed everything as promised.

Description of Work: Called Ric and he promptly answered the phone. His price was very high and he wanted to charge a $45.00 delivery charge; a total of $200 and that did not include stacking. $200 was just the price to dump it on my driveway. Summit Farms at the Kirkwood Farmers Market is cheaper than this.

+ 0 moreTomasi's Cutting Edge are honest. They were prompt in doing their estimate. They said to just call them and they would come out and work it. We're waiting to get the few dollars together to do it. My wife was her when they came out for the estimate. She's insistent that we're going to use them, so she must have been impressed.
Description of Work: We have a hill in the back of our property, so all the water goes into our yard. They're going to make a little dry creek, or rock bed, for the water to go through. We haven't done the project yet, but we're going to use them when we do.

+ 1 moreWe’ve been very happy with Ric’s service. He’s very flexible with pricing. For example, if there’s a big project he’s willing to break it down into manage steps. I think the quality of his work is good, and I would definitely recommend him to others.
Description of Work: They’ve done a wide variety of work for us ranging from small to large. Their work has included fixing drainage problems, planting shrubs and trees, trimming work, removing a dead tree, and mowing as needed.

Description of Work: Tomasi's does my lawn service and I have to tell you - they are wonderful. Ric is wonderful to work with, very responsive to questions and requests and I would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone or any type of lawn. The ground in my yard is uneven and it's a tough mow but they make it look beautiful every time. The cost per mow is different I think - he estimates it by the lawn and job individually but I pay $39 per mow.

+ -1 moreMy bushes and trees were quite overgrown. Tomasi's performed very well on this challenging job. They provided a detailed estimate of every major task. This ensured we accurately communicated what was going to be done and permitted refinements to minimize the price. They started when they said they would. They had to delay completion by about 1.5 weeks, but they kept me informed. When they rescheduled, they again came when they said they would and worked extra hours to complete the job that day. There were no surprises. My anxiety level was minimal. They were all professional and good to work with. They also performed several tasks that exceeded contract scope without charge, to maintain their quality standard and help me out. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Trimmed overgrown bushes, removed bushes and roots, cleaned beds of unwanted plants and leaves, edged beds, put mulch on beds, added topsoil and graded/seeded part of lawn, pruned low branches of several trees, cleaned gutters, and fertilized yard

If they miss a day due to the weather, they always call to say when they will be out. Their prices are competitive. Not too high and not too low. They are worth every penny that they charge!
Description of Work: They planted about 12 plants which included a hemlock and Cyprus tree in a 120 x 20 foot flower bed. They split some existing hostas, fertilized, weeded, trimmed and put down mulch in the front beds also. They also cleaned out the drain pipes that were clogged. Job was completed in a little over a day.

The project was delayed due to rain, he called to discuss the situation and gave me a date in which the project would be rescheduled. He worked very hard, did a very nice job, and did an excellent job to ensure the work site was clean when he left. He spent extra time cleaning the street to ensure everything was in the condition before the project began. Ric was very friendly, professional and I would highly recommend his company.

Description of Work: Ric Tomasi collected and hauled away our old rock from large areas in the front and back yards and from the beds on the side of the house. He replaced the old rock with large lava rock. He created a natural barrier for the beds that didn't have a exterior walls. He did lots of little extras that he didn't have to (and didn't charge us for). For example, he pulled out some small bushes for us as well as turned a small grassy strip that my husband had difficulty mowing into part of a landscaped bed. He is personable and professional. We have also used his service for mowing (29 dollars a mow for our goodsized yard- includes edging and blowing). We have also used his company for grub treatment (55$) and crabgrass treatment (60$). We have been very satifsied with both the quality of his work and his dependability. He is very easy to work with and we will continue to use his company for all our lawn and landscaping needs.
