Nations Drywall Repair

They came, they saw, and they conquered the job within days which was important because I was under a deadline. I'll use them again if I ever need drywall.

Rich Nation was very prompt in providing an estimate and getting the work done. He did a great job for an exceptional price. Although I was out of town when the actual work was done, he communicated with me to keep me informed of progress. The work entailed resurfacing a ceiling and all walls in a large master bedroom in which several layers of wallpaper had already been removed leaving a lot of damage to the drywall. The popcorn ceiling had also been scraped. Another individual had already tried to do some repairs with joint compound and had only made the situation worse. I had gotten an estimate from another contractor who wanted to just put up new drywall over the old and start all over, and his estimate was MUCH higher. I was not inclined to put up new drywall and couldn't afford that contractor's estimate. I was delighted to hear that Rich was not intimidated by the job and felt confident that he could give me a good finished product although the walls and ceiling would have to be textured rather than smooth. I didn't want heavy texture on the walls and Rich did the job with a very nice, light texture. The ceiling got a little heavier texture and looks great - at least it's not popcorn! After I got it all painted over, the room looks awesome. He also did a great job of isolating the work from the rest of the house so that there was no dust everywhere to deal with and he left everything clean.

All of the work was EXCELLENT. I would recommend this company to family and friends.

Richard did some drywall repair for me. He was reliable and always showed up just when he said he would. The work was done very professionally. He worked hard to match the paint and succeeded quite well. Overall, I was very pleased with his work and would definitely hire him again.

The crew of two started on Monday and finished on Friday. They were very considerate of furniture and flooring and took special care to work outdoors on cutting trim and other pieces to make sure the house did not fill with dust. Every night they cleaned up and asked if we wanted anything uncovered. They communicated their progress throughout the day and every afternoon when they left. Very professional and would recommend them to all my friends. Very quick to come out to estimate and was able to fit us into their schedule in short time.

Job was done competently and professionally. Only fly in ointment was they did not notice adjoining drywall went all the way to floor necessitating installation of baseboard for entire room which was not previously needed. Work was done to standard practices, but variance should have been noted. Price was adjusted to reflect additional work and materials.

They put a complete plastic shroud to isolate the work area to keep dust to a minimum for this type of work which was appreciated. It took about 4 days to complete the job. The final product looked like they put new drywall up which was amazing. Next time around I would probably pay to have it primed afterward as well. Very nice to work with and I will eventually have them back for more of the same work in other rooms.

Contacted Richard on a weekend and he quickly returned our call within 24 hrs. He came out and met with us, walking through the different options we had as we had a few tricky areas around some media equipment that we needed to build soffits around. He was able to provide us a quote which was well within our price range and we felt was very competitive for the amt of work that needed to be completed. We decided to start the work in just a few weeks after the holidays. Richard was very detail oriented, polite and respectful of our home. He was always on time, if not early, and it took about a week to complete the job with the required wait time between mudding and taping. He did a great job and everything turned out exactly as we had hoped! Will definitely reach out again in the future for any drywall repairs or work that we might need!

Richard was on time to his appointments with us from his estimate visit to his planned work schedule. During the work period he made sure flooring and furniture was covered with drop cloths. At the end of each days work he picked up debris and vacuumed up dust and small pieces. We did not have to do any follow-up cleaning. He is a very talented drywall finisher and finished all the ceiling and wall areas to the appearance of one continuous area that blended and matched the original ceiling and walls. His work included a primer coat of paint with a sand finish swirl on ceiling and some wall areas. Overall we were well pleased with his work and thought that his fee was reasonable for the value received.

Richard responded within the day to phone calls. He did the work within 4 days. It went extremely well. Richard is experienced, skilled, professional, patient, thorough and trustworthy. He was always on time. He takes pride in his work and does quality work. We will use him in the future and highly recommend Nation's Drywall.

Richard returned my call the same day I contacted him and gave us a bid the next day. He started the job the next week. Although our job was small in comparison to his other jobs, he never treated it as such. He was very knowledgable and courteous. He replaced and repaired the drywall ceilings in both locations. He was always prompt and finished the job when he said he would. I would definately call him again if I needed dry wall repair work done and will recommend him to anyone needing that kind of work.

Showed up for estimate when he said he would. Called a few days before he said he would be starting the project and was on time then as well. Was professional, kept work area clean and did a great job.

Richard and his assistant did a fabulous job. They were prompt every day that they worked, professional, and worked hard to keep the house clean. Richard was always responsive to phone calls as well. Finished product was very well done and he was very attentive to details.

It went well overall. Richard was there for 2 days patching my drywall and sanding it. He kept it clean and was very courtious.

Richard and his assistant arrived promptly each day and immediately started work. On day 1, they made sure to cover all floors with plastic, and before starting, Richard reviewed the specs of the job again to ensure we were still in agreement as to what work would be done. Richard and his assistant were professional, friendly and hard working. I appreciate his making every effort to accomodate my work schedule, something not every company is willing to do. Clean-up was done to my satisfaction and Richard told me to call him immediately if I noticed any rough spots or holes once I started painting.

Overall, they were great. He was great about getting back with us in a reasonable amount of time (typically less than 24 hours). He was always knowledgeable and respectful. He took a little over a week to complete approximately 800 square feet of walls and ceiling. There were some tricky areas they had to work with. During the process, I was a little worried, because the work area looked a little messy. However they cleaned EVERYTHING! (including our phone which was in the same room). It looks amazing! We would definitely use him again.

Work was completed in less time than expected with great results. Very happy with total experience.

Very good overall job, the entire job took about 1 week (1700 sq.ft.). However be prepared for major *dust*, if you have hardwood floors clean them everyday--waiting to the end is not the answer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Richard and his crew are safe and friendly guys !

Work went very well; punctual and clean; The large hole looked great and required no further attention. The difficult seam looked so much better. I did do a little more work to it (small amt of putty one area and light sanding in another) before painting it but in fairness to them, I did not call them to come back because it was so minor i could do it myself. After the paint went on the wall was "seamless". I would use the company again.

Fair pricing, great work, I would definitely hire him again, and plan to.

He has done several things for us. He started doing some patching of cracks and we really liked his work. He did a bedroom downstairs and a hallway that needed to be drywalled. He then did the rest of our basement. We were very happy with him.

Richard was extremely friendly and helpful. He came over and gave me a thoughtful estimate. He took the time to do the work the way it was supposed to be done. He even called me at several points throughout the process to ask me questions about how I wanted the room to be finished - he made sure the work was done exactly to my specifications. I have additional work coming up in the next few weeks and I've already told him that I'll be calling him again. The price he asked was extremely reasonable and the final product is outstanding.
