Volume Carpet

Walked into the store on a couple of occasions. Had help finding the carpet I had seen online and was looking for. On second occasion I checked the pricing, comparing to other estimates and found it was competitive. Ordered. It came in at the time promised. The contractor recommended for installation was good to work with as well, seemed reasonably priced, and did a good job laying it.

This review includes Volume Carpets and their carpet layer. The carpet layer they recommended was punctual and very helpful in moving furniture. We are on a concrete slab, and the carpet layer did a "commercial installation" using wider tack strips that were used previously, and also carefully adjusted transitions between existing floor and retiled bathroom, the latter more than an inch higher than adjacent floors. We have used Volume Carpets several times over the past decade, with equally good results. They are probably more expensive than the big box stores, but in this area, we believe you get what you pay for.

We have searched many stores for area rugs. We really liked Volume Carpets. It has an extensive collection of rugs as well as carpets that can be bound for use as rugs. The owners were very knowledgeable and helpful. When we arrived, they gave a brief tour and some basic info, which was appreciated. Not sure if we'll end up going with them, but their selection and prices were good.
