WOEMMEL PLASTERING

Woemmel Plastering came out very quickly when I called and gave a reasonable estimate. We set up a time and date to do the work and I proceeeded to have the chimney leak addressed. It was suggested I take a couple of weeks to make sure the leak was fixed so I had to call Woemmel and cancel our arranged date. They were very understanding about the delay. When they did come, they arrived at 7AM both mornings, moved the furniture and set up an area surrounded by plastic to work and hold the plaster in that area. They finished on time, cleaned up their area and put the furniture back in place. The plaster wall was beautiful and the molding looked as though it had never had any problems. They did a beautiful job.

After contacting Woemmel for a bid on the work I needed done in my home, they were very prompt and pleasant to talk to. The price for the job was reasonable but I am going with another company. I will let others know of this company if I am asked about getting this type of work done on their homes.

Mark came out to give us the bid and he went FAR beyond the call of duty. You could immediately tell this guy was friendly, helpful and personable. I called him about repairing some Stucco that was falling away on the back our house and before long we were crawling on my roof and he was giving me tips about preventative maintenance on a whole array of topics, giving me names of guys around the city to call for a good deal on products, and teaching me how to caulk... yes, really. Mark is fantastic. He gave me a fair price, we shook on it, and that was that. The only problem was that when his employee came out he performed half of the job, and left. No one communicated anything to us. A couple of days went by and I eventually had to call their office and was told the man had to finish up another project would be back in a day or two. Sure enough he was, and he did do a very good job. He also grumbled a bit about some particulars of the job, but it was a job well done none the less. We have a lot of stucco around our home, and Mark Woemmel will be the first person I call in the future should it need any work.

The service we received and the work that was completed by Woemmel Plastering was nothing short of excellent. They were reasonably priced, very professional and courteous, they showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves very well. The finished plaster work is excellent. I highly recommend Woemmel Plastering and will use them again in the future.

We found Woemmel Plastering on Angie's List. They had someone come out the same day to check out the problem. They emailed me an estimate to sign and email back. Christy was great and it was nice to get a person when I called. We were trying to schedule the work for after we had moved all our stuff out, and Christy was awesome at keeping me up to date on when we could get the work done. It worked out great! The plaster arrived right on time and was very nice/professional. He cleaned up everything once he was done. I would highly recommend this company!

We originally brought them out to repair stucco that the roofer thought was responsible for a water leak. When they went up on the lift to do the work they discovered that the chimney had substantial interior damage to the point that it was collapsing and blocking the flu for the boiler. Mark took me up on the lift to see the damage for myself and provided a couple suggestions for masons to tear down and rebuild the top twelve feet. He was very accomodating of the scheduling problems this created. In the end, the work was done so that you can hardly tell the new work from the original 90 year old texture. While their price was not the lowest bid by a fair amount, the final quality of the work was excellent and I don't regret spending the extra money.

this has to be the best plastering company in at least the region if not the whole midwest. from the estimate until the end of the job they were here on time, did excellent, intelligent flawless work and made us very glad to have met them. we have some more work we will call them in for later in the year. i recommend them to anyone, and in fact, they did work for a relative on my referral last month, same kind of repair.

Woemmel came out and performed an estimate within a day or two of my initial call - they also came at 7am, which I really appreciated because I didn't have to take off work to meet with them! Initially they told me once the bid was signed they were scheduled about a week to a week and a half out, but shortly after I sent the paperwork in, they called and found a spot to work me in right away! The gentleman that arrived to do the repair was extremely polite & professional and was very thorough with draping his work areas. It was a full-day job. Once completed, I was truly impressed with his ability to match the texture of the repaired areas with the surrounding wall. That was particularly important to me because I wanted a seamless look, rather then a sanded flat patch I would have gotten from other contractors that do not specialize in plasterwork. His repairs were a nearly flawless match and once painted it will look fantastic! The gentleman also did a wonderful job in cleaning up afterwards. After working with that dusty plaster, I was impressed that one would never know he had been there because he tidied up so well at the end of the day! I will definitely be calling this company again if I need more plasterwork!

.Upon contacting them by phone and speaking to the extremely polite and personable receptionist, I explained what my problems were and what work I would like to be done. She arranged an appointment time whereby someone would come out and look at my house and the damage that had been caused by the water. Steve, came to my home at the appointed time and from the very beginning presented himself in a professional business like manner. He looked at my damage and in detail described the rehab process in a very thorough manner, all the while asking my opinions and desires as to what and how I wanted the repairs to look like. His explanation process was easy to follow ans his professionalism permeated throughout. We came to an understanding about the work and he said he would go over the details, come up with a price once he returned to his office and then fax me the results. Two days later I received his price sheet with everything to be done printed and itemized..very well done and easy to read and understand. I signed the contract and faxed it back to their office. The two workmen showed up bright and early on the agreed upon date ready to work. They too, were professional and friendly!! They were careful not to disturb ar destroy anything in my home, they used extreme caution in preparing to work and from that initial time to the conclusion of the project examplified the same behavior and professionalism. The finished project...the living room walls, the lining room walls and the dining room ceiling, not only met my expectations but far exceeding them!! I now have walls that are fabulous but also contain the 'swirls' that have to this day received rave reviews from everyone who has seen the outstanding work of these two men!! Woemmel Company, you have brought joy to my heart and a non-ending smile of gratification and pride! Thank You!

They did a good job. It was very professional results. The price was good. The responsiveness and punctuality was great. I would use them again in the future.

The individual to do the work was punctual, hard-working and pleasant. He systematically worked through all the areas and finished all in one day. The plaster matches well. He cleaned up after himself and did not leave a mess of plaster. I am very happy to have all these areas fixed and my house looks much nicer!

Oh, how boring! Yet another perfect job at a reasonable price. There isn't much I can add to the praise offered by the other reviewers other than to say I would highly recommend these folks and will use them again myself should the need arise.

I called a few places about a huge crack in our stucco wall/ceiling that extended into some decorative plaster. I asked every contractor that I called if they worked with decorative plaster. A few folks passed on the job based on that. Woemmel and one other contractor bid on the project. The other contractor was just going to fill the crack and paint over it. Woemmel was able to show me how the whole ceiling needed to be re-secured to the rafters above it. It was clear that the entire area that included the decorative plaster was in danger of falling and being completely destroyed. I had asked the other contractor if the integrity of the ceiling was solid and she said yes. I did not have to ask Woemmel. He knew how to examine the area and assess its integrity. The work was done quickly and perfectly. This was done nearly a year ago and while I should have written then, I can further attest to the professionalism and perfection of this work many months later. Now, in addition to all this, Woemmel quoted a higher price initially. When they submitted their bill to me, they decreased the price to reflect the actual time spent and materials used for the job. I have often had a bill come in higher than expected but never had one come in less than the original bid. This honesty is yet another reason to recommend Woemmel!

Everyone was professional and very responsive from start to finish. A guy showed up to give me a quote the day after I first contacted the company. After I reviewed the quote and sent it back, I was offered to have the work done the very next day or 2-3 weeks in the future. I scheduled for the next day and spent that evening moving furniture and clearing out a closet in order to prepare. The day the work was to be done I initially thought the guy was running late... but just as I began to grumble about it, I got a call from the secretary letting me know he had been in a minor car accident that morning (yikes!). I thought for sure I would have to wait 2-3 weeks for the next available appointment, but they managed to schedule the work to be done the following day. (Hooray! I didn't have to live with my furniture all in disarray for weeks!) The following day he showed up right on time and got straight to work. At the end of the day all the work I had hoped for was complete except for one small area that there wasn't time for. All told, the turnaround time from initially contacting the company to having the work complete was less than a week, even despite the delay caused by the car accident. The work seemed to be high quality (in my unprofessional opinion) and I would definitely use this company again.

Overall it was a great experience. They were really good to work with. They ended up doing a really nice job.

Our whole experience with Woemmel's was terrific. We received an estimate in a timely manner. Cristy worked closely with me to find a convenient time to have the work done. The guys showed up on time, were friendly, courteous and respectful. The quality of their work was excellent....very obvious that they both took pride in the work they did. They repaired everything as estimated plus did some additional touch up work for us at the last minute. Everything was completed within the original time estimate and at a very reasonable price. I love the scallop pattern on my ceiling! I highly recommend Woemmel's Plastering and will definitely use them for any future work.

I have had them repair the walls on two different occasions. I had them to match the original plaster texture we have on the walls. Just recently, they also did some restoration work for me. We had plastered crown moldings that were quite ornate which was damaged by water. They made a mold and reproduced the design to replace the damaged section. They did an excellent work. I did not compare prices because they were specialized in this type of work and one just can’t find too many people that do that anymore. The restoration on the moldings was expensive. Just based on the regular wall work they did where they had to match the textures and everything, I would say that their price was fair. I would use them in the future.

They did a very good job, and their prices are reasonable. They were punctual and courteous. They came back and did touch up work after they were done. I was very happy with the job they did.

He came out to look at some things. He was very honest with me and positive. He said that his services would be overkill for what I needed done, so he suggested another person he works with. He wanted to save me money. I was very pleased. He came out with the other guy, as well. He was pretty prompt.

I was very pleased with the quality of the plaster repairs and the installation of the medallions. One ceiling light did come loose from the new medallion. It was an easy enough fix and happened because the installer had not done a good job of pushing the wires back into the hole with the installation. My advice would be to make sure they will do the removal and replacement of the ceiling lights, or if they expect you to do it. It seemed to me that they thought I would have the lights removed for them, but no one told me that. However, overall I was very pleased with the price, the quality of work and the finished product. I will call them for any future plaster work.

I was pleased with the service. He gave us an estimate and came in and did the job. He got it done pretty quickly so we were pleased. He seems to be good quality and we recommend his service to others.
