 + -1 moreThis is the only one I've used since I've been out in this area and I think they're excellent. I have referred both my neighbors who take their pets there as well. They're very professional and the veterinarians and staff know what they're doing. They're experienced.
Description of Work: We go to a veterinarian. It's Fischer Animal Hospital. We took our pet there two months ago for a follow up for an infection.

 + -1 moreThe appointment and exam went fine. Blood work came back normal. However, trying to get my dog's prescription filled at the local pharmacy was a nightmare. At the appointment I had asked Dr. Fischer if she could write Zane's script for a 90 day's supply - 2 tablets twice a day for 90 day (180 tabs). She said that was fine. However, when I had the pharmacy call the office to have the script filled, they presented me with a bottle of 30 tablets. A 15 day supply. The pharmacy blamed the vet. The vet blamed the pharmacy. It took at least 6 phone calls to resolve the matter.
Description of Work: Dr. Fischer has provided veterinary services to my family's pets for the past 26 years. She is knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. I also appreciate that she is not afraid to say, "I don't know", when confronted with a difficult or complex problem, and is willing to provide referrals to specialists. Most recently my senior border collie had a physical exam and blood work done to ascertain if he was healthy enough to continue taking medication that helps with his arthritis pain and with aggression and anxiety. His exam included a detailed conversation about the issues he was experiencing, and what I hoped to accomplish with the medication.

 + -1 moreDescription of Work: The people at the hospital have cared for our multiple (9 at one time) cats for over 15 years. They have spayed/neutered them, treated them for diabetes, thyroid issues, and FIV. They have helped with newborns and euthanized when necessary. They have helped care for a frightened feral cat and a couple of bad-tempered indoor cats. They have taught us how to get a pill down an uncooperative cat's throat, inject insulin and administer fluids. They have cared for our animals as if they were their own. They have become friends. What more could I ask.

 + -1 moreMy pet had never had a dental and was around five years old. He is a pug and has crooked teeth anyway. The veterinarian was thorough in her evaluation of the pet before the surgery as well as very caring and professional after the surgery.
Description of Work: My pet had a dental procedure completed with teeth extraction. The doctor was excellent in performing the procedure as described and contacted me after to let me know how my pet was doing, as well as called the day after to check on the condition of my pet.

 + -1 moreWe have been active clients of the Fischer Animal Hospital for over 10 years now, and have always had excellent service for our cats and dogs. All the vets on staff, and especially Dr. Fischer, have provided quality service with a caring nature. It is apparent with every visit that the doctors and staff are truly concerned for the pets, and are not simply interested in growing a pracitce. Options are always provided when a condition is detected so that you can choose how best to proceed with the care of your pet.
Description of Work: Our cat was experiencing eating problems, so we took him to see Dr. Fischer for evaluation and treatment.

 + -1 moreDr. Fischer is very sweet and truly concerned for the animals. As a matter of fact, the whole staff at Fischer Animal Hospital is great! They all have been more than helpful on many occasions. They provide an excellent service!
