I'm trying to remember exactly what he had to replace...hahah.. I think it was springs and some wheels or rollers of some sort. My hubby would know exactly but bottom line was he got it done in no time at all and the door works great now. I am thrilled. Will definitely use them again and again and plan to purchase a new door through them when that time comes.

He told me exactly what he saw, what he needed to do the job, how he was going to do it. We discussed different options and he made sure that I knew what he recommended and why, and then he did what we agreed to. | |Since he didn't have in his truck exactly the springs that he thought my door should have, he made sure to let me know that I could contact him to find the right ones so that my door would function optimally. | |He was pleasant, punctual, informative and quick. | |My garage door no longer is crooked and creaky and jerky - I couldn't be more satisfied.

Description of Work: The provider replaced the set of torsion springs in my garage door (one had snapped; they're best replaced as a pair). This was an Angie's List "Big Deal" offer. I needed this repair done and wanted it to be done by a consumer-recommended provider at a reasonable price, so this deal was why I joined Angie's list (the discount was more than the price of joining). Provider's initial contact with me was at the end of the 2nd business day because of some sort of glitch in the Angie's List message system which sent a batch of messages to the provider all at once. After that one glitch, all responsiveness and punctuality was excellent. I am satisfied with the service from this provider.

Description of Work: We discovered our garage door would not open even though the motor was making noise. I called and described the problem. They guessed (correctly) what the issue was and someone was at the house within an hour of my first call. The gear was changed and everything was working. He went to change the tension in the springs to lighten the burden on the motor and the spring broke (something he had warned us could happen anytime with the age of the unit). Luckily he was able to go ahead and also change the spring for us. Great service (and great timing as the spring probably would've broken on its own soon and we would've had to call them back out again).
