Description of Work: My granddaughter hired them for a deep cleaning; here is her experience: Told $30/per lady per hour and was fine with that and for as long as it took. The owner told me she could give me an estimate over the phone, based on square footage, number of floors, etc, -although I originally requested she come to our home for an in person estimate. She said it would take an hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours. To plan on $120, but it may not end up being that much. My mother was at my home at the time, and an hour in she texted me saying they had just finished on your the 3 bathrooms. Right after that, the lead cleaner texted me to say they wouldn't get every thing finished and asked what my priorities where. She stated they would need another hour to get it all done. I let her know I really wanted it all cleaned and that I was happy to pay that "extra hour." An hour and 15 minutes later, she texted to say they finished cleaning and we're leaving, but that the lowered level, dining room, and laundry room didn't get cleaned. I assumed they ran out of time before having another appointment, but was disappointed they didn't complete what I expected and was willing to pay for. Got home and what had been cleaned looked good, although a few things were missed in rooms I was told were finished. I had spoken to the owner during the day and she wanted to talk to her staff to find out what happened, and after she did, told me they informed her my home was "really dusty." I assure her I was aware of this as I had told her the reason we were hiring a cleaner was because we never have time to stay on top of it. She offered to send them back the next day,but after telling me it might take 1/2 hour, but then ended saying it would likely cost me another $60, I declined. (Confused how $60/ for 2 Ladies would be $60 for just 30 minutes.) The next day I paid her by credit card for the added hour, as agreed. Things got worse a few days later when my husband realized they had obviously knocked a collectible from the top of our 6 foot tall armoire (a piece of furniture we immediately discovered had not been dusted upon returning home the day of the cleaning). I texted the owner to let her know that the diecast car had obviously been knocked onto the floor, leaving a broken door, a bent antennae, a chip in the paint, a missing mirror, and a bumper that was missing half. She immediately replied "they said they didn't do it." We found the reply less than professional, and after several texts back and forth, she finally stated she would meet us in the middle and pay half. After my husband texted her an Ebay listing of the same car that I had bought him as a gift a few years ago, she called saying "there was no way she was paying $240 for a 6 year old car." She wanted to know what it cost then and we tried explaining that collectibles don't necessarily depreciate but often appreciate. She even suggesed our 4 year old may have done it. Told her he couldn't reach the top of the amoire! She got snotty, adding that they didn't clean that piece of furniture because of all the clutter (again, this came across as terribly unprofessional, and I called her out). Said she would have to think about what to do over the weekend. Tuesday came and she texted that she would not replace the car but would give us 2 hours free cleaning "a $120 value." We declined as that would not replace the car and, at this point, we are no longer interested in having them back in our home. She never replied. So for $180, we got a partial cleaning and a broken $200 collectible. Not to mention the disappointment of our first professional cleaning going very much awry.
