Martin Door

I've used them before in the past and they've always given really good service. They were very responsive. It was easy to set an appointment. They call and let you know they're on their way.

They were very punctual. Installed the door as discussed. No problems. We happened to like their choice of garage doors.

The office was very courteous and was able to schedule an appointment exactly when I needed it. The repairman called before arriving to let us know he was on the way and arrived at the expected time. He was very professional and repaired the door as expected. I would definitely use Martin again.

Service technician arrived early in the indicated time period, was very courteous and was very professional. He immediately accessed the problems and began work quickly. While he was working he was also very educational in providing detailed instructions on best practices for maintenance to ensure door would run trouble free for the longest possible time. Door now runs quieter and smoother than it ever has.

Well it was good at first but I found a lot of stuff in my windows that I didn't know. The service was good and the employees were good. After they installed them I even have one of the employees come in. My bathroom windows that was one bad thing and it was my bad thing. I put in sliding windows over my seat which was stupid in me because I can't open it now. You push the button and slide and pull out the same time.The other widows were tilt in which was great. The problem is it was they're suppose to come so high and you lock them and not being able to slide them together and you lock it but I say like it was 5 or 6 inches up and that you lock it in and no one raise it and get in do that window while you're in the house and they fall down. My front windows fall down and they stay up. I fount it out maybe a month or two. My first thought was intentional so I don't know what to say about them. The price they charge wasn't bad for all the things that I have them done.

On 5/2/13 Martin Door was called to check and give estimate on garage door that would not raise. Charged $88.00 for supposedly free estimate as advertised and stated he would return to replace coupler, weigh and adjust door. Also to check springs. On 5/6/13 a different serviceman arrived.. He was unaware of what the previous serviceman had promised to do other than replace the coupler. He did not have equipment to check the springs or to balance the door. My husband and I were annoyed at this incompetency and chose to take the problem elsewhere. Another charge of $83.63.

Spring on the door broke during the night, got ready for work and couldn't open the door. Martin door is located right up the road from me on 94. Waited till they opened, i think it was 7:30am. Lady who answered was nice and helpful. Recieved a call from the tech in about 20 min saying he was on his way. He got to my house, got the wife off to work, replaced both springs, it took about 1 hour to complete. The Tech did an excellent job, did some minor adjustments on the door, works better than ever. Cost was reasonable and affordable. Also, cost was discussed before repairs were performed. Great experienced, would hire them again.

Our contractor recommended Martin Door, so we visited their showroom on a Saturday and selected two options from their displays for pricing. The representative explained that since he was the installation guy, not the salesman, he couldn?t provide pricing one of our selections ?because it was new?. He quoted $1,416 on the second and said he?d have the salesman, Tim, give us a call with a price on the other one. We finally received a call from Tim the following Thursday. Tim said that Chuck asked him to call, and wanted to know what it was we wanted. I explained that we were waiting for a price on our second door selection. He said he had no idea what door we were talking about. So we made the trip again the following Saturday to start over. Again, the installation guy (Chuck) was working and couldn?t help us with pricing, but said he?d have Tim call. Finally, almost a week later, Chuck called back and gave us prices on both doors. This time, the one he had quoted weeks earlier was $1,586 and the other was over $5,200. Since we had several questions Chuck couldn?t answer, we decided to visit a third time on a Saturday when Tim was working to get to the bottom of it. We called in advance last Saturday, and luckily Tim was working; we were finally going to get this done, or so we thought. Our first question for Tim was why the price had increased over $100 from the original quote. He said he had no idea where either of those prices came from, that the door we needed was actually nearly $1,700, but he was just guessing. In spite of the fact they had already measured, he didn?t have any of our paperwork, prior selections, or quotes. He refused to honor either of the prior quotes. At that point, we decided to take our business elsewhere. This company is a joke.

Serviceman (Earl) arrived on time and was very informative regarding what needed to be repaired and why. Answered all my questions and gave me tips on yearly maintenance of the door. I felt Earl was trustworthy and knowledgeable in his field. I would use Martin Door again and would request Earl to be my serviceman in the future.

The spring broke on my garage door making it impossible to open. I called Martin Door and made an appointment for the following morining. The techician, Mike, arriived promptly at 8:00 and had the problem diagnosed immediately. Half an hour later my garage door was fixed. He even lubricated the door and told me how to maintain it. He was very courteous and I was impressed with his work. I recommend Martin Door for quality work at a very fair price. i

The work was fine. He was very nice and advised me on how to keep the garage door kept up. They were very good!

Everything went smoothly and as expected.

My condo is sinking, and therefore my doors were getting stuck. It got to the point where I could barely open the front or back door. It was a safety concern for me. I called Jeff Woody (Sales) to let him know I needed help. He sent Phil, (Installation Manager) to evaluate the situation. Phil then set up an appointment to have repairs conducted. I am now able to open and shut the front door with ease. The back door was nearly impossible to open and keep shut... it needs to be rehung after my condo is piered. But they miraculously got that door operating a lot better as well. I wouldn't go anywhere but Martin Door for all of my window, door, & garage door needs. They are reliable, courteous, knowledgeable, talented... their work is outstanding.

On Thursday 01/31/2013 my son pushed the remote for the garage door to open. He said it made ay noise and the garage door tilted and the cables broke and the rollers were on the ground. I called the next morning for service and they gave me a 4-hour window. They came in the allotted time frame and had it fixed very quickly. The technician was very nice and we would definately use them again. The price was $161.25 which is a little higher than I figured, but I was still happy with the work.

Excellent service. The installation team was very good and courteous. They clearly knew what they were doing, not only installing two new openers in our 3-car garage but also fixed a problematic garage door opener that another company had said could never be perfect. Martin Door fixed it beautifully.

We always use Martin Door & Window. We have used them for years. They are always helpful. We recommend them to everybody. They are real nice and you don't have to wait very long for them to come out and help you. I would tell people to go to Martin. We told our son to go there when he was having trouble with his garage door. The people are friendly, the service is good, and they always have the parts you need. Their prices are competitive. I will most definitely use this company in the future.

We had 2 garage doors installed. They are insulated. The sales person was very professional and knowledgeable. We unfortunately have an older home and had lead paint issues. However, I would recommend Martin Door without hesitation. We would definitely use them again for other improvements as we get to them.

Great! Serviceman was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. He worked hard and fast and gave me lots of tips as well. I will use them again!

I could not get into my garage with the possibility of another storm on the way. Everyone in their office and the tech were extremely nice and informative. And the cost was very reasonable for replacing two roller springs. And they worked me into their schedule the same day. I would certainly refer this company to my relatives and friends.

I am satisfied with their service. I would use them again in the future.

Martin Door came out to give us an estimate very quickly. We did get an estimate from another door company (similar estimate), but the Martin salesman returned our phone call immediately and came out much faster than the other company. The rep also seemed to be more informed, and given the amount it was going to cost, the decision was a no brainer. Everyone from the initial salesman to the installers and then the billing person were great to work with. We liked then so much we're having them install a new garage door in the near future!
