WOEMMEL PLASTERING

I had Woemmel come out to do some minor plaster repair on two walls in my home. They bid a price for me that was based on a couple of variables that would not be known until they started the work, and that bid was very reasonable. So I scheduled the work. They showed up perfectly on time, and the plasterer was a great guy. He worked incredibly clean, draping and taping a huge space to make sure that the kitchen (one of the rooms) stayed as clean as possible. The work was really excellent. Then, at the end, he told me (I did not ask -- he initiated this) that the bid was too high for the work they had to do and that he has texted the office to see if they could reduce the price accordingly. They agreed and cut the bill to fit the work. That is great service and integrity. So impressed. I will recommend these guys to my friends, acquaintances and probably even strangers!

The owner came out and did the estimate himself. He even offered to help with an additional repair that I was doing at no cost. He discussed the estimate with me thoroughly and answered my questions. He then had to wait for the roof repairs to be completed. We wanted to be sure that there were no additional leaks anyplace. He came and completed the work when called. He was very clean. And, did all the repairs quickly. I would very definitely recommend to other people. He's definitely a man, with a company you can trust.

Communication with Woemmel was wonderful. Cristy was very responsive and kept me up to date with openings and availability. Since we wanted to do this in the fall and bought it in the spring, we were very happy with the phone calls asking when would be a good time this September. On the work day, Brent and Jim showed up at exactly the time agreed upon and did a very thorough and professional job. They worked continuously all day and patched all the cracks listed and cleaned up all the dust. They were very conscientious covering all the furniture and stair carpet. Upon completion they gave us explicit instructions about when we could paint and that the wall would need to be primed before painting. We highly recommend Woemmel Plastering and would use them again in a minute.

The work began promptly when they said they would start. The workman had all of the tools and materials he needed. It took two days for the layers of plaster to be applied and to dry. You can't tell where the old plaster ends and the new begins. Workman was knowledgeable and professional. No issues, good experience.

The contractor was prompt and took a lot of time setting up dust barriers before beginning work. He was very careful to not get the dust from the old plaster all over the dining room and kitchen. He did a great job and cleaned everything up before leaving. It was a one day job.

Project took 3 or 4 days with two workers. It is one of the best experiences I have had with contracted work. Had no issues at all and peace of kind. The bid seemed high but after I watched the work be performed it was well worth it, A few months later the company sent a gift of food items, covered drinking glass with straw, note pads, in a tote ...all of which I have used. While this unexpected, it was much appreciated and a novel way to acknowledge a good business deal.

Interacting with the office team and getting an estimate was great. Cristy was very responsive in getting things coordinated. When it came time to schedule the work, there was some good flexibility in terms of when they came. On the day of the work, Brant showed up exactly on time and got started right away. I left for work, and he called about three hours later when the job was complete. When I got home, I was very pleased with the work. He even did a couple touch up areas that I had not originally asked to be done, which was excellent! The estimate was in line with others that I received, and the Angie's List discount brought it down to the lowest estimate!

Matched the existing unique plaster pattern very well and quickly and cleanly. Super friendly. Very meticulous and the man that did the work was truly an artist...we have a uniquely textured plaster effect in our house that he was able to match. Fantastic.

Within a week of approving their proposal, they started the job. Their workers covered everything to protect the floors and furniture. They worked 2 full days and completed the entire job. The work was excellent, and blended well into the older plasterwork near seamlessly. We were very impressed at their work ethic, and professionalism. Their office double-checked if we were satisfied, and the final bill was emailed (with no changes to the original quote). Although at first I thought the proposal was a little pricey, after completion I feel they definitely earned our business. Other types of repair work we have contracted for has left us with very low expectations. We're thrilled to say this certainly raised the bar back to where it should be--who knew there are still contractors that have pride in their work!? You get what you pay for, and their quality of work was worth it. We will have them back for our next remodeling phase!

Our roof leak was repaired within a week, which was as soon as weather permitted. It went just as planned. The guy even re-explained everything to my husband since he was not present during the initial inspection. They were quick, easy to get in touch with, and very professional. I would absolutely use them again, and in fact, plan on using them for some other services.

They came in and covered the two doorways into the bathroom with plastic that more than covered the opening and taped it down. No just pieces here and there but the entire length of the doors. It really kept the plaster dust from going everywhere. And it really will go everywhere if not properly contained! They worked tirelessly to do a perfect job, which I didn't see until they were finished as they were sequestered behind the plastic. They cleaned up, carted off their equipment, took down the plastic and removed all the trash, etc. I think they even shop vac'ed the bathroom but can't swear to that.

Very responsive, polite, neat and clean. Very efficient, explained everything, and wrote down the bid. Beautiful job. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again.

They haven't performed the work, yet. We have damage from a plumbing problem, but will use them for plaster work when the job is ready.

It turned out very good. I had two bedrooms with water damage. I contacted Woemmel and they came out within two days to give an estimate. They shared with me that it would be a couple of weeks before they could come out and do it. The first day, I met the gentleman and left him in the house while I went to work. He performed the work on the first floor. When I came back he had finished. Everything was put in place and neat. He came back again a couple of days later and did the second bedroom. Again, everything was done very well and very professionally. I cannot tell it was plastered. They had cleaned up very well after themselves.

The quote was loose but gave the worker enough to do the right work the first time. They were in and out and the work looks great. The price was a little steep but the quality was high. It is hard to know where the original plaster ends and the repair begins.

They did not end up doing any work, but they were great. He did not give me a quote. He just walked through and said I did not need to have anything done. He did not try to sell us anything we did not need.

The day after we called Woemmel Plastering, Steve came out to assess the problem and make a bid. He indicated that the earliest the plastering repairs in the ceiling could be done was probably a week or so. However, on the very next morning, Woemmel Plastering called at 8:30, apologized for the earliness of the call, but said that, since a plasterer had become available to do the job at 10:30 a.m. that day if it was agreeable to us. We responded by saying it was more than agreeable, it was wonderful. Jack the plasterer arrived even earlier, at 10 o'clock! starting right in after laying covering over the adjacent flooring. The only moment he paused during the next several hours, was to pat our ever-curious dachshund.. The ceiling upon completion was impeccable and left no indication that a repair had been made. The cleanup also was fastidious. Jack was friendly, courteous, and completely professional.

From the first phone call, prompt service...Steve came out and looked at the area and took down all the details of the problems...Next the Vice President came out and looked at it and gave me a bid...I informed them that I couldn't do the repair until the problems were fixed in the chimney and they said no problem, just contact them when I was ready....I called them back about 3 weeks later and set the appointment for repair up....Two repairmen came out and covered everything in the room before they started taking out the old plaster and repairing the wall and ceiling....the whole project was only about 6 hours and everything was cleaned up as the crew finished the job.....This company is fantastic to work with, from the office staff, the appraiser, the vice president and the crew who came out for the job....Any questions I had to any of them were answered quickly and efficiently. Great company and employees to have helping you with a problem in your home....Price for repair was great and their service to the customer is amazing...I would recommend this company for work and would use again myself when needed....Nice to have a company like this still in business.....

The man who came to give me the estimate on the work was very professional and efficient. When I called to schedule the work, there was not a long wait. The workman, Jack, was very friendly and professional and did a great job matching the texture to the rest of the ceiling!
