A bit on the pricey side.

Tom Hoffmann assumed that I knew that he was installing a "value" priced substitute for the TRANE Furnace I thought I was purchasing. When I complained, he said it is right there on the contract. I had never been exposed to "Ameristar" Brand Furnaces and he certainly did not emphasize the difference. The installer said they get that comment a lot but this is a good quality furnace with a multispeed motor. When the installers left; the fan was running but the house was getting cold. I turned up the thermostat, but nothing happened. I then went downstairs and found that the gas had been turned off. I called Tom Hoffmann's Company and was told they could come check it on Friday (3 Days after installation). When Tom arrived, all I got was excuses. No action. Well it turns out that the fan motor can be set at (I believe 9 speeds) but only one speed can be used at a time; there is no slow or recirculating speed... so now my furnace runs one speed all the time and pumps very cold air through my system until the thermostat tells the furnace to turn on the gas. They also installed a "No name" Humidifier when all we ever talked about was April Air Brand Humidifiers. For a man with 30 years experience, he certainly did not use that experience here. I now have an inferior product from a contractor that is not even licensed to install or service HVAC in this city and I am extremely dissatisfied.

Jake and Jeff did a great job trouble-shooting our old furnace which was 25 years old. It made sense to replace it. Jake answered all my questions about the various options and then the next day they returned early and installed the new unit. As others have said, they were on-time, polite and professional. They installed the new unit, took away the old unit and cleaned up everything afterwards. Appreciate the extra efforts!

As soon as I met with Thomas Hoffmann from Hoffmann Heating & Cooling I felt very comfortable in hiring him. Within the a short period of time and a brief discussion I had decided to go ahead and have Thomas to start doing the repairs on my furnace. He definitely figured out what needed to be done to get the unit up and running very quickly after doing some brief troubleshooting. At my first look at the water damage inside the furnace I had thought I was going to have to replace a lot more than just a couple of parts and a thorough cleaning. Thanks again Hoffmann Heating & Cooling for a terrific job, well done.

Informed me the guy whom put my HVAC unit in was done inproperly. But Tom got me up and going - Great Service and although it wasn"t an emergency he was there within a couple hours on a Sunday! Highly Recommend

They were fantastic! Nick was amazing and super thorough.

The technicians were prompt, courteous and respectful of my property. They assessed the problem and retrieved the needed part. All in all a good experience.
